The Farm Society™ is a brand child of Plant Tech AS, born and bred in Trondheim. We deliver freshly harvested greens, herbs and gourmet mushrooms to restaurants, hotels, cantines and catering. Plant Tech explores and develops solutions for urban agriculture and indoor factory farming. We produce climate-friendly leafy vegetables and greens that are delivered at peak within hours after harvesting.

Based in Kongsberg - the heart of the Subsea Valley - Kongsberg Ferrotech is utilizing world-leading competence to develop the first-ever automated solution, the Oktapous, for riser cleaning, NDT inspection, maintenance (coating), and structural repair (glass/carbon fiber reinforcement). The repair will be performed inside the patented Habitat - allowing for composite repairs subsea and in the splash zone while offering quality as if the repair was performed in a laboratory environment. The Oktapous will offer the client around 50% cost reduction, together with improved quality and significantly reduced HSE risk compare to existing solutions by removing the need for rope access, divers, and ROVs. Kongsberg Ferrotech is partly funded by the Malaysian-based oil and gas company, Petronas Charigali. This ensures us access to the market needs during development, an offshore platform for prototype testing, and the critical first client for market acceptance. Akademikernes Startup er blandt Danmarks største og mest succesfulde iværksætterprogrammer.
