Antagonist

We’re an independent game studio based in Oslo, Norway, which was founded in February 2013 by a group of students at the Norwegian School of Information Technology (NITH). In January 2014 we consisted of 7 members of the team who all have different experiences in their own fields of expertise. Our common goal is that we want to contribute to the indie scene with story-driven games, without compromising the gameplay. Starting up a new company (let alone within gaming) is no joke, and we hope to make it easier for future companies to make games. It’s a small pond, and as soon as we announce our projects, our vision is to have an exposed development during production. So keep an eye on our development blog on our page, or contact us if you want to know anything! We are currently working on a third-person horror game, set in a forest inspired by Norwegian nature.

International Professionals Finland

Many professions in Finland are regulated and those who have been qualified abroad for a profession that is regulated in Finland will need to apply to the relevant authority for a decision on whether or not they are also qualified for the same profession in Finland. Several international professionals living in Finland are either unemployed, underemployed, or working outside the scope of their expertise. This has a negative impact on Finland’s economy as these professionals are unable to use their skills to contribute to the Finnish society. Consequently, the Finnish economy is unable to benefit symbiotically from international talent already living in Finland. Through a diverse range of programs and services, we assist international professionals qualified for a profession abroad to overcome obstacles hindering them from utilizing their skills in Finland. We provide customised support as well as mentorship and networking opportunities. We also offer one-on-one guidance as they take huge career steps toward transitioning into the Finnish workforce and advancing their skillset to contribute to the society they now call home.

Pressurebox

Pressurebox produces reusable Tennis & Padel Ball pressurizers, that restores and maintains the pressure in tennis & padel balls through diffusion. The Problem After only one hour of play, 20% of the pressure in tennis & padel balls disappears - starting when you open the can the balls are bought in. Because of this, hobby players are forced to buy new balls about every 2 times they play. At a higher level, balls are changed multiple times in a single match. This is bad for the wallet, the environment, and your game. The Solution Our innovative, reusable tennis & padel ball tubes automatically stores balls under the correct pressure after every single match, enabling players to play with better balls for many times longer until you decide to replace them. It improves the game, making it more affordable, and reduces plastic & rubber waste from tennis & padel balls. This is actually a big deal, since 350 million tennis balls containing a toxic cocktail of micro plastics are wasted every year, with only 2 % being recycled. The rest of the toxic waste ends up in places such as landfills, or in our oceans. The balls that ends up in nature stays there for 400 years before they break down. This makes tennis and padel two of the dirtiest (and most expensive) sports! Since the greenest ball is the ball that you dont throw away, our solution is a step towards making tennis & padel greener sports in accordance with UN goals 12, 13, 14 & 15. We hope you will join us on this mission!

2Heal Medical

2Heal is developing an app to help people with chronic disease heal and thrive through a new digital health coach service focusing on lifestyle medicine. In Sweden and the western world 50% have a chronic disease, and all chronic diseases are on the rise. Many of these conditions are connected to lifestyle factors. The healthcare system as we know it has a very small chance of curing these conditions. The reason for that is that they are only relieving symptoms, not treating the root cause of the disease. And all experts work separately in silos - no one is taking responsibility for the patient as a whole. We want to change this. With our method we want to find and treat the root cause of every health problem. We do so by a team based structure that uses a 360 degree analysis for all patients with chronic diseases, and by including lifestyle medicine in our treatment, helping them back to a healthy life (many free from medication). Every patient gets a health coach that helps and motivates them with lifestyle changes: nutrition and food, sleep, training, rest and reload and mental health. The program is done through the app and through digitalt meetings. The app is connected to wearables like apple watch or an Oura ring, and the patient logs their health status in a daily journal. A team of doctors, nutritionists and psychologists are ready for those who need extra support. 2Heal Medical was started by doctors that were missing a method to help people with chronic disease get well, heal and stay healthy long term. The system didn't allow them to work with lifestyle changes, there was just no time - or knowledge for this! We have a physical clinic in Stockholm, and are now ready for the next step - help more people to heal!

Spect8

Spect8 is a norwegian tech startup with a mission to help sports organizations, pro-athletes and sponsors that don’t have enough time, capacity, or the necessary skills to reach their potential in growing fan engagement and commercial value. Due to the power of association among consumers, brands allocate an increasing amount of their advertising budgets towards sports teams and athletes. To measure the value of a sponsorship, sponsors rely on manual measurements and expensive consulting services. At the same time, athletes, clubs, and federations are left with few resources to decide what their commercial value is, and often forfeit revenue (and funding for their sport) by underselling their commercial value. To solve this problem, we have developed a tool called Foqus. Foqus is an easy-to-use machine learning tool created for sports teams and individual athletes to determine their commercial value for sponsorships, and for brands to manage and measure multiple agreements. We are currently working with Norsk Toppfotball, sports associations, clubs and and several brands, and are off to a good start to reach our goal of creating a new industry standard for how sponsorship value is created, measured, and driven. The existing team consists of three business developers with expertise in strategy, marketing, sponsorship, data and analysis. In addition, we have associated development teams with both front-end, back-end and database expertise. We have recently become a part of StartupLab's Accelerator program, are supported by Innovation Norway and have ambitions to scale our business both nationally and internationally in the coming years. We therefore wish to expand our team with a skilled developer who also wants to make a professional career as an entrepreneur. The CTO will have the overall responsibility for the further development and scaling of our core product, Foqus, as well as the development of new tools and concepts going forward.
