Herodesk is a fully remote tech startup based in Denmark. We have created a new customer service platform for small and mid-sized businesses and webshops. Our mission is to make customer service easy. It should be easy for our customers to use Herodesk, which in turn should make it easy for their customers to get the help they need. To achieve that, we've created a helpdesk and live-chat product that is simpler and cheaper than the alternatives. Our product was launched in September 2023. Now, a year later, we have close to 100 paying customers, with more being onboarded weekly. Our founder, Anders Eiler, has previously co-founded SpeedGaming and Meebox, and led the DanDomain E-commerce division (a >€10M rev. division). Based on those learnings, it was clear that a simple and affordable customer service platform was missing for small and mid-sized businesses. So in the summer of 2023, he founded Herodesk and entered a deep-red ocean with many established competitors, but with a mission to make great helpdesk software available for the masses. Currently we are focussing on developing age identity solution for minors to make controls on alcohol and tobacco purchase. Recently Danish law has implemented a strict controls for retail chains to enforce a digital age check or by physical document checks to be done for young customers , whose age cannot be determined. As per the latest survey done by DR almost 80% young people were able to avail alcohol who were under 18. We are developing a solution that combines both facial analysis and identity using mitID.
