We know how to optimise the production process and properties of titania nanoparticles. After successfully developing and commercialising a series of photocatalytic surface treatment products (www.joma-int.com), we are directing our R&D efforts towards a new area; the use of titania as anode-material in Lithium-ion batteries (LIB). A battery with our material on the anode will charge faster, last longer, be safer and tolerate temperature variation better than conventional batteries which have graphite on the anode, and outcompete LTO-batteries on capacity. The development work takes place in our in-house laboratory in Bergen, where our dedicated team (Hjørdis, Marthe, Rob, Anders) play around with titania, giving life to innovative solutions.

Ecomerden is a complete producer of semi-closed cage systems for Aquaculture founded in 2012. With over 25 years of experience in delivering technology in the aquaculture industry, we started developing Ecomerden, a European patented semi-closed system for the lice-free production of fish. By 2015 the first cage was installed in Solund. Sogn & Fjordane. Here we have produced lice-free post-smolt of Atlantic salmon (90 grams-1kg) for 2 years with groundbreaking results. Using Ecomerden as a combination in the production line of the fish not only prevents lice pressure but also makes a more robust smolt ready for the open cages. With the results so far showing that the technology and biology are working, the company is now ready for commercialization.

From the very beginning, we have been working very closely with the Norwegian construction industry and their construction sites. We have spent a lot of time in the field and on construction sites, we have interviewed decision-makers and users, received their feedback, ideas, and comments, tested mock-ups, and improved. We have now published the first version of the website Devent for Agility. The idea is to have a website where you can find agility-related information in the form of a meeting overview (list or calendar), results, annual overviews, and statistics for dog/organizer/judge (graphs are best viewed on a PC or landline phone). You manage which dogs you want to see statistics for easily on "my page". The system also has modules for setting up and running your own events and supports e.g. 5 size classes if desired.
