Galeria 18

Galeria 18 is developing a unique, Southern European-inspired gallery space to help art lovers and emerging artists find a creative community, explore new art forms, and showcase their talent in a relaxed, inclusive atmosphere. Our mission is to foster creative connections and make contemporary art accessible to all, with a hands-on approach to curating, exhibitions, and workshops. In the contemporary art scene, emerging artists often face barriers to gaining visibility and connecting with a community of like-minded creators. Many galleries are formal, exclusive, and intimidating, leaving talented artists without a platform to share their work. Art enthusiasts, on the other hand, are looking for a more relaxed, intimate experience where they can appreciate art at their own pace and engage with the creative process. This gap affects both the artist's exposure and the audience’s ability to connect deeply with art. At Galeria 18, we are solving this by creating a dynamic space that blends a gallery with a creative hub. Our gallery showcases modern art from both emerging and established artists, offering a platform for creativity, connection, and growth. In addition to exhibitions, we host workshops and courses led by the artists themselves, fostering a community where artists can share knowledge and connect with visitors. We aim to break down the barriers between artists and the public, making art more approachable and interactive. The motivation to start Galeria 18 came from a deep desire to create a space where art can flourish in a non-intimidating, vibrant atmosphere. I, Karen Dulong, have always been passionate about both art and entrepreneurship. With my background in strategic design and entrepreneurship and my own experience as an artist, I saw an opportunity to create something different – a gallery that not only showcases art but also acts as a creative haven for both artists and the community. This gallery is my way of supporting artistic talent and making art a more inclusive, shared experience.

Monogram

About Us: Monogram is a startup focused on art inventory management for individuals and businesses. The project originated from the realization that 98% of all art buyers/collectors do not have a digital inventory system. In addition to inventory management, the platform has two other main features: a social component where users can view other collectors' collections and a marketplace where users can sell works without a middleman. The product currently exists as an MVP being evaluated by a test panel.

Valma AI

Valma.ai is a versatile AI-powered SaaS platform to help businesses actually become highly productive with Artificial Intelligens. We are a Norwegian startup with global reach, offering both a no-code/low-code solution for non-technical SMBs and a robust API and SDK for developers, enabling businesses of all sizes and technical capabilities to harness the power of AI. Valma.ai is addressing the challenge of AI underutilization in businesses, spanning from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMBs) to large corporations with in-house development teams. This issue affects companies across various industries, particularly in the Scandinavian market, but is rapidly gaining global recognition. For non-technical SMBs, the problem lies in the complexity and inaccessibility of many AI solutions, which often require specialized knowledge to implement and use effectively. These businesses struggle to leverage AI to enhance their productivity and competitiveness due to limited resources and technical expertise. On the other hand, companies with strong technical capabilities face a different challenge. While they have the skills to implement AI solutions, they often lack a flexible, scalable platform that allows them to quickly develop and deploy custom AI-powered applications tailored to their specific needs. Valma.ai recognizes that the need for AI-driven productivity spans across the spectrum of technical capabilities, from marketing agencies needing simple automation to tech companies requiring advanced AI integration. Our platform is designed to bridge this gap, offering solutions for both ends of the technical spectrum. Valma.ai solves these problems by offering a dual-approach platform: For non-technical users and SMBs: A user-friendly, no-code/low-code interface that allows easy creation and management of AI-powered workflows Pre-built AI variants (Chatbot, Agent, and Workflow) that can be easily customized and deployed Simple integration options, including a chat window that can be easily added to websites White-labeling capabilities for brand customization For developers and technically advanced users: A robust API that allows deep integration of Valma.ai's AI capabilities into existing systems and applications An SDK for building custom solutions and extending the platform's functionality Advanced features like custom annotations to override language models for precise outputs Flexible data management, including the ability to edit uploaded/stored data directly in a vector database Common features for all users: - Multiple AI variants that can be combined for complex problem-solving - Integration capabilities with both internal and external tools - Long-term memory for storing and retrieving important information - Collaboration features for team-based workflow creation - Voice-to-text and text-to-voice capabilities - Built-in security features and GDPR compliance This comprehensive solution allows businesses of all sizes and technical capabilities to leverage AI effectively, whether they're looking for out-of-the-box solutions or want to build custom, AI-powered applications. By providing both no-code options and developer tools, Valma.ai ensures that companies can start small and scale their AI usage as their needs and capabilities grow.

Hive Initiative

The Hive Initiative is creating tools to help companies integrate adaptation and mitigation efforts within their organisation through design-thinking workshops and implementation frameworks. As our planet warms and ecosystems continue to change, businesses will be increasingly required to make meaningful- and reportable- changes. As most people do not have a background in environmental science, it can be challenging to understand the full picture and how roles can be adapted. And while sustainability courses and seminars convey knowledge, it remains challenging to keep the energy high, the culture empowered, and the knowledge put into practice. The Hive Initiative’s Mini Climate Summit makes it easy to address these challenges. It brings employees together in real time to learn science-based facts and then gives them a forum to collaborate on solutions. With ideas captured and implemented, KPIs are met, ESG requirements are fulfilled and culture is strengthened. The result: more minds that help make company sustainability more active, enabled and empowered, which in turn makes society more educated and resilient. We are a group of people with high levels of climate anxiety- but also high levels of optimism. We want to use our skills in design and communication to make it easier for everyone to stay educated, hopeful and empowered, which will make it much easier for all of us to adapt to our changing world. As the founder, I wanted to work on solutions every day, and did so while having a day job. After 4 years, myself and my collaborators have built up a good product prototype, solid relationships with other climate orgs, and solid vision of what we hope to achieve. So it was the right time to focus on this fully. I really do believe that all of us want a world that is fair for everyone and is in harmony nature. We just have to figure out how to get there.

Rejoose

At Rejoose, we believe traditional business transactions lack transparency when it comes to their environmental impact. In essence, they leave a hidden cost – carbon emissions – unaccounted for. This creates several challenges for companies: Blind spots in sustainability: Without knowing the carbon footprint of each transaction, setting and tracking progress towards emissions reduction goals becomes a guessing game. Informed decision-making hurdles: Sustainable choices often involve trade-offs. Without clear data, prioritizing actions to optimize environmental impact becomes difficult. Stakeholder engagement struggles: Customers and investors demand environmental accountability. Traditional invoicing offers no way to showcase your commitment with concrete data. Compliance concerns: Regulations around carbon reporting are tightening. Ignoring transparency can lead to penalties and missed opportunities. This is where Rejoose e/voice steps in. We seamlessly integrate carbon emission data directly into your invoicing process. Think of it as transforming financial transactions into powerful sustainability statements. Every transaction now carries valuable insights into your environmental footprint, empowering you to: Pinpoint and tackle emission hotspots: Identify areas in your supply chain and operations where emissions are highest, allowing you to prioritize improvement efforts. Tell your sustainability story: Communicate your commitment to a greener future with transparent, data-driven reports that resonate with stakeholders. Make a real difference: Take informed actions that minimize your environmental impact, contributing to a more sustainable future for all. At Rejoose, we believe transparency is key to sustainable business practices. Let e/voice be your guide to unlocking valuable insights and taking concrete steps towards a greener future.

PARAL

Problem: Denmark faces a significant challenge with over 500,000 chronic heart patients who find themselves trapped in a cycle of frequent healthcare visits, averaging 16 times more visits per quarter compared to regular patients. This problem stems from a lack of comprehensive insight into patients' health due to inadequate consumption and continuous monitoring of biometric datasets. Consequently, patients resort to frequent hospital visits to compensate for this lack of insight, placing a substantial burden on medical facilities, clinicians, ethics, and patient well-being during these 'chronic cycles.' Vision: Our vision aims to optimize the current monitoring and care paradigm for chronic heart patients by providing detailed and long-term insights into patients biometric datasets. We intend to achieve this vision through the development and advancement of our product, 'The Link,' a patient-friendly Med-Tech wearable. 'The Link' simplifies user interaction with its recognizable design while maintaining clinical accuracy through 12-lead ECG and supplemented sensors.

Trust Stamp

As society has progressively moved towards increased digitalisation and users have increased requirements for remote access to services, there is a greater need for secure methodologies that allow companies to identify and transact with customers and other stakeholders remotely. The government is no exception to this change: employees and stakeholders increasingly expect to be able to interact remotely with the government, both easily and safely. Biometric technologies are becoming ubiquitous, especially in support of remote interactions: when implemented well, they can bring tremendous advantages to business, government and their stakeholders with a slicker user experience, improved trust and lower costs. Inevitably, new opportunities come with new challenges, including: - Identity theft: biometric databases are proliferating and criminals are highly motivated to acquire biometric credentials and use them to impersonate others, usually for fraudulent purposes. Biometric credentials are far more valuable to criminals because, unlike passwords, they can’t simply be changed if stolen. - Trust: as remote interactions become the norm, it’s essential that both parties can be highly confident of the other’s identity. A business, government or service provider will need to be confident that the person connecting to the service is both a real person and the right person. - Exclusion: for those who do not have the necessary technology or skills, or perhaps bias in the biometric system that discriminates against some demographics and characteristics (such as skin colour and ageing). - Compliance: unlike passwords, biometrics are tied to an individual’s characteristics and could be used to identify that individual. GDPR places biometrics in a special or sensitive category of personal data and demands much stronger safeguards around collection and safekeeping. Trust Stamp recognises the challenges being faced by users and the market, and has responded to these challenges by creating a solution which provides users with a secure, private, and accessible identity. Trust Stamp establishes trust in a connected world, delivering trusted identity systems at the heart of how organisations and individuals transact in the digital world and beyond. Trust Stamp creates a secure, private and accessible identity. Trust Stamp answers the ultimate question of ‘Who am I dealing with?’. Is the person accessing the systems at that point in time, a real person and the right person? Trust Stamp’s patented technology enables businesses and public sector services to create trust and to protect themselves and their users, while empowering individuals to retain ownership of their data and prevent fraudulent activity using their identity. Trust Stamp focuses on three main areas of identity: - Creating an identity / Identity proofing. Trust Stamp's radical innovations in biometrics and data protection empower people to access more with an identity that can be safely shared and stored. - Powering transactions that enfranchise all parties involved. When our identity technology is used to open a bank account or access a public service, both the individual and organisation achieve higher levels of protection and confidence in the security of their data and the integrity of their systems. Trust Stamp's solutions elevate all sides of an identity system. - Mitigating risk to identity data. Trust Stamp leads with a privacy and security focus. Our technology limits the potential for misuse of identity data and damage due to data loss by creating a secure and private identity with the Irreversibly Transformed Token (IT2).
