Monky Shine

Car owners need fast, convenient car washing. Monky solves this by offering on-demand service, arriving within an hour of booking thanks to our large fleet. Whether the customer is at work, home, or shopping, our solution provides a hassle-free experience using the most eco-friendly methods available, making urban car washing easy and sustainable. Monky Shine offers an eco-friendly, on-demand car wash service that arrives at the customer's location within an hour. Using our specially invented soap, we wash cars with only 0.4 liters of water. All equipment fits in a bike bag, allowing us to lower prices, reduce environmental impact, and provide fast, convenient service to customers.

Knitspot

Knitstop is a slow fashion project where finest natural materials and best craftsmanship meet contemporary sustainable designs, while unemployed skilful female artisans with immigrant background from Helsinki get a chance to get integrated economically and be empowered for their passion for crafts. Our summer collections consist of palm raffia and recycled T-shirt yarn bags, while in winter we concentrate on stylish and warm alpaca and angora beanies and super popular functional alpaca hoods. In 2024 we aimed to test and launch new revenue generating channels to ensure stable profit and growth during mid (march-may) and low (june-august) seasons: offline workshops and courses in Helsinki and online sales of digital products (tutorials, patterns, courses). We plan to concentrate on development, promotion and sales of our digital products based on existing patterns currently used by our knitters for manufacturing as this channel allows the project to scale and grow internationally. The core issue that Knitspot addresses lies within the broader crisis of modern fast fashion: average content of natural fibers in a fast fashion “woollen sweater” is just between 0-4%, supply chain is shady, production is run in countries with cheapest possible labour, quality is horrible, unwanted stuff is wasted. The downturns of the existing mass market system simply do not fit the criteria of mindful consumers. Our mission is to create a vibrant, DIY-fashion and sustainable knitwear brand that offers exclusive, limited-edition physical goods and one-of-a-kind knitwear design patterns. We are dedicated to fostering slow fashion principles by providing expert consultancy and offering both online and offline learning experiences for individuals and companies, including team-building events and therapeutic crafting sessions. Our goal is to cultivate a close-knit community of sustainable fashion enthusiasts and crafters, spreading joy and happiness through fiber crafts and the art of creative slow living.

KidCBox AB

KidCBox is developing DIY prenumerations to help families with children spend some quality time while developing the kids C skills. In a qualitative statistical analysis, we collected data that most families do not know how to entertain their kids over a longer period of time at home. This tends to let parents use digital tools in an unbalanced way which has its own proven negative effects on child developement. The nature of the children that want to try all the time new things has led families to spend loads of money on expensive toys which teach children already at young ages to be consumers. Besides they do not bind to anything when the variety is too much. We have put all these together and prepared around 150 ideas for families to try and build some meaningful moments together. This stimulates childrens C skills: curiosity, critical thing, collaboration and communication. Besides these activities will balance out the digital world and family time. This whole idea kicked in during Corona time when all families where isolated at homes with their kids and they absolutely had no tools to use for spending that time together. Coming from an artistic family, my friends reached out to me to get support in a form of online art teaching. Although those were some extreme years, the problem still exists.

Each Jam is a 7 min game driven by student questions and answers. When the game ends, all questions and answers are displayed in an interactive wordcloud. Question Jam is operated by the non-profit The Question Collective - based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The AI software collects data across all news sites in Denmark 24/7, thereby creating a fully encompassing news platform that can solve a lot of problems for companies and brands. The platform features useful tools which include a news search engine, surveillance of keywords, a variety of search functions to provide a fast and purposeful news overview, and much, much more. kupla.io not only provides our users with insight and access to all news sites in Denmark, all in one place. It is also a contribution to change the way companies look at news. “News articles are published in unfathomable numbers, on more platforms than ever.” Kupla is contributing to advancing a purposeful and insightful news overview, detached from algorithms, click bait and hidden agendas. Our mission is to provide media transparency, which has all but disappeared today. When searching on Google or clicking on a news site, one often wonders: Why are these articles shown? Is it because of algorithms? Click bait? Hidden agendas? – or actual relevance? Is it original journalism or reposted content from somewhere else? Our platform empowers our users by providing them with the ability to navigate in the news without questioning any of the above. “The news are a societal phenomenon that we can learn a lot from.“ The infrastructure we are building for our AI models is unique in the way it has the capacity to manage and store information about the whole world of media. The structuring of news data allows us to explore the societal phenomenon that news are. By enabling our AI models to learn more about the news, we are teaching AI’s about human society as a whole. In LiveEquipe we are developing a monitoring and visualization system for riders, making it possible to get live data on how they are positioning and impacting on the horse. The data will get stored and data processing will be made so the rider can see their challenges and improvements over time. The system should help riders improve their performance to heighten the welfare for horses.
