DoMore Diagnostics is on a mission to transform cancer diagnostics with artificial intelligence to improve patient care and make drug development more effective. We use state-of-the-art methods to improve patients’ quality of life and help clinicians make more informed decisions. Our technology is based on pioneering research on utilizing artificial intelligence to increase the prognostic value from routine clinical pathology cancer tissue samples. The extensive research conducted at top universities (University in Oslo, Oxford University and University College of London) has been published in leading and high impact scientific journals such as The Lancet and Nature Reviews Cancer. These new methods have resulted in fully automated histotyping that provide objective and precise prognostic information that correlate and out-perform existing markers. This novel histotyping can guide selection of therapy to avoid over- and undertreatment. It can also make cancer drug development more effective by ensuring more precise diagnosis and prognosis, which is the fundament for precision medicine. Artificial intelligence is set for a breakthrough in medicine and several megatrends are pushing for new solutions in cancer diagnostics. Digital pathology and new AI algorithms will play a significant role in the future of medicine and hold multiple commercial opportunities. DoMore Diagnostics is at the forefront of the field and will bring these next generation products to the clinic.

Smartsky AS is a young, innovative and exciting tech start-up invested in the technological development of smart cities and communities. Since our establishment in 2020, we have achieved great results in a short time, securing various projects and funding. To date, we are 8 team members working in close collaboration with our Norwegian and Finnish tech partners actively developing tech solutions for smart cities.

Orixe solves the problem of counterfeit parts (pirate products) and supply chain uncertainty across multiple industries. This problem with counterfeit parts and false certificates is especially prevalent in the aerospace, automotive and electronics industry, but can be said to be a cross-industry problem. Counterfeit parts create problems for producers such as faulty products (as seen in the cases Fake medical masks, Samsung Galaxy Note 7, or the Takata airbags), but also that goods do not adhere to regulations such as REACH and RoHS or comply with quality requirements. Companies risk severe financial damage such as: - loss in sales, - not meeting quality standards, - lawsuits and - lost reputation. The Orixe Platform has been developed in close cooperation with out pilot customer within the defense- and aerospace industry to solve the cross-industry problem of counterfeit parts. Orixe ensures integrity and transparency by tracing components country of origin and their adherance to regulations, i.e REACH and RoHS. The solution is a new way of combining database and blockchain that effectively and securely tracks transactions between companies. This creates a secure image of the supply chain which raises effectivity in quality- and supplier assurance. To make it easier for our customers to be sure of their suppliers quality standards and reduce time and effort spent on quality assurance, Orixe is also providing a solution that automates the process of auditing suppliers. Orixe is a company that is devoted to creating a more sustainable future. Many of the global challenges that we face today such as pollution, corruption and modern slavery are hidden i dark supply chains. By providing a solution that makes supply chains transparent we reduce the risk of unethical behavior within the supply chain, and help companies to fulfill the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Why should the sick patient travel and wait, to see the healthy doctor? We use new technology to reintroduce the doctor house call, offering a platform to connect patients with doctors in the same area. Patients can see a qualified doctor in the comfort of their home, when it suits them. Doctors can manage their own time, and have the admin support they need to focus their time on the patients. Hjemmelegene opened for patient visits in the summer of 2017, and has experienced strong traction from customers already, and major media attention from leading newspapers in Norway such as VG, Dagbladet and Finansavisen. The team consists of of seven entrepreneurs with broad medical, design, IT and business experience, and a proven record with stellar companies such as kolonial.no and Nabobil.

At Counting Hero we develop cutting edge machine vision systems, capable of recognizing and classifying items and events in videos and images. Counting Hero AS was established in September 2019 and is currently running development projects. We have our first pilots in deployment. Organization count 3 persons. One on full time and two on part time. For 2020 we will grow the organization and to complete first investment round. We are currently funded by sales, innovation norway support, project grant from the norwegian research council and sweat equity from owners. Counting Hero is located with offices in Bergen, Norway. In 2019 IBA Norway, together with IBA Ethiopia Center for Innovation; Ministry of Innovation & Technology, Ethiopia; African Union and Foreign Ministry of Norway via Royal Norwegian Embassy in Addis Ababa organised a very successful first pan-African Innovation Week, a platform to bridge the gap between innovation & investment so as to build the future leaders of Africa. AIW is determined to move Africa forward towards an inclusive & prosperous continent led by technology. 2nd edition of AIW is scheduled from 26.10 to 31.10 at the African Union HQ in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
