Vocaire

Vocaire is a startup that focuses on empowering physical therapists with AI technologies. The problem we are solving is that PTs cannot be 100% present during their consultation since they have to focus on administrative work and other tasks. The founders of our startup are previous elite sportsmen who experienced firsthand the inefficiencies of the current system. Physical therapy is a crucial part of the recovery process for many individuals who have experienced injuries or other physical limitations. However, the current system is highly inefficient and often requires PTs to spend a significant amount of time on administrative tasks. For example, PTs may have to spend time scheduling appointments, documenting patient progress, and communicating with other healthcare providers. This leaves less time for PTs to focus on their patients and provide the best possible care. At Vocaire, we believe that technology can help alleviate this problem. By leveraging AI and other advanced technologies, we aim to streamline administrative tasks and give PTs more time to focus on their patients. Overall, we believe that Vocaire has the potential to significantly improve the efficiency and effectiveness of physical therapy. By leveraging AI and other advanced technologies, we aim to empower PTs to provide the best possible care to their patients. Updropp

Updropp wants to transform electronic waste into resources. We do this by enabling citizens to get rid of their electronic devices, especially household equipment, in an easy and responsible manner, so they can be sent back into the flow. This is done through our "Uptainers", conveniently placed outdoor drop-off stations. At the Uptainers, citizens are able to place electronics, they no longer use, while running their daily errands. Other citizens can then use the Uptainer to find "new" electronics they can take home and give new life. To support the Uptainers, we are developing an application, that shows an overview of Uptainers and the items placed in them and gives the users statistics showing their personal impact as well as the combined impact. Updropp is a one-person startup, being developed with ongoing help from advisors, collaborators, and interns. We are still in the discovery/product development phase. Right now we have a BETA version of our Uptainer placed at Det Bæredygtige Forsamlingshus, and are using this to gather insight for our 1.0 design of the Uptainer. We expect that to be ready for launch in primo 2024.

Chargo

Chargo er en «bysykkelløsning for powerbanks». Tjenesten lanseres i Oslo i samarbeid med Telenor og baserer seg på utleiebare powerbanks, slik at kunder kan lade mobiltelefoner på farten. Systemet fungerer likt bysykler, hvor kunden kan leie en powerbank fra et nettverk av ladestasjoner via vår app. Ladestasjonene vil bli plassert i kiosker, barer, cafeer, restauranter, museer, osv. Vårt mål er at en Chargo stasjon alltid skal være i nærheten, og håper at folk vil ta i bruk tjenesten på lik linje med Voi og Lime. Å bidra til utformingen av det visuelle ved tjenesten kan derfor være et godt bidrag til en personlig portofolio!

We have developed a camera-based sensor for 24h automatic sea lice counting and biomass measurement. Our product solves the main challenges in high contrast underwater imagery of sea lice with deficient maintenance. We are looking for funding to take the effect to the next level, where approval of our solution in the industry and by authorities are key factors as well as the development of the organization.
