Biozep is discovering and developing first-in-class drug products for the treatment of severe eye diseases which can lead to vision loss and where it is a high unmet medical need. Biozep has discovered novel drug substances based on bioactive lipids which modulate central pathways involved in the pathogenesis of eye diseases. Targets and biomarkers are identified based on a system biology approach combined with in-depth knowledge about bioactive lipids, their endogenous synthesis and mechanisms of action. Biozep has made a prototype drug product based on our lead compound for topical administration and the product will be tested in animal models in 2018. Our goal is to start clinical studies in 2020. Biozep is a company depending on both internal and external resources. Biozep has established its own laboratory in Oslo in order to do synthesis, purification, quality control and chemical development in-house. The biological testing of the drug substances is performed in collaboration with carefully selected contract research organizations both in Europe and the USA. In order to reach the market as fast as possible and to reduce risk, Biozep will seek strategic partnerships early in the drug development phase. Biozep seeks partners with complementary competence and with resources to conduct clinical trials and with market access. We are already in dialogue with potential partners and hope to sign an agreement in 2018-19.

Unite Global AS

We provide the banking network, messaging, settlement, and cash management solutions to meet any bank’s requirements. We are based in Fredrikstad, Norway, where UNITE evolved as a correspondent hub for banks, but our origin is global, developed over years in international banking centers. We have studied other initiatives over the years and learned that the third-party philosophy of trying to bolt-on smart software to multiple bank accounts is less than ideal. A holistic revolution was required to deliver a cross-border payments solution fit for banks in the 21st century.

IC Technology AS

ICT is a Norwegian technology development company that holds patents designed to bring new opportunities to the cryogenic liquids storage and transportation sectors via unique containers. The design targets the market for both large- and small-scale cryogenic applications. ICT’s solution is modular and suited for onshore as well as maritime use. The development of hydrogen infrastructure is slow and holding back widespread adoption. Transportation of large volumes is one of the major challenges that IC Technologies is determined to solve. Another challenge is the storage of liquid hydrogen. Current storage solutions resemble enlarged thermos flasks, and the hydrogen inside gradually evaporates over time. Our vision is a decarbonized world with green hydrogen as a major energy carrier.

Kongsberg Ferrotech AS

Based in Kongsberg - the heart of the Subsea Valley - Kongsberg Ferrotech is utilizing world-leading competence to develop the first-ever automated solution, the Oktapous, for riser cleaning, NDT inspection, maintenance (coating), and structural repair (glass/carbon fiber reinforcement). The repair will be performed inside the patented Habitat - allowing for composite repairs subsea and in the splash zone while offering quality as if the repair was performed in a laboratory environment. The Oktapous will offer the client around 50% cost reduction, together with improved quality and significantly reduced HSE risk compare to existing solutions by removing the need for rope access, divers, and ROVs. Kongsberg Ferrotech is partly funded by the Malaysian-based oil and gas company, Petronas Charigali. This ensures us access to the market needs during development, an offshore platform for prototype testing, and the critical first client for market acceptance. Schedule highlights: • Development started in September 2015 • Stack-up/dry test in December 2017 • TRL4 testing submerged in February 2018 • Offshore testing on Petronas assets in Q3 2018 • Commercial operations in Q2-3 2019

Reselo

Although society aims at replacing fossil resources with sustainable, renewable alternatives, the production of many materials like plastics and rubbers are still very dependent on fossil fuels. To replace petrol-based rubbers in consumer products, we developed a process to transform birch bark, an abundant residue of the global forestry industry, into the novel biomaterial, Reselo Rubber. Based on a comprehensive material characterisation and encouraging feedback from customers we believe that Reselo Rubber has great potential to replace fossil-derived rubbers in applications like footwear, protective gear, playground flooring and toys.

Today we are the largest car sharing company in the Nordics with over 1600 shared cars. Quick and seamless customer journey With just one app, you can book, unlock and settle the car rental - without ever having to wait in line to pick up your car. Toll, fuel, and rental prices are automatically calculated in real time, providing you with a complete overview and eliminating time spent on administration and settlement. Our vehicles are always available and our mission is to never be more than 5 minutes away from where you are. The fleet of cars is owned and operated by Hyre witch gives us complete control over the customer journey to ensure predictable and safe access to modern cars at competitive prices. We believe in a future of shared, self-driving electric cars because: 1. The car itself changes. Today's cars are connected to the internet, enabling more efficient car sharing. Furthermore, the car is now electric and in due time it will be self-driven. 2. Demographics are changing. The car is no longer an important status symbol, and Hyre sees that today's youth do not want to own a car. People want simplicity, flexibility, and freedom. 3. Sustainability is a requirement. The way we move today is not sustainable. Even with electric cars, densification in the largest cities will force alternative solutions in people transport.
