Grocemania

Grocemania believes it should be easy to order groceries online from any independent and chain store and get the order delivered in minutes without spending extra. Grocemania aims to disrupt the current online marketplace by delivering from local grocery stores, straight to the doorstep in as little as one hour with only £2.50 'Delivery Fee'. Since 2001 there have been a high number of online marketplaces & last mile logistic services such as JustEat and Deliveroo in the UK's fast food and restaurant market. However, we believe there has never been such services in the grocery industry before. Currently, some of the most popular options start with £40 'min order' for 1-hour slot deliveries plus an additional delivery fee.   Grocemania believes it should be easy to order groceries online from any independent and chain store and get the order delivered in minutes without spending extra. With, over 20 local and chain shops live now in Surrey and have achieved 60% MoM Customer Growth in our first five months, the team are now raising to expand activities across London.   Our platform allows customers to browse and buy from local stores online at any time and have it delivered by local couriers. Unlike some of the existing delivery options, we have dozens of local shops in one app, only £10 'minimum order' and a £2.50 Delivery Fee option.

Folq er en transparent og selvbetjent markedsplass som kobler kvalitetssikrede konsulenter med konsulentkjøpere. I dag primært innen IT. Kunder får øyeblikkelig oversikt over kvalifiserte og tilgjengelige konsulenter, og kan kontakte relevante kandidater direkte. Vi ønsker å bygge den prefererte markedsplassen for konsulenter på tvers av nivå, geografi og bransje. Eller bare å lage den diggeste måten å være og å kjøpe konsulenter på. For at våre brukere kan fokusere på det som skaper verdi, automatiserer vi administrative oppgaver og forenkler hele bookingprosessen fra A til Å. Teamet vårt på tolv er balansert med tanke på bakgrunn, alder, personlighet og kjønn. Vi ser på oss selv som ambisiøse og kompetente med åpne sinn. Diskusjoner og meninger oppfordres og er ønskelig, før vi tar en beslutning og gjennomfører dette raskt. Vi legger til rette for å kunne jobbe fokusert med høy hastighet, og med det holde tiden i møter til et minimum. Utover å spise lunsj sammen daglig (i en av Oslos beste kantiner), har vi månedlige middager og andre sosiale happenings. Som en del av Folq arrangerer vi også faglige og sosiale meetups hvor konsulenter på plattformen inviteres inn.

Making online payments and transactions simple for unbanked.In Europe, E-commerce companies and consumers can't make online transactions with people in emerging countries because they don't cater for mobile money which causes a mismatch of payment methods.PayQin is an e-wallet app designed for emerging countries, connected to a physical/virtual debit card that accepts local payment method.

Elderlearn

There are too many lonely elderly people and it is too difficult to learn Danish as a foreigner.We solve these two problems by arranging for foreigners, learning Danish, to visit elderly Danes. The foreigner comes to the home of the Dane once a week, They learn Danish by having a normal conversation with the elderly.Municipalities pay us for bettering their activation of the elderly and their integration of foreigners. Currently I, Andreas, is the only one working at Elderlearn. I am however sitting in offices with other start-ups with whom I always have lunch with. I find lunch to be a crucial part of the day and always take at least half an hour free to eat and talk with the others in the office.I love playing board games, eating good food and meeting new people. If you join the team you will be a big part of shaping the office culture, and I will look very much forward to finding my first colleague.Since I am moving to another start-up office soon, the below images show some of the foreigners and elderly I have introduced to each other. They do still give a good impression of why, how, and what we do here at Elderlearn.
