SilkOcean

SilkOcean is a spin-out of Ph.D. projects by students of AAU, DTU, and Chalmers specialized in Power Electronics design and Condition Based Monitoring solutions. At SilkOcean, we are focused on the introduction of chemical-free, zero-emission sustainable solutions. Our ideas and designs have been recognized and rewarded by business leaders and innovation sponsors, and foundations. Our team consists of highly educated and, at the same time, very industrial experienced members who at the same time value the friendly and fun working environment. We believe that doing our jobs in a distinctly innovative way is the key to our success.

HygiSan Solutions Finland

We provide disinfection solutions to both retail and commercial customers with no touch hand sanitiser stations, which are using 0% alcohol sanitiser, certified to be effective against SARS-CoV-2, Norovirus, MRSA, E.Coil and HygiTouch antimicrobial coatings as a service to the business. We have the distribution rights for Finland with all our unique products. At this stage, there have been few restrictions on hand sanitisers in Finland, and we believe that this will become more strict as time goes on. Our products and services provide safe facilities and a better customer experience with high quality. Sanitiser and protective coatings are very new to the markets, people and companies are not educated in this area, which the global pandemic has caused much confusion and rush to just put a solution in to satisfy the needs as cheap as possible. It has been proven that up to 80% of transmissions come from our hands, and using common alcogels with ethanol are not only destroying peoples hands but are harmful to the environment and are a major safety risk. Normal sanitisers are cheap but come at a hefty price when we know the damages they cause, this is very difficult to make the customers understand. Our presentation of products is to help in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and also look after peoples health. We know our products are the future and we are in the market at the right time to make the major change and awareness of using a safe sanitiser that is effective against germs and viruses. The Company Arcticode is developing an easy to use mobile order and payment service to help food and beverage venues capture feedback while at the same time creating better loyalty from guests by incentivizing feedback through loyalty points. The issue We solve an issue common in the bar, venue and club scene. Customer insight and feedback. There is often less dialogue between guests and staff, and guests these days demand more and more from every visit. This occurs especially in the younger generation starting with millennials and younger. They constantly seek the best experience and will move on from a venue quite fast if expectations are not meet. Most venues in both the food and beverage sector could benefit from having a simple solution to better capture feedback while at the same time providing a simple mobile order and payment solution. The Solution Our solution combines ordering and feedback into one service. The service lets you order and pay while out for food and drinks with your phone as this is becoming the preferred way today while also capturing feedback in-app which provides cash points. These can then be used for discounted meals, snacks, goods, drinks etc. (not alcoholic beverages – Norway edition). We create a win-win situation of having guests leave feedback while also being enrolled in a loyalty program which creates higher interest and recurring visits. Why we do what we do Having worked in the food and beverage service sector you may encounter a lot of less friendly feedback at times, but this is often individuals who do not represent the majority of guests. But when you just don’t know this can make a workday long and tiresome, and rarely inspire anyone to provide a better service. But regardless, you start to understand your guests even better, you can facilitate for an even better service and experience, and this will in turn create a better day for both staff and guest. As a guest, you simply want what you came for, a good experience and a good service. Regardless of what the situation for the staff is. Having a simple way to both order and leave feedback while gaining something from it will create a mutually beneficial situation. And that’s what we have in common. Cognifirm is a Danish tech company that uses AI to automate micro-processes and small tasks. We have created a personal process assistant that runs in your browser. This makes it possible for our customer to create many automation tasks fast and easy since our solution does not require any tech integration. We call it Robotics As A Service. We are established by Per Damgaard Husted, Per Tversted and Ramesh Ramesh Packirisamy.

Care Communicator Europe AB

We are creating a new and unique initiative within digital health with our vision “Make your own choices for your own health”. A digital health communications platform, Care Communicator, for international use that links the patient with the caregiver that simplifies the process to get quick and adequate health care outside the patient’s normal geographic border. Access through a smartphone, tablet or laptop. Useful both to the patient and caregiver. The Care Communicator (CC) project is a Freemium project. Problems to solve: A quick description of problems that the Care Communicator can alleviate/solve: There is no care intermediary linking different clinics, nationally or internationally. Both patients and caregivers are in obscurity regarding the possibility for care within the EU and even more obscure on a wider international scale Care varies depending on where you live. Using care quality as a choice for care is rare. Certain countries offer care guarantee (within X months) – this is often not transparent for patients. It is complicated to get the knowledge of which clinics are good with a specific treatment. It is complicated to get the knowledge of where the care queue is short. It is often difficult for patients to find the care they strive for. Solution: Our digital platform will help patients to find care at trusted alternative clinics in a simple way. Culmas

Work at Culmas is shaped around our coding cycles. They are around 4 weeks. They start with a kick-off, an improv class for the whole company and training sessions on any topics! Every two weeks, we also meet to discuss our processes and our performances. Those rituals are made to include everyone at Culmas and are important to us. Culmas is spawned out of the Improv Comedy Copenhagen Theatre.
