Multigenerational living that has been a tradition in countries such as Japan and Mediterranean countries is now much less common. A number of nations are experiencing a dramatic increase in the number of seniors living alone including Nordic countries. Challenge involves not only seniors but also family members. Adult children are facing unique pressures to care for their aging parent as well as their own family and children. This is a group of people generally aged thirty to sixty that are actively caring for generations both younger and older than their own, with the older generation sometimes living a far distance away. Our solution gives easy access to everyday communication between family members. Communication is both active and passive. Active videocalls and shared calendar support every day activities and increases users sense of belonging and personal autonomy. Passive sensor data creates trends and gives family members better understanding of activities of daily living. Our solution is a consumer product and designed for seniors use.

Buying second hand textbooks for your next subject should be as easy as just searching for the subject-code or sending a message to students that have previously taken the subject. Solving this problem will contribute to the circular economy in addition it will also result in reducing our carbon footprint as we’re using more second hand material. We’ll mainly focus on existing students, but our platform will also be hugely resourceful for pre- and post students.
