Impact Roasters is a social coffee enterprise supporting coffee farmers and local communities in Ethiopia through its trade model called Impact Trade.    We bring coffee beans directly from small-scale farmers without middlemen from the highlands of Ethiopia, which we roast locally at our roastery in Copenhagen.    At the moment, we run different Impact projects in Ethiopia bringing significant changes to the local coffee farming communities.   Nidzara Fazlic and Daniel Halalla (Ethiopian)  started the company to bring the Ethiopian coffee culture to Scandinavia: roasting the coffee on the spot, enjoying coffee as a social drink and appreciating the work of the coffee growers who are part of the company. At Impact Roasters, we strive to share our love for coffee and tell the world about the rich Ethiopian coffee culture. We also believe that we can create long-term impact by bringing the farmers directly to the roasters. We want our partners to know where their coffee came from, when it was picked and who are the people behind the process from the beginning to the very end.

We aim to help startups speed up their growth and raise their first VC round. If you're looking to raise €1-3M in 2021, this is the perfect program for you! Among our alumnus, 80 % has raised a round after they joined the program. The batch starts early March 2021 for a duration of 3 months mostly online and some events onsite if possible. The selected startups will receive an investment of €50k as a convertible note with a flexible valuation cap. And to top it off, at the end of the program all companies will take part in Malmö Demo Day.
