Rådet for Grøn Omstilling er en uafhængig miljøorganisation, der arbejder for at fremme en grøn og bæredygtig omstilling af samfundet. Det gør vi ved at skabe og formidle viden om grønne løsninger og ved at påvirke politikere, virksomheder og borgere til at træffe grønne valg. Vi har været på den grønne bane i mere end 30 år og har bidraget med viden, løsningsforslag og folkelig oplysning og debat, der tilsammen har været med til at trække samfundet i en grønnere og mere bæredygtig retning. Consulting firm McKinsey found that Knowledge workers still spend 19% of their time searching for and gathering information everyday. That’s 90 minutes per working day, or almost a full working day per week is spent on searching and gathering information. (That’s four days per month, adding up to one and a half month per year) What if we can make it easier for Knowledge workers, people at Colleges & Universities and even for People with Hobbies & Passions, reduce their pain points and help them become more productive? RiskWave

RiskWave is a new maritime IT start-up ! RiskWave goal is to make a new IT software platform, to help and assist many levels of industries in making work related risk assessments and reduce work accidents and costs there by. RiskWave is to start making risk assessments to the maritime industry. Today making Risk Assessments are time consuming and the hard job is often left over to people a side and not work leader and worker. Making a Risk Assessments before work is started are not fully integrated onboard all ships, due to - Time consuming of making Risk Assessment - Lack of knowledge on how to identify work hazards - Multi-culture Crew can have deffilculty safety culture - Minimum safe manning/Crew onboard Other problems related to work accidents onboard are - Wrongly or incorrect use of Personal Protective Equipment - Handling and storage of chemicals used onboard, correct handling of Safety Data Sheets updating chemical database. - Superficial review of risk assessments. RiskWave’s goal is provide work leaders and workers with easy step-by-step risk assessments make it possible for work leader to quickly identify work hazards and create high usable Risk Assessment.

We bring nightlife in the customers' pockets by providing them will all the necessary details about a city's nightlife for example happy hours, student offers, ongoing promotions ,events, festivals. We partner with different bars, nightclubs and event organizers to ensure we have information that is relevant, correct and always up to date. Our purpose is to create amazing, fun and unforgettable nightlife experiences.

Skills to the Future

Skills to the Future, is developing a digital learning platform to help schools to provide supplementary STEM courses in topics where they lack the resources or competence. We think that our present education could be better. Now the content comes more from looking in the rear mirror, than through the windshield. It should take better account of the constant acceleration of our living environment. We want to help the schools to provide our youth education that trends to the future as much as possible. We cannot exactly tell what skills in 10 years are needed, but we can make good guesses and at least show them in the right direction. Our obligation is to give our youth a kick and a spark starting to learn new skills for the future. How we differentiate ourselves from the other course providers? Our pillars 4 are: #1 The quality of pedagogy first We align, curate, and orchestrate all our course material to achieve pedagogic competence and meet the quality requirements of the ‘Finnish Education Standards’. #2 The how: Blended project-based learning with a flipped approach Digital courses mostly rely only on the delivery of educational material. Our digital platform relies on blended open-ended project-based learning with a flipped approach. That means that also we deliver the educational material online but that’s only one-half of what we do. We also deliver teacher/educator lead workshops, Q&As. We want to ensure that the student really can utilize the information given and convert that to skills by practicing aka by doing homework. Just watching videos and answering some quizzes gives you the illusion you have now learned a skill! #3 High impact needs high completion rates By following and complying with the Finnish pedagogical guidelines we aim to raise the completion rate from Udemy like under 10% to over 80%. A raise in engagement is achieved also with help from our 4th pillar. #4 Co-operating and collaborating with the schools We aim to co-operate with the schools by trying to include our courses in each school’s learning curricula and embed them in the school’s teaching environment. We also aim to collaborate with schools by co-creating courses on topics they want. Searching co-workers with a calling I have been working on this project for a couple of years quite loosely. Soon, when the Helsinki Education Hub starts and opens its doors, we are applying to the EdTech Incubator program. So now is the time to onboard and start the cruise, isn’t it? A person on my wish list for co-founders and early team members could be: - a teacher, educator, course builder, or at least be interested in or somewhat familiar with pedagogy. Curating the courses would be one of the tasks - a tech guy who would run and tackle the Learning Management System or Virtual Learning Environment in all its complexities - a hacker, data guy, designer, or whoever who would join testing and building the product/service in the right direction and helping it grow - an audio/video person who would be in building the courses and participating in the marketing activities broadly understood - a content provider because we are going to build ourselves only some MVP’s - there are many other jobs and tasks you could do, so practically anyone who is self-motivated is welcomed to join! My primary target is to have an impact on my activities. Even though money helps in living, I would rather make a ding in the education universe than get wealthy. I prefer diversity in age, gender, and nationality and I am searching for like-minded people who want to share my calling. I am not inviting you to join right away. Working as a co-founder is like marriage, you just can’t quit when you feel like it. Therefore, it’s best for both parties just to make a small project together and after the experiment, we know how we like to proceed. Supplybase is a platform which streamlines activities related to outsourcing of part manufacturing. If you can order your favourite pizza online in 5 minutes - why does it then have to be such a time-consuming and frustrating process to order a piece of lasercut metal or a 3D printed prototype? While the B2C industry is becoming increasingly digitalized, utilizing data to optimize inventory, product flow and customer engagement, the B2B industry is lagging behind. This is especially true within the industrial order-producing companies, where many companies have little online presence, and in the industry, only 19% have websites with online purchase options. The ambition of Supplybase is to become a multisided platform, where purchasers, engineers and hobbyists can identify, trade with, and review the many order-producing suppliers of metal, plastic, and 3D printed parts. This is done by improving the process from identification and request for quotation, to purchase and repurchase in an easy and streamlined online experience. Using this platform, the order producing companies can capture and use their own data, gathered during the quotation/purchase/repurchase process, in an easily understandable manner. How do we achieve this? We start by creating a searchable platform. The we build the tools to help both sides of the transaction, to achieve a smooth purchase process. We are building a VR solution to teach driving for students in a more effecient, affordable and fun way. Our main idea is to complement the current system to teach driving with a simulator that can be combined with physical classes to reduce cost and enhance students learning journey as they aim to get their driving license.

Vår historie Mikalsen Utvikling ble stiftet av Andrè Mikalsen i 2015. Etter mange år med utvikling av nettsider ble det ofte et tomrom og ønske om å bidra mer når nettsidene var ferdig levert. Spørsmålet som hele tiden dukket opp var om kunden faktisk kunne få enda flere besøkende til siden. Selv om nettsidene så grafisk bra ut, var de optimale for konvertering til salg? Dermed startet ferden inn i markedsføring og de digitale kanalene. Etter mange kurs og sene netter ved siden av full jobb, var det på tide å omsette teori til praksis. Vår første kunde fikk over 30 nye kunder den første måneden, og måtte ansette 2 nye medarbeidere for å håndtere den drastisk økende kundestrømmen. Å levere digital markedsføring med slike enormt positive resultater, er så sterkt for oss at vi aldri kommer til å slutte å skape resultater. Å være med på å endre livene til menneskene bak bedriftene er en ubeskrivelig rørende følelse. I dag har vi et sterkt fokus på å hjelpe små og mellomstore bedrifter, da våre tjenester kan utgjøre en stor forskjell i bedriftens hverdag.

Fysionett - Din fysioterapeut på nett

Vi skal gjøre fysioterapi mer tilgjengelig ved å samle online booking for fysioterapitjenester i én landsdekkende plattform. Hovedfokus skal være å tilrettelegge for booking av videokonsultasjon, chat og hjemmebesøk, men også ordinær timebooking. On-demand tjenester kan også være aktuelt. Eksisterende bookingtjenester, og journalsystemene som tilbyr dem, er i dag preget av utdatert UI/UX og tilbudet for sluttbrukere er fragmentert og lite brukervennlig fordi mange terapeuter finner det for kostbart å implementere. Fysionett skal gjøre bookingprosessen enklere, raskere og rimeligere for både klienter og terapeuter. Sluttbrukere vil få et langt bedre tilbud, mens fysioterapeutene på sin side vil nå ut til et landsdekkende marked. Fysionett vil også gjøre det mulig for nyetablerte eller terapeuter som nettopp har fullført utdanning å selge sin kompetanse uten å være tilknyttet en klinikk eller arbeidsgiver. Fysionett skal bli Norges første og største plattform for online fysioterapi hvor fysioterapeuter fra hele landet kan registrere seg, opprette en profil og tilby sine tjenester til kunder over hele landet. Forretningsmodellen bygger på tjenesteformidling i et tosidig marked, ikke veldig ulikt plattformer som Uber, Lyft eller AirBnb og retter seg hovedsakelig mot det private markedet. Den pågående COVID-19 pandemien har fungert som en katalysator for denne ideen. Siden plattformen tilrettelegger for at terapeuter skal nå ut til sine kunder i form av videokonsultasjon og chat. På denne måten får de muligheten til å opprettholde sin virksomhet mens pandemien pågår.
