Disputas is a small tech startup based in Oslo. We come from language technology, robotics, and philosophy. On a grant from the Norwegian research council (NFR), we are currently in the process of developing a digital platform for textual analysis in the educational sector. This summer we started developing the core functionality of the platform, and the first module is aimed at argument analysis. Our plan for 2021 is to expand the platform with modules for syntactic analysis of words and sentences, semantic concept analysis, and a module for law studies and juridical case processing. The premise of the project is to design the platform and the various modules in such a way that use generates data of a kind that is applicable for training novel machine learning services in the field of natural language processing (NLP).

More than 10 years of experience - from pot to plate The maiden voyage of "M/S Donna" started deep in the Varanger fjord in early 2010, in Nesseby / Unjárga, Finnmark. After short calls at Vardø and Mehamn, we ended up at North Cape where we decided to live and become true fishermen with a lot of help from the local and very experienced fishermen. We fished for cod, pollock, haddock, and king crab on "M/S Donna" and later also on "M/S Dunderdonna" in the Porsanger fjord. During this time we also worked at different fish factories. The fishery ended in 2014. Knowing half of the king crabs were considered waste, I knew there was great potential and a better way of doing things - More sustainable and more circular. In 2016 I decided to bring MS Donna back to life with all the good things, except fishing - this time out from Oslo. Since then we have delivered premium products to some of the world's best restaurants. We are working for responsible consumption and production, decent work and economic growth, innovation, climate action, and partnership.

We want to develop games mostly for the more mature and educated gamers.

Inspired by Swedish non-discrimination agencies, we have started an agency that aims to work against harassment and discrimination. We will sell counseling, legal advice, and courses to primarily the private market. This income will fund free legal advice to those harassed or discriminated against. At the moment our main challenge is funding, in order to be able to work sufficiently with this project. The company was founded in February, we have an office, and we have legal expertise.

Vi løser dette gjennom Payrest ved at gjestene selv registrerer bestillingen og betalingen på sin egen mobiltelefon. Dette gir deg som restaurantdriver muligheten til å bruke mer tid på servering og service! Payrest skal levere fremtidens løsning for servicebransjen – og har fokus på å levere en bedre gjesteopplevelse. Sammen med innovasjonsselskapet Norsentio driver Yngvar og Jørn, Payrest Norge. Løsningen er klar til å gi solhungrige og corona-leie nordmenn en trygg og effektiv restaurantopplevelse sommeren 2021! Gjennom 2018 og 2019 ble det investert 10 millioner i løsningen, og brukerne er så langt godt fornøyde med det som er levert – men vi gir oss ikke med det. Selskapet backes også av Innovasjon Norge og Skattefunnordningen.
