We have invented an effective trap for long tailed silverfish, a pest spreading rapidly between houses all over Norway and northern Europe. The traps are effective for months, can be reused, and only biodegradable, non-toxic lure is used. We developed this trap as we found it to be more effective than glue traps in most cases, it doesn't need additional lure to trap this species of silverfish, doesn't need frequent replacement, kills insects instantly, you don't see dust and dead insects inside the trap, and traps are solid and can handle humid and wet conditions. We sell traps to consumers and businesses in Norway on our webpage and through resellers in other countries.

Kinera's Fast Fix technology addresses the need for more efficient no-dig repair and rehabilitation techniques for large-diameter pipe infrastructures. The problem:The easiest pollution to clean up, is what's on the surface. Lost fishing gear is hidden on the bottom. Hundreds of thousands of crab- and lobster traps are lost every years. In the Florida Keys alone an estimated 100 000 traps are lost every yearCaptured animals starve to death, and become bait for others to follow. Lost traps thus become endless killing machines at a severe societal and environmental cost. Over time traps also start dissolving, releasing microplastics into the ocean, working its way into the food chain and polluting our seafood. The solution:ResqUnit is a device that's mounted on top of a trap or a pot. If the trap is left under water for a longer period of time, ResqUnit activates and floats to the surface. Thus enabling you to retrieve it.We are hoping to raise awareness so that anyone who sees the unique floating device, will either pull up the equipment or report it's location. That way everybody can do their part keeping the oceans cleaner and stop the unnecessary killing of sea life.

The repair will be performed inside the patented Habitat - allowing for composite repairs subsea and in the splash zone while offering quality as if the repair was performed in a laboratory environment. The Oktapous will offer the client around 50% cost reduction, together with improved quality and significantly reduced HSE risk compare to existing solutions by removing the need for rope access, divers, and ROVs. Kongsberg Ferrotech is partly funded by the Malaysian-based oil and gas company, Petronas Charigali. This ensures us access to the market needs during development, an offshore platform for prototype testing, and the critical first client for market acceptance.
