Astrid Wild launched in late 2019 by us, Maria & Jemina. We got tired of the uninspiring and non-flattering selection of outdoor wear for women, and decided to create our own brand. We design high quality outdoor clothing with timeless Scandinavian design and a tailored fit for a woman’s body. Sizes range from 2XS to 4XL. Sustainability is at our core and has influenced many decisions, for example working with recycled materials, avoiding seasonal collections and placing our manufacturing in Europe. We’re passionate about inspiring women to spend more time in nature, and by increasing diversity in the outdoor scene we want to make nature more accessible for all women. Clean Sea Solutions AS is a Norwegian Ocean Tech company that develop innovative solutions to prevent and reduce plastic waste in the sea. Our products are designed to collect plastic waste in and below the water surface in lakes, water channels, rivers and river mouths, harbors, marinas, and other close coastal areas. This year, and in collaboration with the City of Oslo, Clean Sea Solutions (CSS) is launching the CSS Aqua-Drone, an all-electric, autonomous floating waste-collecting aqua-drone in the Port of Oslo. Using a combination of computer vision and remote sensing based on ultrasound or 3D laser scanning (LIDAR) technologies. The robot gathers trash and stores it on board, disposes it at a dedicated docking station, and recharges for the next mission. Our solutions are advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals with technologies that reducing plastic pollution, contributing to the sustainability of the ocean, and improve the quality and sustainability of water resources by addressing the impact of plastic waste inflow.

Founded in 2011 SKAARHOJ is still a very young and small company, but with a very promising future.  As many other Start-ups, SKAARHOJ also started more or less by coincident, when Kasper Skårhøj in his profession as a Video Producer at DTU saw a need for a smaller and cheaper broadcast control unit instead of the solution available from the company Blackmagic Design.   After 2 years he achieved what he had started out to develop and in 2013 he incorporated SKAARHOJ as a company.
