Safestate is build by experts in informationsecurity and with the focus on offering companies the basic security tools at a price tag that is in relation to a company's size. The tools aim to prevent or completely avoid 90% of the threats that companies are exposed to on a daily basis. Customers use the platform themselves or via their IT operating partner and gain access to one or more of the tools via a monthly subscription. We started building Safestate in 2019 and in january 2021 we launched it to our closest partners and custumers. But as fairs only occur a few times a year and the customer demand is quickening, the need for readily available print design is increasing. The majority of design companies outsource print design but find it difficult and time-consuming to locate new design talent. Or they ask their over-seas supplier to deliver a print and loose control over copyright and infringement which could be devastating to the brand and the business. We are looking to replace an analogue system with a digital one and in the process changing how the industry operates by inventing services that they didn’t know they needed. Founding partner Ellen has been working with freelance designers and know of the frustration and will to get their work out on the market and the struggle to gain audience with companies in the industry. This is the problem that we want to solve and in the process disrupt an industry. Urbanization and worsening transport problems in cities (e.g. air pollution, noise, traffic injuries, congestion, parking shortages, etc) lead to new mobility trends. The increased importance of cycling and micro-mobility is one of them. Our mission is to enhance urban cycling and encourage more users to commute on their bikes. To do so we design, assemble and deliver unique electric bicycles (also called pedelecs) for urban commuters. But we are not just a bicycle manufacturer, we consider ourselves as a company defining urban mobility. We are a young Finnish startup company with 6 team members, who are currently living in 3 different countries. We came up with the concept of our e-bike and started active prototyping in early 2019. We've already built first prototypes, tested key hypotheses and are now on the final stage of product development. Because of an ongoing patenting process, we are still in somewhat "stealth mode".
