Space Denmark

Denmark’s Space Sector Landing Pad Space Denmark is a newly created, independent umbrella for Denmark’s space ecosystem. We create cohesion through networking activities, community-building efforts, and targeted international engagement. Our focus is on raising the visibility of Danish space companies and connecting them to people and opportunities that matter. A Changing Sector The space sector is moving fast. Denmark is home to both experienced players and emerging talent, and interest in the field is growing. As the landscape evolves, there’s a need for a neutral platform that can support progress without getting in the way. That’s where we come in. Action with Purpose We design initiatives that respond to real needs in the ecosystem. Delegation visits, insight reports, and direct support to organisations are some of the ways we work. Our approach is flexible and changing to the demands of our members and the sector. Why We Started Space Denmark was founded to fill a gap. The idea came from direct conversations with people in the sector who were already doing the work but needed someone to connect it. We built something that could grow with the sector – simply focused on bringing a new level of ambition to Denmark's space sector.

GLYON

GLYON is developing a CO₂-powered textile-to-textile recycling technology to help brands, fiber producers, and recyclers solve the growing textile waste crisis with a breakthrough chemical recycling process that turns waste into virgin-quality raw materials for new fibers—without fossil fuels. We address the massive problem of textile waste, a global crisis where over 92 million tonnes of textile waste are discarded each year—most of it ending up in landfills or incinerated. This contributes to major pollution issues but also forces the textile industry to continue its dependence on virgin fossil-based materials. Our solution targets fiber producers, brands, and recyclers who need circular raw material solutions. Our CO₂-based chemical recycling process breaks down polyester textiles into building blocks and leaves other fibers like cotton intact. Both PET building blocks and cotton can be used to produce new, high-quality fibers without the need for virgin oil and reducing water consumption and CO₂ emissions.

ABchar

ABchar is developing a new type of pyrolysis reactor, affordable heating and the possibility of small-scale biochar production, adapted to agriculture.. This will help achieve the goal of a 40% reduction in emissions from the agricultural sector. What is pyrolysis? Simply put, this is the heating of an organic material without access to oxygen. This leads to a series of reactions that ultimately result in 3 main products; biochar, oil and gas. We want to utilize the biochar in this process. The oil and gas will be burned and the heat from this will be used to dry grain, heat barns, greenhouses, residential buildings and other things that need heat on a farm. Why pyrolysis and biochar? Plants absorb CO2 from the air around us through photosynthesis. They are actually extremely good at this too. The residual product is mainly oxygen and the plant material. The great thing about pyrolysis is that we are able to separate water, oxygen and hydrogen from the plant material and we are left with more or less pure carbon 80% +. This is carbon from the air! If we take this coal and spread it on our agricultural land, it will be stored there for up to 1000 years and perhaps longer. In some cases, the soil will become more fertile and less vulnerable to periods of too much or too little water.

Cap

Cap is an AI-native operating system for modern venture capital. Founded in 2023 in Copenhagen, we’re building a connected workspace where investors get the full picture in real time, without juggling multiple tools. Our journey started with a simple but powerful observation: today’s investors don’t lack data, they lack structured insight. Instead of switching between Affinity, Todoist, Notion and endless spreadsheets, Cap gives venture capital firms a single, structured platform that organizes, understands, and prioritizes information. This AI-native foundation is what sets us apart. Where others layer AI on top of existing clutter, Cap was designed from day one to structure complexity into clarity. Our platform continuously adapts, ensuring VCs can move faster, act with confidence, and lead with clarity in an increasingly competitive investment landscape. At Cap, we combine engineering excellence, ambition, and entrepreneurial drive to reimagine how venture capital operates. We are still at the beginning of our story, but with early traction across the Europe and the US, we’re building a product and a team with global impact in mind.

Good Tape

Good Tape is developing an AI-powered transcription tool to help journalists, researchers, and businesses eliminate the hassle of manual transcription with fast, secure, and highly accurate transcriptions. Manual transcription is slow, tedious, and error-prone. It affects professionals across industries who rely on interviews, meetings, and recordings for their work. Many existing solutions compromise on accuracy, security, or usability. We’re building a tool that uses advanced ASR models, ensuring high accuracy even in challenging audio. Our platform is secure, intuitive, and designed to integrate seamlessly into users' workflows. We started Good Tape because we saw how much time and effort professionals waste on transcription. We knew AI could do better—without sacrificing security or control. Our goal is to make transcription effortless so people can focus on what matters: their work.

StudyBuddies

StudyBuddies is developing an AI-powered platform to help students form effective, diverse study groups. We solve the challenge of connecting students who struggle with collaboration or feel isolated, using AI to create personalized group matches and foster success throughout their studies. Research shows that a lack of social and academic connections leads to lower engagement and retention rates. We address student isolation and ineffective teamwork—problems that impact academic performance and overall well-being. These issues are prevalent, with studies showing that up to 40% of students feel disconnected during their education. Our focus is on empowering students with tailored study groups that drive learning outcomes and create lasting networks. StudyBuddies leverages AI algorithms to match students based on study preferences, goals, and academic strengths. Our platform includes tools to track progress, promote accountability, and provide real-time feedback. We ensure that all students, regardless of background, can find a supportive community and thrive academically. The idea for StudyBuddies came from my own experiences as a student. I’ve faced group assignments where I ended up without a group at all and failed, and I’ve seen others struggle and lose motivation because they felt lonely and unsupported. These experiences made it clear to me that there has to be a better way to create effective groups and academic communities. This became the driving force behind starting StudyBuddies.

Saichologist

Saichologist is a digital platform tailored to help clinicians manage their practices more efficiently. It offers a suite of tools designed to reduce administrative burden and improve the quality of client care. By integrating various functionalities, such as patient management, session tracking, invoicing, and analytics, the platform aims to streamline operations for clinicians. Problem Being Solved: • Administrative Overload: Many clinicians face the challenge of balancing patient care with the extensive administrative tasks required to run their practices. This includes managing appointments, tracking patient progress, handling billing, and ensuring compliance with consent and privacy regulations. These tasks can detract from the time clinicians can devote to direct client interaction. • Practice Efficiency: Clinicians often need better tools to organize patient data, track outcomes, and handle documentation efficiently. Saichologist provides a centralized dashboard where clinicians can manage their entire practice, ensuring that they can focus more on patient care while the platform takes care of the administrative work. Why Saichologist: • Streamlining Practice Management: Clinicians can use Saichologist.com to consolidate various tasks—such as booking, patient communication, invoicing, and session tracking—into one platform. This reduces the need for multiple software tools and manual processes. • Scalability: For clinicians with growing practices, the platform helps to scale by automating routine tasks and providing clear analytics on patient engagement and therapy outcomes . By addressing these key issues, Saichologist enhances both the clinician’s workflow and the overall client experience, ensuring that clinicians can provide high-quality care with fewer administrative distractions.

Herodesk

Herodesk is a fully remote tech startup based in Denmark. We have created a new customer service platform for small and mid-sized businesses and webshops. Our mission is to make customer service easy. It should be easy for our customers to use Herodesk, which in turn should make it easy for their customers to get the help they need. To achieve that, we've created a helpdesk and live-chat product that is simpler and cheaper than the alternatives. Our product was launched in September 2023. Now, a year later, we have close to 100 paying customers, with more being onboarded weekly. Our founder, Anders Eiler, has previously co-founded SpeedGaming and Meebox, and led the DanDomain E-commerce division (a >€10M rev. division). Based on those learnings, it was clear that a simple and affordable customer service platform was missing for small and mid-sized businesses. So in the summer of 2023, he founded Herodesk and entered a deep-red ocean with many established competitors, but with a mission to make great helpdesk software available for the masses. We've found product market fit, and it's time to scale the businesses nationally and internationally.
