Jeg innså at mange mennesker i urbane omgivelser står overfor lignende utfordringer, og ofte går på kompromiss med renslighet på grunn av tidsbegrensninger eller upålitelige tjenesteleverandører. Denne personlige erfaringen, sammen med omfattende markedsundersøkelser, fremhevet et betydelig gap i tilgjengeligheten av konsistente og praktiske rengjøringstjenester. Drevet av en lidenskap for å løse virkelige problemer og et ønske om å gjøre en positiv innvirkning på folks daglige liv, bestemte jeg meg for å forlate min dagjobb og fokusere på å bygge Ren Hub. Vårt oppdrag er å fjerne stresset med rengjøring, slik at kundene våre kan nyte renere, sunnere omgivelser uten bekymringer. Denne reisen er drevet av visjonen om å transformere rengjøringsindustrien med innovative løsninger som møter de stadig skiftende behovene i det moderne bylivet.

The resulting infrastructure provides enhanced integrity, confidentiality, and transparency without the need to trust any single third party (sometimes referred to as “trustless”). Curvature uses AI to make e-commerce stores more profitable, but analyzing/optimizing/personalizing their pricing and discounts. Discounts and Pricing are big levers for e-commerce, but they lack the tools to utilize them. We are building cutting-edge AI models, including reinforcement learning, contextual bandits, and LLMs to give merchants a more intelligent pricing strategy.

Our service caters to individuals like Sara and Peter, who are eager to start families but haven't found partners to do so romantically. With societal shifts and the increasing acceptance of diverse family models, our platform meets a crucial demand. We facilitate connections among prospective co-parents by aligning mutual values, parenting styles, and logistical preferences. Beyond matchmaking, aParent.ly provides extensive support and resources, including expert advice on child-rearing and legal aspects of co-parenting. Our approach not only supports the biological clock concerns of individuals in their late thirties but also offers a community and framework for those pursuing non-traditional family setups. This innovative service ensures children grow up in nurturing environments by fostering strong co-parenting partnerships built on shared goals and commitments.

SKOVLYST er en innovativ bryggerivirksomhed. Vores oprindelse udspringer fra den danske skov – Hareskoven for at være helt præcis. Her startede vores brygmester, Casper Møller, med at brygge øl tilbage i 2005, der var inspireret af skovens dufte, smage og oplevelser. Og selvom vi i dag er rykket ud af det lille bryghus i skoven til større faciliteter, så er den stadig essentiel i vores øl og den måde, hvorpå vi bringer gode øl ud til forbrugerne. Eftersom vi udspringer fra skoven, har vi altid følt et ansvar for at passe godt på den. Derfor arbejder vi løbende med at effektivisere og skabe en ansvarlig forretning, som ikke kun tager hensyn, men samtidig også giver tilbage til skoven, i form af genrejsning af dansk folkeskov. Respire is a Norwegian venture studio focused on building companies within the energy transition and sustainability. We work hands-on from early problem exploration through company formation and early growth, typically partnering closely with founders as active co-builders. Our team brings experience from energy, industry, startups, and venture building, and we believe a systematic approach gives better odds in complex, capital-intensive domains. We build a small number of ventures at a time and take a long-term view. Respire contributes sector insight, structured venture development, access to relevant networks, and in-house capacity for early MVP development. We work with entrepreneurs who want real ownership and responsibility, and who are motivated by solving concrete problems in energy and green industry rather than chasing hype. We’re based at RE Gründerhus in Asker, a hub for sustainable innovation, and are now scaling the studio.

We make fisheries much more efficient at filling their quotas, by using big (open) data, modern web technology and machine learning; resulting in less diesel, time at sea, fish poaching/bicatch and seabed contact. It started with gathering a crew of hackers and engineers for NORA's FishAI competition the summer 2022, which we won, then we set up the company to revolutionise fishery for the better. Dory is the result of wanting to make a better door sign for both private and professional use. A sign that can compliment any surroundings, that can change and grow with you, and may be the first sign you buy and the last you’ll ever need. Dory is based on e-paper technology, app control and swappable frames in different materials and designs. The company is situated in Startuplab in Oslo Science Park.

In the European Union alone, more than 1.5 million paint buckets are discarded daily, constituting a disposal of 340 tons of single-use plastic that is incinerated each day. Starting from early 2023 (2025 in Denmark and Slovenia), manufacturers are obligated to cover the disposal costs of their packaging based on sustainability criteria. In Denmark, this translates to an estimated 15% fee on paint buckets. Furthermore, the conventional round shape of packaging has proven suboptimal for logistics and transportation. Beyond its environmental impact, the traditional paint bucket poses challenges for professional painters. These challenges encompass ergonomic issues during handling, such as the strain of lifting two buckets simultaneously, which exceeds recommended weight limits according to the Working Environment Authority. Painters also find themselves in awkward positions when pouring paint into a roller bucket for wall application. The demanding physical nature of the painting profession in Denmark results in accelerated fatigue and early retirement for painters. Additionally, issues like lid leakage due to dried paint and the use of fragile, porous plastic contribute to unexpected spills, particularly during abrupt vehicle stops. Our innovative solution involves a cardboard box housing two patent-pending plastic bags, each containing 5 liters of paint. This packaging not only enhances the workflow for professional painters but also reduces costs and lowers carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) emissions by approximately 65% per unit. The box's design facilitates easy and ergonomic transportation, allowing for a 45% increase in units per pallet. The box is opened, and one of the bags is inserted into a standard roller bucket used by painters. The bag effortlessly opens and seamlessly fits into the roller bucket, wrapping around the edges, and enabling the painter to begin work promptly. This functionality is made possible through an innovative patented design and specific plastic welding techniques.
