Imagine a world where the 'Size Chart', a relic of the 20th century, no longer exists. At UTRY, we are building a universal ecosystem for personalized digital fashion. Born at Aalborg University, our mission is to ensure the digital store adapts to the individual’s unique body, rather than forcing people to fit into static categories. We aren't just building a tool for brands; we are building an interactive, personalized experience for every shopper, where getting the perfect fit becomes the new global standard. We are tackling a massive, dual-sided problem. For the consumer, online shopping is a guessing game that leads to frustration and "fit-anxiety." For brands, this uncertainty results in 8,7 billion returned packages every year, where 53% of returns are due to poor fit. This cycle produces 24 million tons of CO2 annually, because costumers has to guess which size fits them. We saw this gap and realized that the industry doesn't need more complex 3D software; it needs a frictionless bridge between the buyer and the product. Our solution is built on smart synergy. Currently, we have launched our Virtual Try-On (VTO), which leverages generative AI to give shoppers a photorealistic view of garments on their own bodies. This provides the immediate visual confidence shoppers crave. Following closely behind is our Size Algorithm, designed to provide technical fit data to ensure the physical fit matches the visual one. By combining these into a single "UTRY ID," we are creating a cross-brand network where a user sets up their profile once and shops at every brand using UTRY with confidence. UTRY started because we did not fit into the standard size chart and had to order several sizes to find the correct size ourselves. As students at Aalborg University, we didn't just want to study the problem; we teamed up with a dedicated full-time crew to solve it. Steerpath is a Finnish startup solving global challenge of optimising benefits of hybrid working for both employee and the company. Our hybrid workplace application helps employees & companies get maximum out of multi-location working. We have built a mobile app where employees can easily see when to visit the office or stay remote based on their favourite colleague work plans and available capacity of meeting rooms, it can guide you around a space if you are new to the space via indoor maps, and much more. For managers we provide analytics of what spaces are being used, so they can develop their spaces in an optimal way. We have also developed an internal venture under a different brand called Spacehub, which are small pods you can book for working in shopping centres and similar. Customers are typically larger companies from 1000+ employees, with majority Headquartered in Finland, but we also have customers in the UK and US. In the future we will be focusing on the Nordic market, because in the Nordic culture there is trend to focus more on employee satisfaction. Our solution is already used by some of the largest and most well known brands in the Nordics, such as Finlands largest commercial TV broadcaster MTV. Steerpath was founded in 2013 by Mikko, Tuomas and Sam, all sharing a long history with several decades of experience in all aspects of product development, Bluetooth and other wireless technologies. Our team has since grown to now 15 people of different background and nationalities. Our office is in Alberga Business Park next to Sello in Leppävaara, easy to reach with public transport (15 minutes from city centre), and we have a very nice setup with a small living room in the middle. We have been able to bring together different strengths to deliver a solution our customers love and we are very excited to bare witness to some of the innovations that have already come out from the collaboration. We are a very friendly group who enjoy hanging out and do things together, we also have small events, board games nights, summer party and more. We have a start-up environment in our small team, and support a hybrid work model with the flexibility to work partially remote. We do recommend people to come to the office at least 2 days per week, as you will work closely with other members of the company, and this is the best way to get to know your colleagues. The rest of the team prefer coming in most days, and we even have colleagues stopping by during their holidays to say hi to the team, borrow tools, and other things, and that really says it all.

Hence Pacific North is developing a buoyancy aid for watersports, that is based on the use-case of watersports and made to comply with the needs of the user. This makes it possible to wear safety equipment, without even thinking about it during the sport. The buoyancy aid is made for a list of watersports, including rowing, SUP, and Surfing (including kite- and windsurfing). Pacific North's mission is to support the athlete during their watersport, giving them more freedom to focus on improving skills, exploring new places, and maximizing the joy of their watersport.

Maritime Stars is an accelerator program for Danish startups with innovative solutions for the maritime industry. Each year, the maritime industry selects ten of Denmark's best startups, which pitch their businesses for a chance to join the program. With only five available spots, only the five highest-rated startups among the ten pitching candidates are admitted to Maritime Stars each year. The pitch event will take place on June 11 in Aalborg.Since the industry itself decides, based on the pitches on the day of the event, which five startups will join this year's cohort, applicants only need to complete a short application form in advance to be considered among the ten startups selected to pitch.
