At RiACT, we are shaping the future of robotics for the manufacturing industry. Our software platform RiFLEX empowers system integrators and manufactures to create flexible, intelligent automation solutions—fast, scalable, and easy.
Our team is composed of leading software engineers specializing in cyber-physical systems, robotic software architectures, and control and vision algorithms, as well as experienced business and organisational professionals dedicated to fostering a thriving, inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued and inspired to contribute.
Founded in 2019, we’re a fast-growing startup based in Copenhagen. With our first customer projects already underway, we’re now deploying our software, RiFLEX, across Europe. For our journey we're now looking for a Technical Project Manager with background in software development and Python programming to join our growing team.
You have solid experience as a software developer within robotics, with a strong background in designing and implementing software architectures using Python. You have a deep understanding of data structures and algorithms, along with solid knowledge of DevOps practices and tools. Python is your main programming language, and you're proficient in code management—including conducting code reviews, debugging, and refactoring into clean, scalable APIs. With your background in software development, you’ve also gained experience managing technical projects and working in cross-functional teams involving both software and robotics. You know how to manage projects from sales to planning and deployment at customer - and are comfortable navigating the full project lifecycle. You're confident working with agile methodologies and SCRUM, and you bring strong communication skills—you know how to talk to engineers, sales teams, and customers alike.
Your primary responsibility will be the full lifecycle of project delivery—from the handover after sales, through planning and execution, coordinating closely with our development team, to software deployment and customer success follow-up. You will ensure smooth collaboration and that deadlines are met.
While your focus is on project management, you will also contribute to code development in Python when to support, understand, or unblock technical discussions. You’ll translate complex technical requirements into clear, actionable tasks to contribute to smooth sprint execution and proactively identify risks and opportunities, adjusting plans as necessary. Additionally, you'll play a role in strengthening our quality assurance processes by providing feedback on the user interface and usability of our software. Occasional travel to customers, primarily within Denmark, is required.
This is a key role in a fast-growing startup, where you’ll have a real impact on how we deploy our solutions and scale our technology. You’ll be part of a team that shares a strong passion for robotics, with plenty of opportunities to grow professionally and shape your role as we evolve. We foster a culture driven by curiosity, nerdiness, and a shared love for problem-solving—combined with kindness and inclusiveness. You'll join an international work environment, with colleagues from nine different nationalities, bringing diverse perspectives to everything we do.
Please attach your CV and highlight the experience most relevant to this role. Include a brief motivational note (max. 5 lines) answering: Why RiACT?—we’re curious to know what excites you about joining us.
We would like for our new colleague to start in May 2025 if possible or soon as possible there after.
Due to the Easter break in weeks 15 and 16, applicants will not hear from us during this period. Interviews will therefore take place from week 17.
