THIRDROOM APS har spillet en central rolle i at fremme samarbejde mellem universiteter og virksomheder i Danmark. Vores langvarige samarbejde med RUC om en projektplatform har givet værdifuld støtte til over 1700 forskere og studerende siden 2017. Vi har også betydelig erfaring med at facilitere åben innovation og samarbejde, herunder vores arbejde med Novozymes fra 2019 til 2022 gennem HelloScience.io, hvor vi hjalp over 70 startups, organisationer og virksomheder. Disse initiativer har dannet grundlag for udviklingen af Thirdroom Funding Platform i 2024, hvor vi samarbejder med Venture Cup, IDEON i Sverige og Senpage, en organisation af unge entreprenører. I 2023 udviklede vi en AI og NLP-løsning til universiteterne, som har beriget over 10.000 open access-artikler og matcher dem i realtid til projekter og startups. Vi har også opdaget, at samme teknologi kan bruges til at matche legater fra over 100 forskellige fonde i Danmark i realtid med mere end 500 startups, SMV'er og forskningsprojekter. Vores konkurrenter inkluderer Grant Compas og HeyFunding, men deres tilgange mangler AI match-making, og vi ser dem derfor som potentielle samarbejdspartnere.

To achieve GDPR compliance an organisation must have a complete overview of and control of the personal data which they control. This is often done in an ineffective manner with manual processes. Unstructured personal data is often generated ad-hoc and stored randomly across a wide variety of IT systems. Very often this creates large amounts of non-compliant personal data and hinder organisations responding to access and delete request and achieving a GDPR compliance. 3: The How: Describe how your startup is solving this Phinder Compliance Center is “plug and play” and supports images, text documents, videos and e-mails. We aim to provide the customer with a simple result which quickly give them an overview and clear understanding of how to improve their compliance level. We started FÆRM in 2020 with the goal of making amazing plant-based cheese. To do that, we use traditional cheese production methods, locally sourced proteins and science combined with a whole lotta love. The problem that we’re solving is twofold. First and foremost conventional cheese has one of the highest carbon footprints in the food industry, with higher emissions than both chicken and pork. Secondly, the plant-based alternatives to cheese that do exist on the market generally fall short on both taste and texture, providing little incentive for consumers to make climate friendly choices. Who Are We? VivoLogica is Europe’s top 3 MedTech startups on a journey to digitalize the workflow within the medical research industry. We have developed a system that helps medical researchers to save time - time that instead can be used to save lives. Why & How? VivoLogica was founded in Stockholm in 2019 by the cancer researcher Sara Mangsbo. She realised that she and her colleagues spend up to half of their working time on manual and recurring tasks. Together with the innovation initiative Hidden Dreams, the entrepreneur and investor Saeid Esmaeilzadeh and our Advisory Board, VivoLogica has now developed a digital and user-friendly system supporting medical researchers with data compilation, reporting to authorities and to be compliance with regulations in accordance with current legislation. By automating all manual and time-consuming tasks VivoLogica reduces administration overhead time by 75% - time that now can be spent on value-creating research that moves medical development forward and saves lives.

More than 40% of the electrical energy in office environments is used outside working hours. CO2 in buildings has too high a level, which gives sick employees and students who lose 12% of their learning ability. Ventilation is often oversized by 10-20% due to uncertainty about CO2 levels, which have not been adequately investigated and measured. Often, consulting firms offer a measurement over 30 days. The measurements are only a snapshot of the real picture, which does not take into account the season and number of people in the room. VOCs in buildings are more harmful than first thought. VOC combined with too high CO2 can cause allergic reactions and over time develop asthma. The solution for reducing electricity consumption is to use intelligent automation and with behavior control. A sensor can be set up in areas that are used that automatically turn on the light when there is a person present. Several companies offer this solution, but if it is to be used for something, the devices must send data to the central server, after which you can analyze when and how much. The data set provides better management and control. For the CO2 problem, sensors are set up in the premises. The problem with existing sensors on the market is they have to be mounted with cable that is led maybe 100m away to a central box. It is both expensive and often not without surprises, especially for older buildings where drawings are often not updated. Sawux solves several of the mentioned problems. Sawux is a combination of 5 sensors in the same unit that measure and operate wirelessly. The sensors have access to a Cloud server, where data is collected every minute. Then data can be analyzed and given a real picture over time, which forms the basis for the right decision and correct ventilation systems. Sawux fits into existing 230V electrical environment and does not require cabling, boxes, battery or external power supplies. Sawux connects to the Internet via standard WiFi, which is found in all modern buildings. Sawux's solution is very cost effective and user friendly which is able to provide valid data. The Sawux system comes with an app. and web based energy management system, where you can at any time perform analysis of the building completely at the contact level.
