This version includes a crime map that shows crimes that have recently been committed . this is extremely helpful for places you are visiting and has full coverage in the UK and most of the USA . The reason I am doing it Sitting at home one night, I received a call that changed everything. While working alone in London, my brother had been brutally attacked with a hammer. I was devastated and felt completely powerless. He was miles away in another country, what could I do to help? Nothing! Walking along the river, thinking about what had happened, I looked down at the water and suddenly it came to me. I knew what I had to do. I had to find something that would make everyone safer and help prevent these kinds of attacks from happening again. I realised I could use the one thing everybody carries with them, their phone, as a shield to protect them! This idea became the Guardians app.

Caudex is developing an app that will solve the problem with second hand textbooks not being forwarded or sold. Buying second hand textbooks for your next subject should be as easy as just searching for the subject-code or sending a message to students that have previously taken the subject. Solving this problem will contribute to the circular economy in addition it will also result in reducing our carbon footprint as we’re using more second hand material. From our own experiences as developers, designers, digital producers, content writers, and so much more, we were constantly faced with the brick wall that is web production. Large bespoke builds were costly and labor-intensive, and CMS templates made our stories feel flat and uninteresting. We built Vev with this simple principle: Take what's in your imagination and put it on the page. Encryptia is developing an education in programming to help young people below 30 year to get an education and a job, with starting to play a game.(our course) Many young people are not in education or employees (NEETS), they are sitting at home and gaming. The lack of IT developers are increasing. We are working with UN Sustainability Goals no 8 and 10, to help more young people back to work, and to cover the gap of IT developers in Norway and the Nordic. Encryptia is togheter with seven young adults below 30, building a solution like a game. Made by gamers for gamers- to be motivated, fun and fast way of learning. The founder of Encryptia has a background from large tech Companies in Norway. Working with recruitment and employer branding, she learned that the lack of IT developers was and will remain a growing problem in the future. At the same time, her son was without a job and education and spent a lot of time in front of the PC screen. Then the idea was born,that also solves some socially critical problems. We use a new technology for sealing ventilation duct from the inside. The technology was developed in the US in 1994, but didn't reach the European market until 2015. In 2016 ImL Aeroseal started up in Finland, and as of September 1st 2020 we are breaking into the Norwegian market. Our product solves the issues with the traditional sealing of ventilation ducts; using tape and acryllic sealant to try and plug the leaks. Instead we build up a pressure inside the system and inject a small particle gas that finds all the small leakages and seals them. Not only is it faster, but also alot more effective than the previous method, which in turn makes it much more financially beneficent. With a ventilation system that has little to no leakage you extend the life of the engines and maximize the output of the fans. In addition you get cleaner air in the serviced areas. I became a part of this startup because with my 15 years of experience in the ventilation industry I can truly see the advantages of this method to improve the effectiveness of the ventilation systems and enhance the indoor air quality.

EnableMagic is developing a digital platform that will help innovation ecosystem like incubators and accelerators become more efficient. We do this by breaking down network barriers and while increasing the overview the startups have in their incubator. We make it easier for investors to find potential investments in incubators, for mentor to track startups and for incubators to extract data from their ecosystem. We are building our business because we want to help solve problems, and one of the main reasons startups fail is either wrong team, no market or no funding. By helping incubators and accelerators become more efficient, we hope to address these issues and help people solve problems.
