Nordic Startup School

Nordic Startup School aims to be the best program for pre-seed startups in Europe. While Tomi Terentjeff was living in US, he noticed that plenty of Finnish startups showed interest on US markets and were coming there to scout the market. Unfortunately, most of the startups were not prepared to enter the US market, since a lot of funding is required and startups need to be precise on what they are doing and what value it is provided to the customers. Nordic Startup School was then founded to improve the quality of startups and educate their founders to become the best possible entrepreneurs they can be because companies come and go, but founders stay around longer. Nordic Startup School is based on values that we all believe in, centered on the “No assholes” rule. We make a long-term impact on startups and thus on society, but we do not compromise on our values for any amount of money. We want to be an example of inclusiveness, diversity, openness, and genuine cooperation. We aim to be the “hippie VC”, as we have been nicknamed. We are professional and efficient yet chill since we understand that all is temporary and one day we will be dead, and rather do things we are passionate about than live in regret our beautiful existence.

Healthy EATS

Healthy EATS is a healthy fast food start-up. Using innovative technology, the company will make healthy eating easier and more available for the Norwegian population. Their unique concept is built on efficiency, quality, and sustainability. The dishes are produced in cooperation with award-winning chefs and are sold to the customers through unmanned pick-up stations. While there are a lot of different providers of fast-food in Norway, finding a healthy fast-food alternative is harder than one should think. Especially if you are interested in a healthy, fast and affordable meal, the alternatives are few, and you will often end up having to choose two of the three criterias (e.g. fast and affordable, but unhealthy). Healthy EATS is going to change the perception that healthy food cannot be both affordable and fast, by changing the way the food is distributed to the consumer - cutting all waiting time. This will be done by replacing the traditional fast-food restaurants with our high-tech, unmanned pick-up points. These pick-up points will be available all around the city and allow the customer to access the food instantly, paying through our mobile app or by credit card.

Danish Startup Group

Danish Startup Group (DSG) is a non-profit organization in Copenhagen. Our vision is to inspire and support entrepreneurs in their startup journey. We do that by engaging with our members in a variety of events:start-up tours, workshops, learning activities and social networking opportunities. Become Legends is a esports team and brand and with headquarters in Norway. The team rapidly gained a foothold in the Fortnite scene and has built a stellar reputation after having participated in the Fortnite World Cup 2019 and placing 12th with Pontus 'Tchub' Bucht and securing $150,000. The team features players from Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and the UK and are one of the top global contenders in Fortnite when it comes to both competitive and branding. The team consistently ranks as a top team in 2020, ranking between #1 and #3 in Europe according to Gamepedia Fortnite Power Rankings. volant - minimalistic handmade diffusers and organic essential oils

Volant was founded in Norway by Tobias Nervik and Daniel Hoftun. They shared a flat in Oslo and wanted to buy an aroma diffuser to start using essential oils after Tobias heard about it on the Tim Ferriss show. Daniel had just refurbished the apartment and wanted a nice-looking diffuser that fit well with the interior decor. They were unable to find one. That is why they created volant: to offer a minimalistic essential oil diffuser that goes with any interior. The volant diffuser was an instant hit in Norway and launched in 15 countries within the first year. The volant diffuser is Scandinavian in design and craftsmanship and is the flagship product of volant. It infuses our customers' spaces with fresh aromas and helps them feel relaxed, energetic or focused depending on their needs.
