There are nearly half a billion hobby gardeners who are missing a place to share their passion and provides smart tools for modern gardeners. Odla Mer will solve this problem by building an inspiring and engaged community that provides smart tools and insights from “crowd-sourced” data to help make gardening easy, sustainable, and pleasurable for modern gardeners. I found solace in gardening when I was dealing with severe anxiety and depression disorder. I missed an app that was dynamic to my growing conditions and helped covert online inspirations to plant care instructions easily. As a new gardener, it can get very overwhelming. I wanted to solve this problem to help many gardening enthusiasts to grow more with the least effort. I know we would rather spend the time gardening than fiddling with the app :D With every person we help garden more, we have a positive impact on their wellbeing, the environment, and society as a whole.

Grossisten Gro-inde ApS has become a melting pot of several branches. 1) We sell equipment for planting and maintaining plants to every green (and not-so-green) thumb. 2) We repackage Big Bags of perlite and vermiculite (also used for plants) and send them out to big companies that redistribute and sell them. 3) We deliver different types of services to customers. A dedicated and ever-expanding team of workers deals with assignments like cleaning apartments, construction work, clearing overgrown gardens, and much more. When Gro-inde started, there was a need for more variety in how people kept plants. So we began by selling equipment for plants' hydroponic, aeroponic, and aquaponic cultivation. CEO Cristina Melgarejo is our go-to plant and equipment expert. She founded the company in 2016 with a vision that everyone should be able to find alternate ways of keeping plants without it breaking their wallet. Now in 2023, we are a company with over ten employees. We have a physical shop, an office space, a production line, and a webshop, and we have an online presence on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

Helsinki-based digital marketing and language localization company SULONORTH was founded by Alina Lehtinen-Vela in 2019. Alina grew up in Finland’s Häme region and in the capital, Helsinki. After graduating with a degree in Scandinavian languages from the University of Helsinki, she spent a decade traveling the world and working in language localization, journalism, and marketing. Her writing has appeared in Finnish publications such as Mondo, Keskisuomalainen, Turun Sanomat and Etelä-Suomen Sanomat. Being a ‘digital nomad’ and working in a plethora of beach resorts, backstreet cafes, and border towns was fun though, alas, everyone grows up. The demand for localized digital marketing and direct engagement with online audiences was one of the reasons that she decided to set up shop back home in Finland. SULONORTH is now running at full throttle from a plant-filled office in Helsinki’s Lauttasaari district. Don’t stop her now! This isn’t to say Alina’s nomad days are entirely over. Based on knowledge and experience from parents and experts, we design product supporting children's needs and development. We are a Danish Company, and launched our first product in November 2021. We are now present in 22 retailers across Denmark and is looking forward to boost our brand awareness, launch more products and expand to new markets.
