Getting ready and setting up equipment can feel like a time drain. Cables, microphones, and obtrusive stands get in the way of natural conversations. Laborious editing and audio cleanup distract you from being creative with the content. Faced with heaps of hurdles and complexities, even the most experienced creators sacrifice quality when crafting a story. We have created a portable recording studio that offers high quality audio recording and processing, consisting of a compact and easy to use recording kit (microphones, recording unit, charging station) controlled with a mobile app, as well as a web app supplying the ecosystem for processing it (offered as a SaaS solution). Our end goal and mission is to go beyond the value creation for lawyers and accountants and also create real value for small and medium-sized businesses. This we aim to accomplish through an AI Lawyer. However, there is probably a really long time before this is a reality. The AI lawyer should work on top of the existing platform that we already have created and the red-flagging functionality build into the system. We have built an algorithm for finding and recognizing patterns on the "whiteboard". Thus, if we through NLP and deep learning are able to create graph data structures through text analysis, we can generate red flags from legal texts. NAUST Robotics upgrades agriculture with autonomous drones. The main problem we are solving is bird damage on farms, which can easily be 50-70% if the land is close to the water. As current bird scaring techniques are ineffective in the long run, farmers are exposed to damage, losing over 50.000 EUR per 100 Ha (wheat fields). We solve this with an autonomous drone flying over the fields, equipped with speakers. Emitting special sounds that birds recognize as danger, we will push them out of the crops, back to natural areas where they can feed without conflict. A landing platform laying on the field will recharge and shelter the drone, allowing the whole system to operate autonomously. Furthermore, the user will be able to check the real time status and modify the settings from our mobile app! Additionally, in the future we aim to equip special cameras on the bottom of the drone to collect high quality periodical images for crop monitoring practices. This will lead to save time and resources for the farmer, such as tons of chemical pesticides thrown to the field without knowledge. Our vision is to implement affordable autonomous drone solution to automate simple tasks and save time for society.
