Continuous monitoring of glucose in this patient group will enable better glucose control, which significantly reduces cost and improves patient outcomes. While many solutions exist for continuous glucose monitoring in diabetics, no good solution exists for critically ill patients. DiFacto is an AI-powered SaaS startup based in Aarhus at Incuba, automating invoice auditing for companies with complex supplier and rebate agreements — starting with the Danish construction industry. The problem: Construction companies operate under intricate price agreements with major suppliers like STARK, XL-Byg, and others. These agreements contain volume discounts, seasonal rebates, and project-based pricing. In practice, invoices frequently deviate from the agreed terms — but checking them manually is time-consuming, expensive, and requires specialist knowledge that most SMEs simply don't have. Our own pilot data shows that around 10% of all invoices contain errors or rebate breaches, putting 1–1.5% of total procurement volume at risk. Why we built it: We spent 14 months manually analysing hundreds of real price agreements and invoice structures from Denmark's largest building suppliers. That deep understanding became the foundation for a platform that does in 30 seconds what a trained analyst would take hours to do. Our core engine reads invoices via OCR, converts them to structured data, and cross-references them algorithmically against the client's price agreements — flagging every discrepancy automatically. Why now: We have a working MVP, real pilot customers, and a clear path to a commercially scalable product. We're a small team of three co-founders building something technically complex in a space with almost no direct competition. This means an intern won't just watch from the sidelines — you'll work directly on live problems, contribute to a microservice-based backend architecture, and learn how to build AI-driven data pipelines in a real startup environment at Incuba, Aarhus.

Leftovers is a peer-to-peer marketplace connecting home cooks with neighbours who want affordable, authentic, home-cooked meals, starting in Copenhagen. We all know how expensive eating out in Denmark can be. And cooking takes time and skill most people don't have. The result? Overpriced delivery, repetitive convenience food, inefficiency and waste. Meanwhile, thousands of skilled home cooks (food influencers, aspiring chefs, international residents cooking family recipes) have excess capacity and no easy way to monetise or share it. Leftovers closes that gap. Through the Leftovers app (live on iOS and Android), neighbours browse daily home-cooked meals from local cooks, order affordable portions (50–100 DKK), and collect locally. Cooks get flexible, high-margin income and a micro-brand for their cuisine. Customers get real food, at fair prices, with zero cooking required. All while building community and addressing waste. We've just launched a Kickstarter pilot in partnership with CBS Housing (Copenhagen Business School's student residences) and are actively securing further co-living and student housing partnerships to validate and grow the model. Denmark's regulatory environment for small-scale home food sales makes it feasible. I noticed the opportunity while living in a student dorm in Copenhagen last year, where I was constantly choosing between expensive takeaway and my own basic cooking, while talented students across the hallway were cooking incredible family recipes every day. We tried sharing food amongst ourselves, and it worked. Surveys across students, young professionals, and families confirmed the need. I've since come across many examples of successful local food sharing initiatives, but no platform that coordinates it. Leftovers isn't just a platform for sharing home-cooked meals. It unlocks idle kitchen capacity, empowers home cooks, makes food more affordable, improves access to authentic local produce, fights waste, and helps build local community. The long-term vision is city-by-city expansion across Denmark, Scandinavia and Europe, where local food regulations make sense. "No verification = no trust," meaning people are afraid to share sensitive information over the phone. We are building technology to make digital trust possible. Our solution is SafeCall, an app where you call with a verified identity by using BankID to authenticate the call. For businesses, we offer SafeCall Business, allowing companies to verify their calls so customers feel safe to answer, thereby strengthening the trust between company and customer. We are "Swishifying" (swedish app Swish) telephony to make verified communication the new normal, where unverified calls are ignored just like we avoid clicking on unknown links today.
