Solstorm Rocket Propulsion

Solstorm Rocket Propulsion makes the next generation of rocket engines using hybrid propulsion technology and 3d-printed fuel cellsAs the market for commercial space industries matures we are seeing smaller and smaller satellites being built and with it, increasing demand for small satellite launchers providing dedicated launchesAs existing engines are mainly developed by government agencies, military providers with non-export policies, and competing launch vehicle providers, most market entrants are forced to develop all their own engine designs from scratch. This is a major bottleneck in the development of smaller launch vehicles, forcing every actor to go through the same R&D process before they can perform their actual business services. By providing a commercially available off-the-shelf rocket engine design for the launch vehicle's upper stage, we want to save these launch companies the initial years of testing and research needed, letting our customers skip the r&d-heavy initial process of engine development and go straight to value-generating satellite launches. Reducing the time from inception to launch by several years, we relieve rocket launcher companies of the insecurity and stress related to the development of rocket engines and let them go straight to launch, bringing more cargo to orbit.

Cavai AS

Cavai AS was founded in December 2017 with the goal of revolutionizing online advertising. User experiences have largely been neglected on the web, and Cavai saw early on that chatbot technology, which has initially been used in customer service, could be a wonderfully good advertising product. Usually, chatbot technology is used as customer service on its own website, while Cavai's platform is built to be able to use chatbot technology on millions of websites for contextual advertising. The team today consists of 15 people, and the product has been launched in Norway, Finland, Sweden and the UK with 50 paying customers. Customers are very pleased and report that Cavai's technology is having a very good effect on completed advertising campaigns. Cavai will have its first month of positive operating results in October and looks to have sales of around 3 million in 2019. Next year will be a big growth year, where we have budgeted with a turnover of NOK 41 million. This growth has also been discussed by Finansavisen, where as part of Finansavisen's web-TV series "Vext", Cavai filmed his meeting with advertising legend Sir Marting Sorell in London. For more information, see https://finansavisen.no/vext/tech/2019/10/23/7465643/chatbot-company-cavai-2020-blir-the-store-growst>  To finance further growth, we are now running a seed funding round of NOK 9.5 - 15 million. The company is priced at NOK 60 million pre-money. For more information see the investor summary, investor presentation and subscription form attached.

ZEN OCEANS

ZEN OCEANS is a startup developing fully electric, autonomous-ready ships to affordably decarbonize ocean transport. We will think big and nudge the market for fully electric ships from 0 to 1. To fund our vision, we will develop products that in themselves can scale into large revenue-generating operations; among them maritime batteries (ZENERGY) and autonomy solutions (OCEANEYE). The future of ocean shipping is simple, safe, and sustainable - the frictionless fabric of global trade. Consequently, we consider the argument for electric and autonomous ships to be very strong. We envision a fleet of electric ships deployed at scale, coordinated by an intelligent network for the efficient movement of goods. The future starts now. Maritime batteries: We develop safe and low-cost maritime batteries for large energy systems. Type approval by DNV is ongoing. Fully electric ships: We develop energy- and cost-effective electric ship concepts for short sea trade and more. If you want to learn more, please reach out to us!
