From its start in 2017 Elderlearn struggled to find a relevant IT-system for the administration of these matches and ended up developing an IT-system in-house. This worked well but was expensive to maintain. NGOs started asking if they could buy access to Elderlearns system. This inspired us to get funding from The Danish Innovation Fund (5 million DKK in 2021) to build a Software as a Service tool for NGOs working with matching.
