We enable the green shift to happen in new markets! TioTech is a Norwegian producer of titania (TiO2) nanomaterials and a developer of titania-based technology. We know how to optimise the production process and properties of titania nanoparticles. After successfully developing and commercialising a series of photocatalytic surface treatment products (www.joma-int.com), we are directing our R&D efforts towards a new area; the use of titania as anode-material in Lithium-ion batteries (LIB). A battery with our material on the anode will charge faster, last longer, be safer and tolerate temperature variation better than conventional batteries which have graphite on the anode, and outcompete LTO-batteries on capacity. The development work takes place in our in-house laboratory in Bergen, where our dedicated team (Hjørdis, Marthe, Rob, Anders) play around with titania, giving life to innovative solutions.

Around 54% of cars sold in Norway were Electric in 2020 and this is increasing on monthly basis. This trend of Electric Vehicles (EVs) in our society is rapidly increasing globally, while in the EU many countries have now adopted ambitious targets for further expansion of electric mobility. However, the availability of public charging points is not growing at the same speed. According to IEA, 87% of global EV charge points are installed in private locations and are not accessible to the public. We have invented an effective trap for long tailed silverfish, a pest spreading rapidly between houses all over Norway and northern Europe. The traps are effective for months, can be reused, and only biodegradable, non-toxic lure is used. We developed this trap as we found it to be more effective than glue traps in most cases, it doesn't need additional lure to trap this species of silverfish, doesn't need frequent replacement, kills insects instantly, you don't see dust and dead insects inside the trap, and traps are solid and can handle humid and wet conditions. We sell traps to consumers and businesses in Norway on our webpage and through resellers in other countries.
