But current ammonia production is not sustainable, releasing over 1% of global greenhouse gas emissions during production facilities and further emissions during transportation to the end user, farmers. NitroVolt offers a local ammonia production solution that gives farmers the ability to produce their own nitrogen-based fertilizer. The only inputs required by NitroVolt’s container-sized systems are air, water, and electricity, enabling production of sustainable ammonia directly at farms.
