Edgy Systems AB – Making Energy Systems Work Together Overview Edgy Systems AB is building a hardware-agnostic monitoring and management platform for distributed energy assets such as solar panels, batteries, heat pumps, and HVAC systems. The platform provides a unified interface that allows installers, service companies, and multi-tenant building owners to monitor, analyze, and optimize the performance of their installations, regardless of manufacturer or protocol. By integrating all assets into a single ecosystem, Edgy Systems helps installers save valuable technician hours each week, prevents asset downtime, and builds trust with customers through transparency and actionable insights. The Problem The transition to electrified and distributed energy systems is accelerating, but the digital management layer has not kept pace. Today, both installers and property owners face major inefficiencies: For Installers: - They must use multiple OEM portals to monitor the assets they install, one for heat pumps, another for solar panels, batteries, EV chargers, and so on. Switching between these platforms wastes several technician hours every week and complicates workflow management. - Lack of central alerts: Installers often fail to notice when a system is underperforming or has an active alarm because there is no unified feedback mechanism. - Scaling limitations: The installation business is inherently resource-intensive. We've developed the Lumina Pulse MVP as an alternative to classic media monitoring, media analysis, and communication insight companies, instead focusing on seeing the bigger picture. It’s designed to highlight trends, spot patterns and reveal the movements shaping markets. The idea was, that your classic media watch gives you coverage; Lumina Pulse gives you clarity. It should be simple, affordable and laser-focused on delivering what you actually need; insight, not noise. It should be easy to set up and get started in minutes. And fully customisable; pick the sources, decide the focus, provide the context and let the platform do the rest. The MVP is developed in close collaboration with a leading Danish design bureau to ensure it’s perfectly aligned with the needs of its core audience. Currently, and technically, it’s a piece of intelligent software, combined with AI and a lot of media APIs, and of course some clever code tying it all together. The goal was to develop this MVP into Lumina Pulse; a simple, AI-powered SaaS platform for anyone who wants to keep a close eye on trends, companies or products across open-web media.
