Currently we are working on the first danish digital platform specifically developed to provide art-owning businesses with an easy and cost-effective way to gain an overview of their art collections. The platform is based on automated features that safely guide the user through all necessary steps in the registration process. The platform has been developed by art conservators who have carefully selected the features to ensure a “need-to-know” registration process. The process is simple and efficient, ensuring that the business knows what artworks it has and where they are located. The tool is primarily used via smartphone, making it convenient to work with on-site. The collected data is stored in a database that can be accessed through both the app and a web browser. Once the company has an overview of its art, it opens up entirely new possibilities for activating and showcasing the value of the artworks.
