The energy transition and sustainability sectors are seeing unprecedented investment, with global climate tech funding set to surpass $5 trillion per year by 2030. Yet, despite this rapid growth, early-stage funding for deep tech and hardware startups remains scarce—creating a gap that venture studios like REspire are uniquely positioned to fill. We’re based at RE Gründerhus in Asker, a hub for sustainable innovation, and are now scaling the studio.

Women suffering from ruptures experience incontinence, pain during intercourse, prolapsed uterus, amongst other issues requiring medical support, and generally see a huge impact on their quality of life. Complications cost healthcare systems billions every year, even without calculating aftercare to treat side effects and further complications. We have developed a game-changing birth rupture prevention technology that supports midwives and health workers in their efforts to protect the vulnerable perineal area and reduce birth ruptures. It is a medical device that is applied in the pushing phase of labour, providing protection of the perineal wall and dampening the stress on the skin.

Vi udvikler, producerer og leverer online baserede doserings og kontrolsystemer til hospitality branchen, med et væld af kunder i både Danmark og resten af verden. Vi gennemgår i øjeblikket en spændende fase i vores udvikling som virksomhed, med et større fokus rettet mod bar,-, hotel-, og restaurationskæder. A-MAZE's app and user interface are specifically designed to promote learning through movement. Our solution provides teachers with a time-saving plug 'n' play tool that is digital and intuitive to use in teaching. It requires no preparation, and the solution is based on the learning objectives in core subjects. It's learning through movement. A-Maze was founded in 2022 and has since built a working platform that has been co-created and tested with multiple schools across Denmark. We have received an Innofounder aswell as an Innobooster grand from Innovation Fund Denmark. Furthermore we have a private Investor, Kasper Holst, previous founder of Matematikfessor, which he exited in 2020 after a 13 year long journey. We enable the green shift to happen in new markets! TioTech is a Norwegian producer of titania (TiO2) nanomaterials and a developer of titania-based technology. We know how to optimise the production process and properties of titania nanoparticles. After successfully developing and commercialising a series of photocatalytic surface treatment products (www.joma-int.com), we are directing our R&D efforts towards a new area; the use of titania as anode-material in Lithium-ion batteries (LIB). A battery with our material on the anode will charge faster, last longer, be safer and tolerate temperature variation better than conventional batteries which have graphite on the anode, and outcompete LTO-batteries on capacity. The development work takes place in our in-house laboratory in Bergen, where our dedicated team (Hjørdis, Marthe, Rob, Anders) play around with titania, giving life to innovative solutions.
