Virksomhederne støttes, udover af core-teamet, med konsulentbistand på alt fra jura, patent, revision, test og teknik samt støttes desuden med CAD- og CAE-software og 3D-print. Vi har desuden et veludstyret værksted in-house med måleudstyr, håndværktøj, 3D-print og laser cutter, hvor prototyper kan tunes og debugges.

Marin Design is located in Kolvereid in Nord-Trøndelag County, and was founded in 2006. We are also qualified for certifying deck-mounted cranes. We have designed a series of different vessels, including service vessels for the fish farming industry, tugs and fishing vessels. In addition, we have experience in modifying existing vessels and specialized design of vessels for specific purposes. Picterus is an app under development designed to monitor jaundice in newborns. Untreated jaundice in newborns is responsible for more than 100,000 deaths and a substantial number of permanent brain damages each year. More than three quarters of these deaths occur in the poorest regions of the world, in sub-Saharan Africa and south Asia. Cheap treatment is available through e.g. sunlight, but the diagnostic devices in use today cost around 10,000 dollars, making them practically unavailable in low-resource settings.
