At Gyded we use data analytics to help universities increase their retentions and create customised student experiences for students. Student drop offs is among the biggest challenges facing higher education today and has considerable implications both for schools and students alike. In our application, students self-report on their study experience and our algorithms guide them to a study plan suiting their ambitions and needs. The schools on the other hand, get a unique insight into their areas of improvement and how to most effectively address their key issues; may it be drop offs or an increased demand for student health services. Gyded is a part of a larger HR tech group consisting of several companies working within the recruitment and HR-tech industry. The short story: We're a Norwegian contech startup and we're prefabricating rebar cages with robotics. The long story: Rebartek was founded in 03/2018. In our first year, we have grown our team to 10 members with a wide range of backgrounds from different industries. We are developing a ground-breaking solution for the construction industry. Our robots manufacture steel reinforcement cages that are used in concrete structures. We are developing a highly automated service that starts at the design of the cages and ends with the delivery of the cages to the construction site. Today almost all rebar welding and tying is done manually by humans. This is dangerous, time-consuming and physically brutal work. We want to provide an optimized solution for manufacturing rebar, with an added bonus of tailored models and a streamlined administrative workflow.  Our philosophy is to take a lot of small steps quickly.
