BRGN AS

The Norwegian fashion brand BRGN was founded in 2015 by Ros-Mari Tobiassen Gaundal and Karine Trellevik Lunde. Their mission is to offer great alternatives to the traditional all-weather jacket, through high-quality garments and shoes that can be worn on any occasion and in any kind of weather. Their technical and waterproof products, designed for a functional and urban lifestyle, are now sold by over a hundred retailers in Norway, Germany, France, and the UK in addition to their two concept stores in Oslo and Bergen. BRGN set a new turnover record in 2021, at 25.8 MNOK. Up from 16. MNOK in 2020.

We enable the guilt-free consumption of any home and personal care product, free from single-use plastics – a problem that today dumps at least 1 garbage truck’s worth of plastic waste into the ocean every minute of every day. We worked with award winning international design studio Form Us With Love to design beautiful, refillable containers that can be re-used over and over again for years to come. We deliver and pick up these containers right at your doorstep to make shopping more convenient, affordable and sustainable. Today we are live across Norway, selling known and beloved brands like home cleaning brands like Jif, Zalo, Omo and Klar. We will soon expand to more of the brands and products you love. Our vision is to make zero-waste living easy and accessible for every individual in the Nordics within the next five years. SynPlan

SynPlan is an Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) solution to help healthcare organisations optimise workforce planning. SynPlan helps collect large amounts of data from a variety of sources, including internal (payroll, accounting,..) and external (weather,…) systems. Having this data presented on a dashboard allows healthcare leaders to get a holistic view of their organization in real-time, instead of waiting for their subordinates to collect data from multiple departments, which might take weeks to months. SynPlan uses advanced Artificial Intelligence technology to predict in advance the demand of healthcare as well as the absence of employees. The healthcare planners can adjust their plans, moving the right resources to where or when it needed the most. By using SynPlan, healthcare leaders can focus their time and energy on patient care rather than planning, improving both the well-being of patients and employees while keeping their SynPlan has a mission to ensure a better life for all healthcare workers and increase the quality of healthcare services. Light Bikes AS

We offer a unique opportunity to rent an electric bike via an app. The bike is designed to be safe, simple and efficient for all users. With our system we can control where the bikes must be parked, so that it does not hinder pedestrians or riders. This is called HUB/geo fence, which is both flexible and tidy. We are the first in the market with this idea for electric bike rentals run by local founders from Oslo. Our goal is to create a web of transport connected to all districts in Oslo. This is something we can achieve, because we already have good relations with the urban environment agency, as well as a couple of districts that are interested in this transport opportunity .

Songpark shall be the "Worldwide preferred solution for online musical collaboration!" Songpark is an Oslo-based company founded in 2018 by musician and computer technician Christian Ruud. The company has grown fast and is now the "most promising creative-tech startup in Norway". Musicians and investors all believe in our vision: To create an online musical community and to make it possible to play together at a distance. We are developing a solution (HW+SW) enabling musicians to play together online in real time at disparate locations. Our solution has been tested between different locations for up to 500 km. – and it works!

The Norwegian camping industry has however an old-fashioned reputation and is very ripe for development. The majority of Norwegian campsites are family businesses, with limited capacity and resources for business development. Topcamp is building a camping business chain, mainly by buying or incorporating existing campsites with untapped potential and modernizing, streamlining and to a much greater extent digitizing the business. The previous owners of sites most often become partners in the process. Topcamp combines traditional core values such as good hosting, high-quality facilities, a rich range of activities and experiences – with modern business operations, technological operation and management tools.

Fraxx Interactive AS

Fraxx Interactive AS er en norsk edtech startup etablert i 2019. Bedriften har i 2020 lansert direct-to-consumer plattformen Fraxx.no - et videobasert digitalt kursunivers som gjør det mulig å lære fra de mest anerkjente ekspertene innen underholdning, livsstil og sport i Norge og på sikt i resten av Skandinavia. I november 2020 lanserte de sine første kurs med noen av de beste innen sine felt: Bent Stiansen, Anders Aukland, Halvor Bakke og Fæbrik-gjengen. Fraxx ønsker å gi tilgang til kunnskapen disse ekspertene har gjennom en læringsplattform som gir engasjerende og underholdende innhold av høy kvalitet – og som er lette å lære fra. Målet til Fraxx er å gi flere mennesker tilgang og fleksibiliteten til å lære akkurat hvor og når det passer dem. I en hektisk hverdag blir det enda viktigere å ta vare på og utvikle egne interesser, og dette ønsker Fraxx å bidra med.

Wavefoil

Wavefoil er en maritim startup med mål om å redusere drivstofforbruk og CO2-utslipp fra internasjonal skipsfart. Vårt patenterte løsning er allerede installert på tre fartøy med svært gode tilbakemeldinger. Reisen har vært et eventyr så langt, men det stopper ikke her. Er du interessert i å være med på reisen? Ta kontakt! Wavefoil leverer inntrekkbare baugfoiler for redusert drivstofforbruk og økt komfort i bølger. Selskapet baserer seg på forskning fra NTNU, og har i perioden 2016-2020 tatt konseptet inntrekkbare baugfoiler fra en idé til et kommersielt produkt. I september 2019 ble det første skipet med løsningen sjøsatt. Etter mer enn ett år i drift og til sammen tre leveranser, har selskapet nå fått demonstrert drivstoffbesparelse, bevegelsesdemping og driftssikkerhet i fullskala. Selskapet skal de neste årene vokse fra å være en start-up til å bli en industriell leverandør. Til det trengs det dyktige folk. Til tross for suksessen hittil, har selskapet kun en håndfull ansatte i dag. Nye ansatte vil derfor få føle på både friheten og ansvarsfølelsen med å jobbe i en liten bedrift. IML Aeroseal AS

We use a new technology for sealing ventilation duct from the inside. The technology was developed in the US in 1994, but didn't reach the European market until 2015. In 2016 ImL Aeroseal started up in Finland, and as of September 1st 2020 we are breaking into the Norwegian market. Our product solves the issues with the traditional sealing of ventilation ducts; using tape and acryllic sealant to try and plug the leaks. Instead we build up a pressure inside the system and inject a small particle gas that finds all the small leakages and seals them. Not only is it faster, but also alot more effective than the previous method, which in turn makes it much more financially beneficent. With a ventilation system that has little to no leakage you extend the life of the engines and maximize the output of the fans. In addition you get cleaner air in the serviced areas. I became a part of this startup because with my 15 years of experience in the ventilation industry I can truly see the advantages of this method to improve the effectiveness of the ventilation systems and enhance the indoor air quality.

About Us: We are an Oslo-based independent entertainment and media production company, founded in 2019. Our team members have backgrounds from such diverse fields as banking, finance, business administration, advertising, film production and games development. We also have extensive experience with successful social media influencing, content creation and community building, particularly on Youtube and Facebook. The Problem: Self-actualization is becoming increasingly difficult in a changing and tumultuous world. For many, the cumulative effects of pandemic crisis, financial recession, political polarization and a hardened job market is frustration, and a greater need for entertainment and escapism as a means of self-actualization through vicarious experiences. Our vision is to fulfill this growing need for self-actualization. Our mission is to develop globally scalable products that fulfill the needs the marketplace does not adequately cater to today, and which are capable of surviving both recessions and pandemic crisis. Product/Solution: Our product is entertainment brands, based on proprietary video game properties. We aim to establish these brands first as videogame properties, and then use the passion and investment of gaming audiences as the gateway to expand these videogame properties into Transmedia franchises - including comics, third party merchandise and apparel, as well as licensed adaptations in other media, such as film and animation. Opportunity: The Gaming Market is global from day one, with digital gaming storefronts such as Steam, PSN and XBOX Live retaining millions of existing customers worldwide. Gamers are a heavily invested group of customers with both a high willingness to pay, as well as established networks of influencers and discussion forums, which greatly facilitates advertising efforts. Furthermore, gaming has been proven to be both Recession- and Pandemic proof, with game sales being largely unaffected by 2008 financial crisis, while sales records were broken during the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. Consumer behavior during the ongoing crisis has further confirmed the need for (and subsequently, the financial potential in) self-actualization through entertainment. Why us, and why now: We are passionate about entertainment and the creative process, we have business understanding, insight into the fan mindset and a unique strategy which enables us to see and seize upon opportunities the incumbents in the gaming market have missed. Furthermore, the recent crisis has caused many of these incumbents to struggle with adapting their organization and cost structure to the current working climate. By contrast, a start-up like us may be better suited to develop a sustainable and scalable production pipeline fit for the economy we are moving into. Right now is the perfect time to enter the entertainment- and videogame markets.
