Folke Furniture is a D2C furniture brand from Copenhagen. We design, produce, and sell modular sofas made for real life, for people who move, change plans, and live in homes with staircases, doorways, and shifting needs. Most sofas are built for a forever home. But many of us live in apartments, move often, and need furniture that can follow along, without drama. So we’re replacing bulky, one-shape-for-life sofas with a simple system: tool-free modules that ship in boxes, zip together in minutes, and rearrange whenever life does. Our modular sofa is built from four core modules, giving customers the freedom to: • start small now • switch between sofa, lounge, guest bed, or conversation corner in seconds • add more modules later, instead of replacing the whole thing Folke is a Danish name with a simple meaning. It comes from “folkelig,” meaning "for the people," and nods to folklore: the everyday stories we share and pass on. Because home isn’t just walls and furniture. It’s movie nights, long talks, kids on the cushions, and friends who stay a little longer. Folke began in 2024 out of personal need. When our founder, Christoffer, became a family of three, he didn’t want “a sofa.” He wanted a living space: a soft spot for board games, wrestling, scrolling, reading, real conversations, and overnight grandparents. EquaFish is a company developing the only complete decision-making tool for fish farm operation. The AquaCulture industry is facing mass mortality and decreased yields as a result of knowledge and data being fragmented througout the farm. One facility usually have 10-15 different systems, Excell sheets and notes where only 10-15% of the functionality is actually used. EquaFish streamlines, process and visualize the data so that every employee, no matter role, understand the plan, status and future of the production. This $140B problem is faced by salmon farmers, telapia, halibut, shellfish and char farmers all alike. The tech is the same, even though the species is not. EquaFish has a SaaS solution bringing all growth, water quality, mortality and feed data into one, exploiting mathematical and statistical data processing to find causes and effects, which the fish farmer can act upon. The result is higher yield with reduced risks in the production, increased effiency, knowledge sharing and learning with the employees. Finally fish produced in more stable environments with less risk of death and non-friendly conditions. EquaFish was startet on the belief that one of the biggest industries deserve the newest and best tools. The time of post-it notes, Excell and systems from the 90s died 15years ago and the AquaCulture industry didnt get the memo.
