Supercharging database performance to reduce server costs & server energy consumption. Vesiro is an early-stage startup that is developing an add-on to Elasticsearch to enable much better search performance. The product is in part based on our novel, patented search algorithms. Initial tests on data from Common Crawl (which is the same data used to train ChatGPT) shows that we can cut search times in Elasticsearch by 30-50% depending on search type used. The increase in search speed means that our software enables a more efficient use of servers in Elastic clusters, helping our customers save money on servers. It also means that the software reduces server energy consumption as fewer servers are needed to do the same amount of search. Vesiro was one of 20 companies to be accepted among 2500 companies applying globally to participate in the Norrsken Accelerator 2023. Upotential is a place where you train your mental skills to improve performance and mental wellbeing together with other people from all over the world. Upotential was founded 2019 in Sweden by Marianne 'Maja' Marescotti, a former elite tennis player, and Catrin Eriksson, an Ironman finisher. Maja and Catrin felt that something was off in the discussions around mental health. Instead of focusing on what can be done proactively to avoid mental health problems, too much focus had been put on reactive treatment. The Danish jewellery brand Vibe Harsløf has existed since 2008. Vibe Harsløf is known for its imaginative and elegant jewellery which today is sold in Copenhagen, Paris, London and Tokyo. Among other things, she has made jewellery in collaboration with Wood Wood, Soulland, Ann Sofie Madsen and most recently the designer Astrid Andersen.

Simplewire is a young but fast growing hardware startup, trying to solve a problem as old as electricity itself. As you might know, all buildings contain a myriad of electrical installations, which must be marked according to their point of origin. The process is called marking. Today, it is done manually with thousands and thousands of labels on wires, sockets, lamp sockets and junction boxes. Marking costs an enormous amount of labor time in planning and execution, and is virtually impossible to do correctly, as human error is inevitable. That leads to poor marking, which is a huge concern for building owners. Simplewire is a digital system that's installed at the switchboard. ASK modulated signals are transmitted on the wires, and can be picked up wirelessly by our reader device. Doing it the old way, with labels, would have taken months and months to complete, and even longer in old buildings, if at all possible. With Simplewire, a whole building's electrical installation can be mapped 100% correctly, in less than an hour, and with no needed maintenance.
