Colossyan

Colossyan is creating synthetic videos for advertisers to help them reach their audience more effectively and engage them more efficiently with personalized video content. Creating a single video as an advertisement is not going to reach many kinds of people, because it is not fit for everyone's personal needs. Not only advertisers lose a lot of money, but video production costs do not allow them to scale their product videos to a higher amount. This problem is affecting the whole advertising market world-wide and with our technology companies from small to large size are going to benefit extremely well by generating a larger Return on Investment. At Colossyan we are building state-of-the-art machine learning models to manipulate the facial expressions and voices of the individuals within the adds we are scaling and personalizing. We put a lot of effort into making it as realistic as possible. By using this so called "Deepfake" technology, we are able to create dozens of videos in relatively short time compared to actually filming them. The founders have been part of similar deepfake technology projects and we know the whole field around it. We strive to be an ethical AI company, we are going to have very strict contracts for the usage of our technology and not going to allow any other entity than us to operate it. We believe in the synthetic revolution of the 21st century and we are really eager to see what we can achieve with such a new type of applied science.

WeUse

WeUse is a platform enabling communities such as housing associations, sports clubs, companies and private persons to become more sustainable and strengthen the cohesion by sharing resources, helping and connecting each other in closed networks. Besides saving space and costs of owning the resources yourself, you can earn money by providing your neighbourhood with resources you own. WeUse does not only have a direct positive impact on our environment, but also on our society by encouraging a mindful consumption, creating a strong community, and lowering the barrier for a positive contribution to our environment, by every individual. Most of our human behaviour is based on routines. If an object breaks or we need something in a specific situation, we tend to just go out and buy a new one, even though we will not use it that often. With WeUse we want to support a behavioural change in our society in favour of our environment. By developing an app, with a focus on a low usage barrier and a front-end created in collaboration with potential users, where people can easily rent each others objects, we want to strengthen the concept of a shared economy in our communities. the goal is to inspire people to change their mindset by using the app.

Salta Friends Ltd is a startup company in the Tech industry with the clearly stated goal of providing innovative solutions in order to helping people with disabilities and their relatives to a more social and active life together with others. The challenges that people with disabilities face on an everyday basis are hard to imagine for the rest of the population. We here at Salta Friends want to improve the quality of life for our target group while staying financially stable. We've come a long way down the road but we still have a mile or two before we can be a global player. To this time being, the Salta Friends mobile application has been developed, strong partnerships have been secured and the buzz for our product is starting to boil up. Salta Friends are on a mission to increase the quality of life for people with disability around the world. HELIOT EMIL

1. INTRODUCTION A Ready-To-Wear fashion company presented by brothers Julius Juul and Victor Juul from Copenhagen, Denmark. Exploring the lines between form and function driven by experimental approaches, HELIOT EMILâ„¢ pushes the semantic dialogue within the creative industry. A subversive scandinavian and monochromatic aesthetic, combined with custom developed materials, fabrics and trimmings, HELIOT EMILâ„¢ entices a high attention to detail throughout every branch. Designer Julius Juul draws on thought provoking themes and a curiosity about creative expression reflected in every collection by HELIOT EMILâ„¢. 2. FOUNDATION Since the first collection was showcased in Milan during spring / summer 17 season, HELIOT EMILâ„¢ has continually expropriated its exploration of the creative milieu. The aesthetic is carefully developed with custom fabrics, hardware trimmings and materials. Each hardware detail is created from the bottom up with form and function in mind. Experimentation and a high attention to detail is ensured by partnering only with the best in their category and industry. A tight-bond with all partners allows for a coherent evolution of the brand aesthetic. With painstaking attention to detail each garment is conceived from a collective ideation for each season standing in relation to the brand as a whole. 3. FUTURE The subsequent phase for HELIOT EMILâ„¢ will see a further cementation of the brand and an expansion of the semantic dialogue with the creative milieu. The core value of the brand will be explored without compromise, through both physical spaces enticing further ideas of form and function, and experiences expressing the innovative nature of the brand. Underlying the continuous organic development is a coherent understanding of the brand developed in close proximity with all partners.

Pixop

Pixop is a cloud-based AI- and ML-powered video enhancer that is designed to help production companies, TV stations, rightsholders and independent creators monetize their digital archives by enhancing and upscaling footage to fit today's screens. Current methods of video enhancement and upscaling used in film and TV preservation are manual, making them prohibitively expensive and time-consuming. Pixop automates the entire process using proprietary algorithms to improve the perceptual quality of footage while eliminating both complexity and cost. It includes a host of powerful features, including video asset management, storage, video quality analysis, transcoding, a range of share options, and a quality guarantee. Pixop is built on AWS infrastructure and can easily be scaled to accommodate variable workloads and requirements. As things stand, much of the audiovisual artifacts of the 20th and 21st centuries — including reels of beloved film and television — are in danger of being lost due to source degradation and obsolete technology. At Pixop, we believe every story deserves a second screening. We're always on the lookout for more people to join the cause.

Bumbee Labs AB

Bumbee Labs measures visitor flows by capturing anonymous Wi-Fi signals in smart mobile phones and can make measurements in both outdoor and indoor environments. The visitor flows are measured completely anonymously and the measurement method is unique in its kind to have an approval from the Swedish Datainspektionen with GDPR taken into account. By using this method, Bumbee Labs can produce very reliable statistics on how many people visit the measurement area during different time intervals, how long visitors stay in the measurement area and what the most common walking paths are.

Akuret

Akuret is an analytics company that uses proprietary business AI to help retailers and their suppliers identify and fix on-shelf-availability problems that cannot be seen in their current systems due to inventory inaccuracy. Akuret was founded in 2019 by former Massachusetts Institute of Technology colleagues Fredrik Eng Larsson and Daniel Steeneck. Joined by retail experts, Akuret is now a fast growing company on a mission to eliminate bad data, reduce waste, and improve the retail experience.

The Ode To is online art gallery that's creating an affordable, relaxed and modern way of buying art. We are your eyes in the art world, spotting talent and thoughtfully curating a special selection of contemporary pieces. From sculptures and objects to paintings and drawings, we collect and present one-of-kind, original artworks by some of the most talented artists around. Each piece is handmade especially for us. The Ode To was founded 2018 by friends Helena Carlberg and Anna Lukins. We are both passionate collectors of aesthetically pleasing things, sharing an obsession for art and interior. We got tired of our cheap old posters but found art galleries to be intimidating and expensive. So, we ended up spending a lot of time looking for those special pieces in the most peculiar places. This life-long rummaging (as well as our careers in the fashion industry) has really taught us to spot those true treasures, which is reflected in our online gallery. Manna Insect Oy turns biowaste into valuable proteins and bio oils using black soldier fly larvae. We have developed a solution that is easy to move next to bio waste source and operate by anyone and anywhere in the world. Biowaste processing is a global problem and costs are increasing rapidly. Over 70 % of biowaste is not treated, even in western countries. On the other hand demand for high protein feed is increasing as soy and fish meal prices increase. Black soldier fly larvae are nature's most effective food processors. We have harnessed them, made it mobile, automated and scalable. This allows to setup biowaste processing factory quickly anywhere in the world and turn waste into usable protein.

Skyfora

Skyfora is Finnish company developing next-generation weather technology. The StreamSonde is world’s lightest weather sonde and the AI-powered weather forecasts bring solutions to many industries in a world faced with climate change and extreme weather. Skyfora’s high-tech solutions increase the amount of weather and climate change observations and turns that data into better weather and climate forecasts and risk data through artificial intelligence backed up by academic research. We have won the Copernicus Masters innovation competition and our product is sold internationally. The company has several patents, which fuels the company’s giant leap in improving weather forecasting. The team features a unique combination of expertise in atmospheric science, weather instrument engineering, machine learning, fast start-up growth and international sales. Its funders and investors include the European Space Agency, Business Finland, Copernicus Incubation Programme, IoTForge foundation, Voima Ventures, Icebreaker VC and private investors.
