A company that uses a carrot bank has: - better employer image - more motivated employees - more productive staff The purpose of the carrot bank is to motivate members/people to perform tedious tasks or additional tasks. On the other hand, it is intended to reward the perpetrators of those tasks for their work. This allows staff to focus on what is essential and important to the company. Example 1: The controversy over the coffee brewing turn ended like a wall after the introduction of the Carrot Bank. The time previously spent on daily arguing who will make coffee, is now in billable work. Example 2: Construction workers are motivated to use the waiting time to do other work, such as cleaning and finishing a completed site or helping a co-worker. The goal of the carrot bank is to get the community (family, company, sports club) to agree together the rules of how to collect carrots and how they can be used. Once the rules have been agreed together, it is easier for everyone to stick to them and they are fair to everyone.

They have made it easy to get the photo books back in the living rooms, so that friends and family can gather around the pictures and look back at all of their greatest memories together. And now they are expanding to the international market. The team has developed a photo book app called SubBook, which allows users to collect pictures from both Facebook, Instagram, Dropbox, and the iPhone camera roll to make simple photo books as easy as possible. They have made it with a particular focus on a user-friendly experience, so that people can both create and order their photo books while grocery shopping or in the bus on the way home from work. Because the team would like to spread the joy of perpetuated memories and the possibility to make simple, personalized, and cheap photo books to even more people, they now have entered the international market. In doing so they have also launched their website and app in English versions, while their photo books are delivered to all of Europe. With a sustainable aim. As the team wishes to give something back to the resources they use in their production, SubBook has joined in with the organization One Tree Planted. This collaboration means that a tree is planted every time a customer orders three books using the SubBook app. The team care a great deal about the traces they leave on our Earth and because of this, they only use paper qualities complying with international environmental requirements. This also means that their customers can order books with a clean and green conscience. For now, the SubBook app only works with iPhones, but as a part of their international launch the team is working tirelessly on developing an app for Android users, so that many more can join in on getting pictures out of the phones and into the photo books.

Go Dogo offers deep-tech products that help dog parents keep their dogs mentally healthy. Dogs need mental stimulation to stay healthy. The stimulation should be based on both owner-facilitated and owner-independent challenges. The owner-facilitated mental stimulation (different types of training) is critically important, as it is not just mental stimulation - it builds and continuously strengthens the human-dog bond. Solving owner-independent challenges on the other hand is extremely important because it boosts the dog's self esteem and self confidence, which is crucial in order to prevent many behaviour problems, such as insecurity, anxiety, aggression, in-door soiling, excessive barking/whining, destructive behavior and canine depression. Available solutions that may provide owner-independent mental workout are low-tech products made out of wood, plastic, cloth or a combination. They are typically about moving or pushing or clawing at something to find or release a hidden treat. They are not giving any instructions or feedback and they have no progression - so they are usually either too easy or too difficult. If too easy, the dog does not get a whole lot of mental workout - and if too difficult the dog tends to give up fast, and hence does still not get the desired mental workout. The solution is our Go Dogo! Go Dogo uses the home TV to give the needed instructions and feedback and it dispenses treats as rewards when the dog does an exercise correct - or in some situations to support the motivation to keep trying. Computer vision enables Go Dogo to recognise the dogs movements, and the intelligent software adapts to each dog individually and only gradually increases the level of difficulty to ensure adequate mental stimulation.
