Cirous Ltd

We have a web app called Carrot bank. A company that uses a carrot bank has: - better employer image - more motivated employees - more productive staff The purpose of the carrot bank is to motivate members/people to perform tedious tasks or additional tasks. On the other hand, it is intended to reward the perpetrators of those tasks for their work. This allows staff to focus on what is essential and important to the company. Example 1: The controversy over the coffee brewing turn ended like a wall after the introduction of the Carrot Bank. The time previously spent on daily arguing who will make coffee, is now in billable work. Example 2: Construction workers are motivated to use the waiting time to do other work, such as cleaning and finishing a completed site or helping a co-worker. The goal of the carrot bank is to get the community (family, company, sports club) to agree together the rules of how to collect carrots and how they can be used. Once the rules have been agreed together, it is easier for everyone to stick to them and they are fair to everyone.

Platypus

The unlikeliest creature imaginable. (Yes, that's a pun) Our company is named after one of the most extraordinary animals on the planet – the platypus. And it’s no coincidence. Did you know that when a (stuffed) platypus was brought to the British Museum in 1799 the director of the museum concluded that it must be an elaborate joke? An egg-laying mammal with a beak! Truth is, the platypus is simply the best example of the fact that even the unlikeliest of beasts is no joke. It’s just perfectly suited to a very specific environment. We strongly believe that this is also true for everyone who joins an organization. There's no culture that's right for everyone. You need to find the one that suits you. That’s why our mission is to promote more genuine conversations between people and organizations, so everyone can come to work in an environment that’s right for them. Where it started. How it's going. Platypus was founded in February 2019 by Nico Blier-Silvestri and Daniel Bowen. They'd both spent years working in HR and recruitment and were frustrated by the lack of objective data for matching people with cultures. Since then we've grown to a team of 24 beautiful beasts. And put an equally beautiful product on the market. Meet us all We’re a team of 27 people and 13 nationalities. Our company language is broken English. We’re based in Denmark but what’s driving us is a mix of everything. Our team's top values are Flexibility, Impact, and Learning. That makes sense, since we’re a startup and building stuff is at the heart of what we do. And we have families, home countries, and interests that are a high priority for us to make room for.

Swash

Swash is the first step in shaping a new data economy where people are rewarded for the value they contribute online. It’s a way for everyday internet users to profit from their data, redefining the balance between people, data businesses, and the internet. The current structure doesn’t acknowledge that, without internet users, the digital economy wouldn’t exist. A select few reap the rewards that belong to the many by collecting, using, and selling our data in shady ways without hesitation or consequence. As a solution, Swash provides access to ethically sourced user data that preserves user privacy and is given with full consent, making the data more ethical and reliable for data buyers. Swash rewards users for the data they already create when they surf the web and recognises them as integral components of the data economy and essential value contributors. We enrich users by allowing them to profit from their data and, through redefining how data is collected and valued, accelerate change. At Swash, we believe that powering change begins by empowering people. The data economy can be made to serve the majority to shape a fairer, more equitable world. The bigger the Swash community, the more value returned.
