Litech, founded in 2021, is an Oslo-based startup specializing in developing sensor systems to detect and remove hazardous objects, such as flammable batteries and gas bottles, to prevent fires and explosions at waste facilities. We are currently running pilots with two major players in the waste management industry. Aviant performs medical deliveries between hospitals by leveraging drone technology. Today, district hospitals can only analyze simple blood tests themself. The rest have to be transported to test centers, often located at the larger hospitals. Current ground-based transportation logistics between hospitals is unorganized, inefficient, and costly. This new way of transportation will increase the frequency and flexibility of test delivery, as drones can be deployed on an as-needed basis, which will drastically improve the diagnosis process in districts. An analysis posten IEEE showed how drone transportation of biological samples could save the Danish authorities 300 MNOK/year. This commercial potential has been confirmed by our contact with health regions. We currently have three paying contracts: one with St. Olavs Hospital in Trondheim and two in Sweden. Besides our three commercial contracts, we have gotten requests from seven potential customers. To keep up with the demand from the market and take care of our current customers, we need to expand the team.

Chromologics is a Danish biotech spin-out from the Technical University of Denmark. We have developed a fungal biotech platform for the production of novel, natural colorants. Our proprietary fermentation process allows us to be first movers to introduce lab-grown food colorants to the market. Our production is sustainable, scalable and cost-competitive. Unlike other existing natural colors, our colorants are not extracted from high value raw materials like fruit and vegetables, but produced by our wild type cell factory.
