Bransjeekspert Yngvar Andreassen hadde tilbake i 2017 en teori om at man ved å digitalisere gjestereisen på restaurant kunne øke omsetningen med 20 %, og redusere kostnadene tilsvarende. Dette var som musikk i ørene på Jørn Bertelsen som oppnådde denne type resultater i et pilotprosjekt på Lekter´n på Aker Brygge våren 2018 – og som har analysert tall i bransjen i over 20 år. Det er en etablert sannhet at det er irriterende for gjester å vente på å bestille, betale og påkalle oppmerksomheten til servitørene. Payrest er en løsning for dette. Det som ikke like kjent at mange restauranter sliter med et høyt kostnadsnivå, og noe av grunnen til dette er at personalet bruker opptil 30% av arbeidstiden sin på å betjene systemer. Vi løser dette gjennom Payrest ved at gjestene selv registrerer bestillingen og betalingen på sin egen mobiltelefon. Dette gir deg som restaurantdriver muligheten til å bruke mer tid på servering og service! Biozep is discovering and developing first-in-class drug products for the treatment of severe eye diseases which can lead to vision loss and where it is a high unmet medical need. Biozep has discovered novel drug substances based on bioactive lipids which modulate central pathways involved in the pathogenesis of eye diseases. Targets and biomarkers are identified based on a system biology approach combined with in-depth knowledge about bioactive lipids, their endogenous synthesis and mechanisms of action. Biozep has made a prototype drug product based on our lead compound for topical administration and the product will be tested in animal models in 2018. Our goal is to start clinical studies in 2020. Biozep is a company depending on both internal and external resources. Biozep has established its own laboratory in Oslo in order to do synthesis, purification, quality control and chemical development in-house. The biological testing of the drug substances is performed in collaboration with carefully selected contract research organizations both in Europe and the USA. In order to reach the market as fast as possible and to reduce risk, Biozep will seek strategic partnerships early in the drug development phase. Biozep seeks partners with complementary competence and with resources to conduct clinical trials and with market access. We are already in dialogue with potential partners and hope to sign an agreement in 2018-19.

Nordic Electrofuel offers a solution for the rapid transition from fossil to renewable electrical energy for all transport sectors. It is based on the conversion of renewable electric energy into liquid electro-fuels that can be as easily transported, stored, and used as conventional fossil hydrocarbons. It also provides a good solution to distribute and store stranded electrical energy. PTL (Power To Liquid) has been considered too expensive, but with the low electricity price in Norway and new efficient processing and upgrading solutions, it has become commercially feasible. Electrification of transportation is required to avoid catastrophic climate change. Battery- or cable-electric solutions are not feasible for transport like aviation and long-distance marine transport. Liquid energy carriers such as biofuels are desperately needed but limited. The fuel is free of sulfur and can therefore be used maritime industry as a fuel after 2022. The fuel emits much fewer particles and aromatics than conventional fossil fuel, so it also solves the local pollution problem. Competitive advantages: • Norway’s low electricity price from hydro and lately also wind power. • 20 - 30 % lower electricity consumption than with existing technology • Lower production price than advanced biofuels • Agreements in place for a site at Herøya, which has all utilities (cooling water, cheap renewable electricity, etc.) and processing expertise available. • About the same source to shaft efficiency as hydrogen, but with much lower total CAPEX due to no investment in distribution systems and engines.
