The issue We solve an issue common in the bar, venue and club scene. Customer insight and feedback. There is often less dialogue between guests and staff, and guests these days demand more and more from every visit. This occurs especially in the younger generation starting with millennials and younger. They constantly seek the best experience and will move on from a venue quite fast if expectations are not meet. Most venues in both the food and beverage sector could benefit from having a simple solution to better capture feedback while at the same time providing a simple mobile order and payment solution. The Solution Our solution combines ordering and feedback into one service. The service lets you order and pay while out for food and drinks with your phone as this is becoming the preferred way today while also capturing feedback in-app which provides cash points. These can then be used for discounted meals, snacks, goods, drinks etc. (not alcoholic beverages – Norway edition). We create a win-win situation of having guests leave feedback while also being enrolled in a loyalty program which creates higher interest and recurring visits. Why we do what we do Having worked in the food and beverage service sector you may encounter a lot of less friendly feedback at times, but this is often individuals who do not represent the majority of guests. Battkomp designs, produces, and repairs li-ion batteries in the 0.5 to 10 kWh range for mobility applications. We strive to grow into a battery factory that builds high-quality, high-performance batteries for demanding applications. We source the best cells from our partners, and cover the module assembly, housing, and battery management part of the value chain. We have design, manufacturing, and maintenance in-house. We want to run the whole business from Norway, betting on automation instead of cheap labour, quality over quantity, reliability over price, local over foreign. We work with Oslo Kommune, Hesselberg Truck AS, Bolt, Buddy Bikes, and various other companies. We are looking to start a large research project in co-operation with UiO in the near future. We are 2 people and 5 3D-printers working full time at the moment.

Ocean Industry Forum Oslofjord is the Oslo chapter of "Maritimt Forum". It's a not-for profit association with an aim to encourage innovation in the ocean industries and to support ocean start-ups and help them become scale-ups. Most of the maritime, offshore and other ocean industries are in big need of innovation, and we have a small, but significant enough role to play in that respect. We will work with other actors, like The Hub, in the Oslofjord region and beyond, to achieve this goal.

The timing is good as the growth in home deliveries of food is imposing changes in the mindset of the receivers of goods.  We're passionate about taking home deliveries into the century of online shopping, and use entrepreneurial guts to change the way the value chain for home deliveries work today.
