Zeabuz

Zeabuz is a spin-off from the leading research community on autonomous vessels at NTNU in Trondheim. Our autonomy technology is field-proven for shortcuts across urban waterways, and we are now searching for long-term investors while preparing for market launch. Water used to be the main infrastructure for most cities in the world. While roads are filling up everywhere, much of the urban waters are have become highly underutilized. At Zeabuz we want to reverse this trend by introducing a technology platform that makes local waterborne transport an economically viable and sustainable option. Our mobility system, which comprises a combination of a network of small vessels, electric drive, and autonomous operation, is a truly scalable solution fit for many of the world’s urban areas. Enabling increased flow by utilizing available waterways will allow more people to travel by foot and bike and hence will reduce the need for road traffic and in the end reduce emissions of climate gasses. Another perspective is that dynamic utilization of waterways will reduce the need for new inflexible infrastructures such as roads and bridges, which saves both money, emissions from concrete production, and local footprint. The Zeabuz urban mobility system will be a compelling and attractive mobility solution for cities globally. Rough estimates have shown that there is a market for approx. 4000 Zeabuz-like ferries in the EU alone. Zeabuz aims to take a major share of this emerging market. The company is founded on the idea that passenger transport across urban waters is a highly suitable starting point for commercializing autonomous mobility. In this segment, risks are mitigated by low speeds and high physical margins which also allow us to focus on solving only a few problems at a time while still earning positive returns from the start. As the Zeabuz technology platform matures in this first segment, we will explore its scaling potential across several dimensions. This means we could branch out and adapt to new opportunities and market demand based on our solid foundation in autonomy, assurance, and mobility solutions. Our autonomy platform can be utilized to deliver Autonomy-as-a-Service which enables entries into new markets, new use cases, and an expansion to more complex operational domains. Zeabuz is now preparing for launching a commercial pilot in a Scandinavian city in 2022. Much of the financial structure required is already in place and will be triggered by the entry of a Lead Investor

Ebie

Ebie is paving the way for a modern security solution for landlords and renters. We replace the traditional deposit with an insurance solution. For renters, the deposit can financially be very harmful. The design of a deposit is inherently poor. We quickly realized that there is no need for a deposit at all. We replaced the security component with an insurance policy, it protects the landlord and brings fair conditions to the renter. As a result, we can completely change the way securities are defined in the real estate industry. Ebie is an insurance agent, we are partnered with a large Swedish insurance company that enables us to sell our insurance product. This way, we can offer comfortable and risk-free securities for both landlords and renters. We are developing a platform where landlords and renters can apply for our insurance on existing rental contracts. Furthermore, we are determined to offer landlords great value beyond not having to handle deposits again. As an insurance agent, we assess thoroughly the risk with each renter. We realize the value for us, but also for landlords to know this about their customers. We are just about to begin selling our insurance product. Platform development is underway. We are determined to simplify renting for both renters and landlords with improved security. Would you like to join our team? Keep an eye out for job postings, or contact us directly.

ProCollective

There is a paradigm shift in the way we work, as people around the world are opting to work on more flexible terms as freelancers. Nearly half (46%) of Generation Z workers are freelancers, signalling that freelancing is here to stay. As a result, companies need to equip themselves with the right technology to manage their freelance workforce strategically. However, companies are stuck using spreadsheets and email, resulting in a lack of visibility and control of their freelance activities. In 2021, we launched ProCollective, a Freelance Management System enabling companies to easily onboard, manage, and communicate with their external workers. So far, we've helped companies ditch their spreadsheets, and work together with their freelancer teams in a lightweight, easy-to-use system.

Phinder

1: Short description (the pitch) Phinder is developing a software solution to help companies to gain control of their data and comply with GDPR with a unique combination of intelligence technologies. 2: The What: What are you solving + more in depth details “Unstrucutred personal data is one of the largest barriers for achieving GDPR compliance” (Partner, large danish law firm). To achieve GDPR compliance an organisation must have a complete overview of and control of the personal data which they control. This is often done in an ineffective manner with manual processes. Unstructured personal data is often generated ad-hoc and stored randomly across a wide variety of IT systems. Very often this creates large amounts of non-compliant personal data and hinder organisations responding to access and delete request and achieving a GDPR compliance. 3: The How: Describe how your startup is solving this Phinder Compliance Center is “plug and play” and supports images, text documents, videos and e-mails. We aim to provide the customer with a simple result which quickly give them an overview and clear understanding of how to improve their compliance level. The software solution leverages a unique combination of artificial intelligence technologies such as facial recognition, face detection, OCR, NLP and propriety algorithms to identify personal data in images, videos, text documents and e-mails across wide variety of data sources, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Teams, Exchange and SharePoint. 4: The Why: What motivated you to get started Let us know what fired your spark. How did you become aware of the problem you're working to solve? What motivated you to quit your day job to focus on your entrepreneurial ambitions? In essence, why are you doing this? “Automated data compliance, keeping privacy private” is a mantra which drives Phinder. We want to leverage innovative and technical solution to enhance privacy for the individual. We believe that the way to achieve it, is to help organisations reduce costs and increase efficiency for their compliance processes, and becoming more transparent for their employees, customers and the world the operate within.

Funday Factory

Funday Factory was founded in 2011 by creative thinker Anders Leicht Rohde and founder of Mediaworkers, Max Nielsen. Anders’ dream was to make his own quality games and with a head filled with creative ideas, all he needed was a partner with a strong business sense. Funday Factory came to life as the fusion of garage-feel gamers and great entrepreneurship. Since then, a lot of water has gone under the bridge, but Funday Factory still combine the best of two worlds: Passionate gaming and insane business skills. We’re critical thinkers, and we never settle for mediocrity. When we find ways to optimise your ideas, we’re going to speak our mind. And no worries - we’re a bunch of nice and standup fellows.
