Studiebooster

Studiebooster is a knowledge-driven platform dedicated to helping students navigate one of the most difficult phases of their education: the transition from university into their first full-time job. In 2023, 42% of students reported that this transition is hard, yet there are almost no specialised organisations offering practical, modern guidance. Getting a job, you are excited about, after graduation come with too much uncertainty. Studiebooster works on changing that. Creating better job security for graduates. Right now, Studiebooster focuses on creating clear, accessible information for students—books, articles, tools and content that turn career uncertainty into concrete steps. I share insights, frameworks and real-world advice that help students understand what employers actually look for, and how to build a compelling early-career profile beyond grades. In the near future, Studiebooster will evolve into a larger ecosystem: community-driven, tool-supported, and built in collaboration with student organisations and individuals with similar missions. All of these are in the making, and we need ambitios people to be the number 1 source for students, who believe there are greater than their grades. The vision is to create Denmark’s first dedicated uni-to-job transition knowledge platform—one place where students can get guidance, structure and support as they take their first steps into working life. FEESH...the feed for your fish Aquaculture is the fastest-growing food sector and is vital for meeting the protein needs of a growing global population. Yet, its growth is constrained by reliance on two unsustainable protein sources: fishmeal and soy protein concentrate (SPC). Fishmeal is produced from wild-caught fish, putting pressure on already fragile marine ecosystems, while soy production drives large-scale deforestation and carries a heavy carbon footprint. Both are also subject to volatile global markets, making aquafeed production environmentally damaging, expensive, and vulnerable. Insects, particularly Black Soldier Fly Larvae (BSFL), are an attractive and more sustainable alternative. They can be produced locally, upcycle organic waste streams into valuable protein, and have a low environmental footprint. However, despite this potential, insect meal remains a niche ingredient in aquafeeds. The main barrier is chitin, a fiber-like polymer in the insect exoskeleton that reduces digestibility and locks away valuable proteins. This limits inclusion rates of BSFL meal in aquafeeds to just 2–8%, far below the levels needed to meaningfully replace fishmeal and soy. At FEESH, we are solving this problem by applying a precision microbial fermentation platform, enhanced with ultrasonication pre-treatment, to upgrade BSFL meal into a high-performance protein ingredient. Our process disrupts the chitin-protein matrix, making proteins more bioavailable, reducing indigestible fiber, and enriching the lipid fraction with beneficial fatty acids such as EPA and DHA. Additionally, fermentation produces bioactive peptides and immunostimulatory compounds that improve gut health and disease resilience in fish. The result is a fermented insect meal with digestibility levels reaching 90–95%, enabling high inclusion rates of >20% in aquafeeds without compromising fish growth, palatability, or welfare. By combining biological and physical processing, FEESH unlocks the true nutritional potential of insects, transforming them from a niche supplement into a viable replacement for fishmeal and soy protein concentrate. This matters because the aquafeed industry needs scalable, circular, and climate-friendly solutions. Our innovation reduces dependence on environmentally destructive feed sources, cuts CO₂ emissions, and strengthens food system resilience. For insect producers, it creates new market opportunities with higher-value products. For aquafeed formulators and fish farmers, it delivers a sustainable, locally produced protein that supports both performance and animal health. And for society, it contributes to global food security and a more sustainable bioeconomy. VentriJect is developing the groundbreaking Seismofit® System, a health solution that uses advanced seismocardiography and an AI algorithm to help healthcare and wellness providers assess cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) accurately and efficiently, without physical exercise. Cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF), often measured by VO₂max, is a powerful predictor of long-term health and a key indicator of a person's risk for chronic diseases. Unfortunately, current methods for measuring VO₂max are often complex, time-consuming, and require a high-intensity physical effort (e.g., on a treadmill), which makes them inaccessible to many, especially the elderly, those with mobility issues, or patients recovering from illness. This widespread problem affects millions of people globally who could benefit from a simple, accurate, and non-invasive way to assess their fitness levels. We have developed the Seismofit® System, an award-winning medical device that revolutionizes CRF measurement. Our solution uses advanced seismocardiography—a technology that records the micro-vibrations of the chest caused by heartbeats—in combination with a sophisticated AI algorithm. In under three minutes, our system provides a highly accurate estimate of VO₂max without the need for any physical exercise. This fast, simple, and non-invasive process makes it possible for healthcare and wellness providers to easily integrate CRF assessments into routine check-ups, helping them provide more personalized care and better disease prevention strategies. The spark for VentriJect was ignited by a clear unmet need in the healthcare industry. We recognized that while VO₂max is a vital health metric, its assesment was limited to specialized settings due to the demanding nature of existing tests. This created a barrier to widespread adoption, preventing countless individuals from understanding and improving their cardiorespiratory health. PayTjek is developing an AI-powered payroll verification platform that helps employees detect and resolve salary discrepancies through automated collective agreement analysis and intelligent error detection. Payroll errors are a widespread and costly problem, with billions lost each year because employees never uncover them. Payslips are often complex and difficult to understand without specialist knowledge of collective agreements and labor laws — expertise usually reserved for lawyers, union representatives, and HR professionals. This leaves everyday workers, from healthcare staff to teachers, at risk of losing money they are rightfully owed. PayTjek democratizes payroll expertise. Employees simply upload their payslip, and our AI analyzes salary data, cross-references it with relevant collective agreements, checks against work schedules and contracts, and flags discrepancies or missing payments. The results are delivered in clear, plain language, giving workers both understanding and actionable next steps. Our technology is built to interpret even the most complex Danish labor agreements, with a roadmap to expand across European markets. We are driven by a strong sense of fairness. With data and science, we are empowering women to understand their body and hormonal cycle. More than ever before, women are interested in tracking and understanding their menstrual cycle. Today, the majority of women are disconnected from their menstrual cycle due to modern’s life stress, birth prevention and lack of information. As an example, ~80% of women don’t know when their monthly ovulation occurs, the main event in their menstrual cycle and a key health indicator. This lack of awareness is a contributing factor to the growing problem of hormonal diseases (~60% of women suffers from hormonal imbalances) and infertility worldwide (~15-20% of women).
