In many areas of the building, it is done in the same way as 20 years ago. Despite all this, the need for reliable power is bigger than ever and continues to grow every year. While the demand is growing, the existing power grid is deteriorating. Our products will make building new powerlines safer, and cheaper and will deliver less environmental damage. Combined with hardware products, software, and AI we make optimized solutions for the future building of energy distribution. We are starting to test products this summer, get confirmation from customers and continue to build product this fall. We enable the green shift to happen in new markets! TioTech is a Norwegian producer of titania (TiO2) nanomaterials and a developer of titania-based technology. We know how to optimise the production process and properties of titania nanoparticles. After successfully developing and commercialising a series of photocatalytic surface treatment products (www.joma-int.com), we are directing our R&D efforts towards a new area; the use of titania as anode-material in Lithium-ion batteries (LIB). A battery with our material on the anode will charge faster, last longer, be safer and tolerate temperature variation better than conventional batteries which have graphite on the anode, and outcompete LTO-batteries on capacity. The development work takes place in our in-house laboratory in Bergen, where our dedicated team (Hjørdis, Marthe, Rob, Anders) play around with titania, giving life to innovative solutions.
