We are looking for a dedicated PEMS Project Manager who can handle projects all the way from quotation to implementation within our rapidly growing international market within Predictive Emission Monitoring Systems (PEMS).

Weel & Sandvig is a leading supplier of PEMS systems for monitoring air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions from industrial plants.

Main Responsibilities

Our new Project Manager will have responsibility for specific customer projects.

A PEMS project lifecycle starts with us receiving a technical offer request and goes all the way to implementation. You will collaborate closely with our team of engineers, our external business partners, and the customer’s engineering team along the way.

Your starting point is to define the project scope and requirements together with the engineering team. Function as the quotation engineer, organize and execute the engineering and bid activities. During this process you will drive the technical part of bidding process together with relevant contacts. Could be customer meetings to clarify technical needs and specifications. Cross-organizational coordination – also with external subcontractors.

From then on you will, together with the team plan all project deliverables according to the project schedule and milestones and then manage the project all the way to final delivery.

Your Qualifications

We expect you to have an education as an engineer or equivalent, as well as a solid technical background with insight into energy technical plants such as engines, boilers, or turbines.

Your personal qualities are crucial as you will collaborate with people from different cultures, as well as maintaining an overview in sometimes stressful situations.

We hope to come to know you as a structured Project Manager, who takes ownership and keeps going until a task has been completed. You have great planning skills and know your deadlines. You feel comfortable in an outgoing role, and with your ability to communicate and involve yourself across different levels, you easily establishing trust with stakeholders, understand their needs and challenges, manage expectations, while knowing how to balance patience with the urge to move things forward.

We are looking for an engineer with competencies in:

• Data communication (PI, OPC, etc.)

• Software installation and configuration

• Thermal processes (gas turbines, boilers, engines)

  
  

We expect you to have good communication skills in both Danish and English and a good cultural insight. Travel may occur and when needed it is typically of 2-5 days duration.
