Mevia

Mevia helps patients take the right medication dose at the right time. Our innovative solution of printed traces, electronics and cloud based IT can be adapted to any pharmaceutical packaging. We can detect when a pill or dose is taken in real time and communicate instantly with the patient, doctor, care giver or relative in any form of communication that they prefer, be that sms, email, phone calls or push notifications in a mobile app.

Workwide

Workwide is a Värmland based startup established in 2014. We run some of Europe’s most exciting job boards, niched for finding international job opportunities. Starting in Sweden and for the Swedish market in September 2015 we are now active in two additional markets: Germany with www.workwide.de and France with www.workwide.fr. Our job boards is where Swedes/Germans/Frenchmen go to find international job opportunities. We are planning to launch our concept in additional markets during 2017.

Noona Healthcare Oy

Noona is a mobile service that provides cancer centers a real-time holistic view of their patients wellbeing. Noona improves the quality of cancer patient care and makes the patient-clinic relationship more personal and meaningful. Clinical staff can rapidly respond to severe symptoms and provide better care to far greater numbers of patients. Noona also enables patients to follow their own wellbeing and recovery and stay in close contact with their clinic.

uMover

The uMover® is a smart and usability-focused 3-wheel electrical vehicle for transporting people over shorter indoor and outdoor distances (0,5-5 km). It has been developed by us, DTU spinout CJ Company IVS, whom have built the uMover® upon a future mobility concept proposed by Continental AG (CAG). The uMover® targets employees who need to travel frequently within shorter distances, enabling them to become more efficient at work by easing their way of travel and reducing their travel time substantially. The uMover® will be a superior work-environment travel solution, as it – due to its smart design – offers the flexible advantages of walking, but with the similar speed and ease as driving a car or a bike. Drawbacks of the solutions in the market today are high prices, space requirements (especially for cars), no compliance with traffic regulations and laws and poor safety control (limiting the indoor application possibilities). Through cooperation with DTU and CAG we have been able to complete a full proof-of-concept and develop several of the unique mechanical components and are now in the detailing phase of the mechanical and electrical construction for a scale-up of the uMover®.

Epigram AI

Epigram is a machine learning company based in Oslo, Norway. We’re currently solving machine learning problems for companies in Norway, but aim to create our own product in the not so distant future. Epigram was founded in February 2017 by previous and current students at the Department of Informatics at the University of Oslo (IFI). Today we count six full-time employees, and one part-time student.

Gro Play

We are a game studio with a social mission. We want to entertain kids and families while also changing the way people think about important issues like health and sustainability. Games are simply great tools for learning. We are targeting the entire family, from grandmother to grandchild, which creates a common playground for all family members. Groplay is a game changer. We bridge the gap between age groups; we learn kids about important issues, and we entertain. We are interested in doing good. Social responsibility is not just a central part in our games, but in every aspect of how we work. For instance, we have recruited people with disabilities and we have worked with MISA. Doing so is obvious to us. We are aiming to merge high-level entertainment with human issues to get kids to relate to problems in a playful way. If we can make it fun and accessible, we can increase interest in social issues among children. Further, we want to create a common playground for both children and their parents and grandparents. We are a multinational team. Some of us work from home, some in Stockholm, some in Poland and some in Hungary: we assume this makes us a virtual team. Despite this, we speak every day, and we have Monday meetings to update each other and share input. We recognize effort, and we celebrate when we reach milestones.
