Biozep is discovering and developing first-in-class drug products for the treatment of severe eye diseases which can lead to vision loss and where it is a high unmet medical need. Biozep has discovered novel drug substances based on bioactive lipids which modulate central pathways involved in the pathogenesis of eye diseases. Targets and biomarkers are identified based on a system biology approach combined with in-depth knowledge about bioactive lipids, their endogenous synthesis and mechanisms of action. Biozep has made a prototype drug product based on our lead compound for topical administration and the product will be tested in animal models in 2018. Our goal is to start clinical studies in 2020. Biozep is a company depending on both internal and external resources. Biozep has established its own laboratory in Oslo in order to do synthesis, purification, quality control and chemical development in-house. The biological testing of the drug substances is performed in collaboration with carefully selected contract research organizations both in Europe and the USA. In order to reach the market as fast as possible and to reduce risk, Biozep will seek strategic partnerships early in the drug development phase. Biozep seeks partners with complementary competence and with resources to conduct clinical trials and with market access. We are already in dialogue with potential partners and hope to sign an agreement in 2018-19.

"Lifeboats have killed more people than they have saved!" The statement is as far as I know unsupported, but widely known within the market of lifesaving equipment. Regulatory development, or rather a lack of such, has created a worldwide situation where lifesaving equipment on ships, ferries, cruise liners, you name it, have been torn between manufacturers, owners, service providers, and class and flag authorities, where all parties are biased by their commercial interest and their hopefully unconscious gamble that such equipment never has to be used. Not on their vessel. Not on my watch. The gamble is made with human lives at stake, and unfortunately, the odds are already written in blood. My system is based on my almost 20 years in this busyness. I have been a sailor who has trusted my own life on such equipment. I have been fortunate enough to use such equipment to save others. I have been responsible for the maintenance of such, I have worked with the leading manufacturers of such equipment as well as with companies providing service and inspections. I have also been part of the international organization responsible for the development of the rules for lifesaving equipment, and I have monitored this work closely for the last 10 years. I have seen all sides of the above-mentioned struggle. I know at the end of the day safety is at stake. I also have the solution. My system will benefit all parties and make equipment integrity and safety profitable for all. I am looking for a co-founder, CTO, and system developer to make my dream come true. I need someone with a passion to make a difference. Homeboxx is a convenient box for private homes or workplaces for the delivery of goods ordered from online stores regardless of the recipient's home or not. The Box is equipped with an electronic lock to keep the groceries safe and protected at all times. The box will have insulation material and may also have an active cooling or heating system to ensure different temperature zones, chilled and normally for temperature-sensitive goods like food. An app is included in the box to communicate with the end user, carrier, and the online store.

In order to maintain Norway's position as the largest and most important ski nation in the world, climatic changes require new thinking, types of facilities, snow technologies, and strategies. HST has a letter of intent with Vestfold county to take over the Holmestrand 1862-meter car tunnel at NOK 1 to be redeveloped into a NOK 200 million all-year-around ski facility for cross country, biathlon, and Paralympics. With SIAT/NTNU and Terje, Grønmo Architects developed an opportunity study ("Mulighetsstudie" found at www.holmestrandskitunnel.no). Business and marketing plan currently at work with University College of Southeast Norway, Campus Kongsberg. Why Holmstrand? Because the town is entering into a stage of comprehensive transformation and development, merging three municipalities into a 24,000 people unit, with a number of developments and construction projects coming up downtown at the seaside during the next 5-20 years and a NOK 6,7 billion state investment in a new railway system that takes passengers to Oslo in 45 minutes. 1 million people can reach Holmestrand in one hour by railway and E18. The railway stop is 100 meters from the future ski facility, which might serve as a magnet for other developments, creating health and social conditions for people at large. With an undeveloped fjord area, there is an opportunity to create a sports hub for unique marine and ski activities. Other projects are Gjelsten's leisure island Langøya, Kullboden (1 acre), Uni Quarter (1 acre) Hakan (might have swimming and hotel facilities, an architect study to be opened this fall), new car-free and covered main street (Langgaten), high stories car and boat parking with the business opportunity, heating/cooling systems (fjernvarme) based on excess energy from ski tunnel and Hydro smelter cooling water being served by an NTNU master study, an extension of 1200 leisure boat facilities and undeveloped south town area under the name Hagemann Brygge. Hagemann, in particular, is an excellent 55,000 sq.m. seafront residential and business opportunity with an option to be developed together with the neighboring ski tunnel. The ski tunnel and Hagemann together with some of the other projects would certainly become a long-term investment opportunity.

In the autumn of 2016 was CSI Marine Cleaning AS [CSI] established and included in Validé's incubation program with our idea for a ship hull cleaner and cleaning of other structures submerges in the sea. CSI's idea and goal with this unit are to collect 100% of all bio-marine fouling that comes off of the surface while cleaning. The collected fouling will then be rendered harmless by killing all bio-marine life that is collected before returning it back to the sea. As of date, there is no ship hull cleaner that can document 100% collection of the fouling. Competitive ship hull cleaners vary in the collection of the bio-marine fouling from 25μm and upwards. The need for collection is as low as 2μm according to a study.CSI has secured letters of intent with Yanmar Co. LTD., Østerbø Maskin AS, and Optimarin AS with regard to the development of the collection system and ship hull cleaning unit. CSI has also in the letter of intent with Optimarin AS secured exclusive rights for use of their technology in our line of business. Furthermore, CSI has secured letters of intent with Teekay Shipping Norge AS and Transpetrol Tm AS stating their interest in the finalized product. They may intend to use the cleaning service if the product function as described and the service has competitive pricing.  Information about the development project: The technology for the collection system needs to be developed as a prototype. When it's developed the prototype will be fitted to Yanmar's net cleaner that will be modified for solid surfaces and connected to Optimarin's technology for filter and UV treatment. The cleaning speed is about 1500m2 per hour and is using water pressure in three rotating disks for cleaning the surfaces. iCsys AS will be engaged with implementing sensors and creating unique 3D-mapping software. iCsys will also implement autonomic features for the unit. Regarding research and documentation, we will involve Christian Michelsen Research AS that will document the effectiveness of the finalized unit. Østerbø Maskin will assist with CAD, engineering, and manufacturing of the unit.CSI intends to apply for Innovation Norway's Environmental technology program to start the development of this unit, thus searching for companies or investors willing to finance this project.

High levels of wind noise are a health and safety hazard for motorcycle riders. Noise levels can exceed 110 decibels at highway riding, but also reach dangerously high levels even at city-riding speeds. 95% of riders want a quieter helmet. Current measures to combat noise levels in helmets have yielded very limited results. DAAL Noise Control Systems is a Norwegian start-up tech company founded in 2016 by acoustician and motorcyclist Dag Loe and physicist Sigmund Birkeland. DAAL is currently developing an active noise control system (ANC) for MC helmets. Our system dampens wind noise without interfering with important traffic noises like car horns and sirens.

Diinef is a small company started in 2013 by three engineers. The business concept is sales of electronically controlled valve systems for large hydraulic motors. The valves control the connection between each individual motor cylinder and high- and low-pressure, thereby making the motors controllable and increasing power and efficiency significantly. The product is unique and belongs to the growing technology area of digital hydraulics. We have partners in the areas of motor manufacturing and maritime- and offshore equipment. Throughout 2017 we are developing and testing valves, electronics, and software to finalize the first product, and in parallel, we work with equipment manufacturers to develop application examples and methods. Diinef's founders are employees of the company. We are one Norwegian and two Danes working out of three different locations in Norway and Denmark with a business address in Kristiansand. Happystar ble etablert i desember 2014, av Elisabeth Haga; grafisk designer og idéutvikler. Etter flere år med Happy Star som hobby tok Elisabeth spranget i oktober 2017 og startet opp fulltid.
