Intestinal flora analysis, also called microbiome analysis, is a technique used to study the microorganisms that live in our intestines. Our gut flora consists of an enormous amount of microorganisms, mainly bacteria, but also viruses, fungi and protozoa. Together, these microorganisms form our microbiome, which is an important part of our health and well-being. To carry out an intestinal flora analysis, you first need to collect a stool sample from the person to be examined. Then advanced laboratory techniques, such as DNA sequencing, are used to identify and quantify the various microorganisms present in the sample. When the analysis is complete, you get a detailed report that shows which microorganisms are in the intestines, their relative amount and how they relate to each other. This award-winning technology is not affected by changes in blood circulation, heart rate, hypotensia, environmental temperatures, and hypoxia, and shows low variation between individuals at the same level of pain. The pain monitor can be used on patients as young as 23 weeks of gestational age, as well as geriatric patients. MS is currently working on a miniaturized and wireless version of the SCA.
