Matrikel1 is the  innovation House on Højbro Plads in the very center of Copenhagen. We opened in May and it has been fast pace ever since. It is the focal point for investors, entrepreneurs, creators and disruptive business in Denmark. Specifically, Matrikel1 provides high-end event space, bar&cafe, flexible work space, lounge and offices. We actively work with and create network across all of above.

Our mission is to create a contraceptive technology that renders hormonal birth control obsolete. We are addressing the millions of women that are demanding non-hormonal products with fewer side-effects to manage their fertility. Today, nearly 60 years after the first oral contraceptive pill was sold, most prescription birth control methods are variations on the same synthetic hormones. In collaboration with the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden, we have developed a technology that reinforces the natural barrier properties of cervical mucus. The principle of the technology is to use topically-applied biopolymers to make cervical mucus impenetrable to sperm cells throughout the menstrual cycle. Our approach enables a potentially groundbreaking product that protects within a minute and for extended periods without the systemic side-effects known from hormonal contraceptives. In 2019 we raised $1.8M for pre-clinical development. Today we are incubated at the BioInnovation Institute, conveniently located in central Copenhagen, with access to state-of-the-art labs.

Fridayy is a Danish AI startup building an intelligent customer service platform for small and medium-sized service businesses. Many service businesses spend significant time answering repetitive customer enquiries, managing bookings, handling cancellations, and following up on missed calls. This creates unnecessary administrative work, increases operating costs, and leads to lost customers and revenue. Råd til Bolig is a Danish B2B software platform for financial advisers. It combines property and mortgage information with data from Denmark's land register (Tinglysning). Advisers can calculate and compare Danish mortgage loans, prepare financing scenarios during client meetings, and monitor loans and changes in the land register. The platform keeps client dialogue history and follow-up tasks together. Advisory firms can add branded calculators to their websites and receive leads with property and loan data in Råd til Bolig. The API provides access to Tinglysning data, property information, property valuations, mortgage data and financing calculations. Råd til Bolig also supplies Danish property-register and geodata datasets through Snowflake. The adviser platform runs in a web browser, with subscriptions per financial adviser.

Costile is an AI agent diagnostic proxy for teams building production AI workflows. As companies start using AI agents for support, research, coding, internal operations, and automation, they run into a new kind of infrastructure problem: the agent may technically work, but nobody knows when it is wasting money, looping, retrying badly, using the wrong model, or silently drifting outside expected cost behavior. Most teams can see their total AI bill after the fact. That is too late. What they need is operational visibility into which agent caused the spend, what pattern caused it, how severe it is, and what action should be taken. Costile sits between a company’s AI agents and model providers such as Anthropic. It routes requests through a proxy, logs only metadata such as model, tokens, cost, timestamps, agent ID, session ID, and stop reason, and turns that metadata into diagnostics. Prompts and responses are not stored. The product shows teams a command-center view of their AI agents: which agents are healthy, which are critical, what they spent in the selected time window, and what issue is driving the risk. When an agent is flagged, Costile gives a diagnostic report with the incident window, request log, baseline comparison, projected monthly exposure, and recommended fix. The problem we are solving is not just “AI is expensive.” The deeper problem is that AI agents are becoming autonomous software systems, but companies are still monitoring them like simple API calls. A bad agent loop, retry cascade, model-routing mistake, or runaway request can create cost, reliability, and governance risk before anyone notices. Costile helps engineering, product, and operations teams answer three questions quickly: What is going wrong? Which agent or session caused it? What should we do now? Unge Iværksættere er Danmarks største frivillige ungdomsorganisation for iværksætteri. I snart fem år har vi arbejdet for én ting: at gøre iværksætteri til en mulig karrierevej for unge, uanset baggrund eller ressourcer. Vi har samlet over 4.000 unge til vores events. Vi har haft nogle af landets mest betydningsfulde iværksættere og erhvervsledere på scenen. Og vi har set deltagere finde deres medstifter, bygge deres første netværk og starte virksomheder, der lever i bedste velgående i dag. Alt vi laver er gratis. Events, podcast, fællesskab — adgang skal aldrig være en barriere. Vi er et team på 15 unge i København og Århus, der driver foreningen frivilligt ved siden af studier, jobs og egne virksomheder.
