Steerpath

Steerpath is a Finnish startup solving global challenge of optimising benefits of hybrid working for both employee and the company. Our hybrid workplace application helps employees & companies get maximum out of multi-location working. We have built a mobile app where employees can easily see when to visit the office or stay remote based on their favourite colleague work plans and available capacity of meeting rooms, it can guide you around a space if you are new to the space via indoor maps, and much more. For managers we provide analytics of what spaces are being used, so they can develop their spaces in an optimal way. We have also developed an internal venture under a different brand called Spacehub, which are small pods you can book for working in shopping centres and similar. Customers are typically larger companies from 1000+ employees, with majority Headquartered in Finland, but we also have customers in the UK and US. In the future we will be focusing on the Nordic market, because in the Nordic culture there is trend to focus more on employee satisfaction. Our solution is already used by some of the largest and most well known brands in the Nordics, such as Finlands largest commercial TV broadcaster MTV. Steerpath was founded in 2013 by Mikko, Tuomas and Sam, all sharing a long history with several decades of experience in all aspects of product development, Bluetooth and other wireless technologies. Our team has since grown to now 15 people of different background and nationalities. Our office is in Alberga Business Park next to Sello in Leppävaara, easy to reach with public transport (15 minutes from city centre), and we have a very nice setup with a small living room in the middle. We have been able to bring together different strengths to deliver a solution our customers love and we are very excited to bare witness to some of the innovations that have already come out from the collaboration. We are a very friendly group who enjoy hanging out and do things together, we also have small events, board games nights, summer party and more. We have a start-up environment in our small team, and support a hybrid work model with the flexibility to work partially remote. We do recommend people to come to the office at least 2 days per week, as you will work closely with other members of the company, and this is the best way to get to know your colleagues. The rest of the team prefer coming in most days, and we even have colleagues stopping by during their holidays to say hi to the team, borrow tools, and other things, and that really says it all.

It is build to give the power of choice to customer, so they can make an informed decisions when they select a supermarket for their shopping. Every consumer or household has unique needs and that’s exactly is the cornerstone of viSave solution. We have successfully launched the beta-product in Denmark. We have added 5-major supermarkets for customers to choose from. The vision is to integrate viSave with all supermarkets and provide a seamless experience to customers - from comparing prices all the way to placing order directly from super-markets portal. viSave is build on state-of-art modern cloud infrastructure and uses latest technology-stack which ensures the application is robust, easily scalable and highly-available. The team works 100% remote and has years of experience in building IT solutions with an ultimate ambition to solve an existing problem or just make things simpler in our daily lives !!

Personally, I have been intrigued by the devices and the invisible fields that connect us all since I was much younger. KARL

An AI-driven calendar framework for farmers, available as an app or API. Our tech is designed to optimize farming schedules without the need for farmers to consult weather forecasts or other decision support tools. Through the use of satellite-based local weather and soil data, along with our proprietary database of agronomic parameters, our algorithms are able to calculate the ideal time to conduct a range of farming tasks, for a variety of crops and soil types. These include harvesting, tilling, seeding, spraying and more. We work with space tech from ESA, the latest AWS cloud technologies like Lambda and DynamoDB, Python for most of our API backend, and Golang for our math-heavy algorithms.

ProTag AS

ProTag is building a Digital Product Passport platform that helps manufacturers and product owners manage and share product data across their supply chains. We solve the growing challenge of fragmented, unstructured information by combining a network-driven SaaS platform with AI that turns messy supplier data into structured, usable product intelligence. Across industries, a new reality is emerging: products are no longer just physical objects, they are data assets. To sell, operate, and scale, companies need reliable information about what goes into their products, where it comes from, and how it evolves over time. The problem is that this data does not exist in one place. It is scattered across suppliers, stored in PDFs, buried in emails, or locked inside disconnected systems. Most companies today are trying to manage this with spreadsheets and manual processes. That might work internally, but it breaks down completely across a supply chain. This creates a structural problem: • Companies depend on data they do not own • Suppliers struggle to provide consistent information • Teams spend significant time chasing, cleaning, and validating data At the same time, external pressure is increasing.
