Qaptale

Qaptale is a brand-spanking new NFT-startup, creating the future marketplace for in-game items (weapons, skins, gear, consumables, animations, etc.) on the Flow blockchain. We are looking for AMBITIOUS crypto-nuts: Talented web-developers, designers, mobile-developers, backend-developers, UI and UX specialists, and of course growth-hackers / digital marketeers (indeed so) are all welcome to reach out. But first and foremost, we're looking a CTO and/or talented Swift-developers, who can quickly learn the Cadence language, in order to build our platform, and the integration with Flow. --- THIS IS WHAT'S UP --- Buying and selling in-game (virtual) items has grown into a $50B market (according to Juniper Research), and is growing at nearly 14% per year vs. 10% growth in the overall gaming market. However it is currently plagued by much fraud and uncertainty. Furthermore, ownership is riddled with challenges, and is very hard to document and prove — making circumstances for legitimate transactions far from optimal. By leveraging innovative NFT tech on the blockchain, Qaptale is about to change all this. Owning an NFT is basically like owning a piece of the internet. A “Non-fungible token” (non = not, fungible = interchangeable, token = voucher) is a distinct, easily verifiable digital asset, that can represent everything from virtual real estate, to The Orb of Osuvox. NTFs are perfect for legitimising the trade of in-game items, and the timing to create the means to do so is perfect: The NFT market is simply blowing up right now. It tripled in 2020 to $250+ million (according to Emerging Tech Brew). But no one is grabbing the biggest opportunity out there — the emerging (and literally game-changing) industry of Mixed and Virtual Reality, and the explosive count down for coming into its true potential with the roll-out of 5G! --- BUSINESS MODEL --- As a marketplace, we will naturally sell listings. Like eBay, we will also take a cut in the transaction-business across the marketplace (as they do with PayPal). But this is where the similarity ends, because we will also be creating a new currency, meaning we will be unleashing an entirely new economy in its own right. Like Satoshi Nakamoto and Vitalik Buterin, we will literally be creating our own money out of thin air, and then accelerate its value by means of its utility and usefulness. Adding to that, all major game publishers will be minting their in-game assets via our platform, which of course also will be a mutually lucrative endeavour. A partnership with one of the largest cross-platform game engines in the world, will ensure a dominant market position, and will grow the userbase of our marketplace faster than you can say blitzscale. --- OUR GOAL --- Qaptale is aiming for an ICO in 2022, but first we need to set the team that can take us there. Our strategy is to raise a small amount of seed capital, that will take the ICO to a best-case scenario, by means of rallying passionate gamers to opt-in early, and be rewarded with our token Playthora (PLA, ᚦ), that in turn can be used on the Qaptale marketplace as a Flow token equivalent, or converted to other currencies on popular crypto currency exchanges, such as Binance and Coinbase. Coherra

COHERRA is a distribution-focused fintech media company on a path to creating YouTube for finance. We are working with pioneers in the financial industry to bring forward the future of asset management communication and content distribution – turning rarely-read written reports into dynamic video content best suited for the investors of today. But while YouTube is only a vessel, we are a catalyst of video content. We do not only aggregate financial video content in the style of media outlets such as Bloomberg TV. We also distribute the video content onto various platforms and channels to reach new investor audiences and networks. Today, everybody can be an investor – and Coherra serves all investors of various demographic groups that want to access financial insights on video. Through our use of AI and machine learning, we recognize the needs of the investor audience and deliver personalized content relevant for the investors’ interests. On our two-sided marketplace, asset managers will publish cutting-edge research in their sectors of expertise along with engaging video profiles of their investment products. Delivering impactful video content that is more easily accessible and digested by investors will increase their engagement with current and potential investors. In turn, investors will gain access to relevant and expert financial information. This will create a cooperative community where value is exchanged, and investor interests are matched with global asset management offerings and intelligence communicated in video form.

Vinden Storage

Vinden was founded in 2017 and today operates in both Stockholm and Oslo. We at Vinden thought traditional storage was unnecessarily complicated and needed a proper update. Why should one have to drive back and forth to a storage room when we can get most things delivered to the door at the push of a button? Our goal is to simplify how we store our things and we work actively to be part of a sustainable society. This means, among other things, changing how housing is built and how we manage our things overall. By freeing up space that is currently used for storage in cities, the surface can instead be used for attic, office space or public living areas. Cities are for people, not unused things!

Their problem is represented by difficulty to get good products for their activity, which will help them to be more focused on that activity which they are doing it. Hjælp Til Pårørende ApS

Hjælp Til Pårørende blev stiftet i 2018 af Anika & Henrik, der begge to har oplevet, hvor hårdt det er at være pårørende. I dag har virksomheden eget kontor i Århus C på 140 kvm, en professionel bestyrelse med Stine Bosse som formand, og har lukket den første store investering. Vores team er ungt og frisk, så hverdagen er præget af høj energi, godt humør og mange sociale stunder, mens vi målrettet og ambitiøst arbejder hårdt for at forbedre livet for pårørende. Hvorfor pårørende? Pårørende er en kendt, og dokumenteret højrisikogruppe, der udgør 38% af den danske befolkning. Hver fjerde bliver selv syg som direkte konsekvens. Langt de fleste pårørende er hårdt pressede, og mange har hverken tid eller mulighed for at møde fysisk op, eller at modtage behandling indenfor de normale arbejdstider. I stedet søger de hjælp på nettet, som er det eneste tilgængelige på de skæve tidspunkter– og her møder de korte generiske skriv om, at de skal passe på sig selv. Tilbage står den pårørende, magtesløs med spørgsmålet ”Hvordan!?”. Med vores App kan den pårørende få faglig relevant hjælp og støtte på alle tider af døgnet uden ventetid – med handlingsorienterede løsninger og værktøjer, der guider dem til hvordan de håndtere den givne situation. De er uafhængige af deres fysiske placering, og oplever at få den hjælp de har brug for, når de har brug den. Vi har brugt flere år på at analysere og kortlægge, hvad pårørende mangler for at undgå sygemeldinger og tidlig afgang fra arbejdsmarkedet. Hver fjerde pårørende bliver selv syg med stress eller depression som direkte konsekvens af deres rolle som pårørende. Pårørende har brug for psykologisk førstehjælp med høj kvalitet og tilgængelighed - tidligt! Det handler i høj grad om, at vi griber individerne med den rigtige hjælp inden det bliver kritisk. Derfor har vi skabt ét samlet univers, hvor pårørende får al den hjælp de har brug.

Business Battlefield

Business Battlefield is a sprouting organisation consisting of volunteer students who aim to inspire, challenge and Shape the Leaders of Tomorrow. The organisation is part of the society CBS Case Competition and was founded back in 2017. Business Battlefield is an innovative leadership competition for students taking place in November. The first week of November will be one big orange party with events happening online and/or at different Copenhagen Business School locations. During this week a selected number of participants will receive training from our expert partners to prepare for the competition on the final day. During the year we also aim to host a series of inspiring talks and workshops with influential leaders for all students. The purpose of Business Battlefield is to offer students an inspiring experience and opportunity to exploit and challenge their leadership skills. The concept bridges the theoretical knowledge from academia with real-life leadership challenges preparing the participants for a career as a leader. We want Business Battlefield to be the first of its kind in challenging the contemporary characteristics of a leader. In a world where disruption, environmental issues, artificial intelligence and constant innovation are the most discussed business topics, we strive to identify the individuals that have the potential to successfully enter the world of leaders and make a change. Pepbercorn is developing a stockphoto portal to help businesses and blog owners and whoever might need it solve the need for professional photos with pay per photo concept instead of a subscription. The motivation for the project comes from a desire to help companies and others with images where the user rights have been secured and which are easier to deal with than common similar services, as there is no ongoing subscription. Pepbercorn er ved at udvikle en stockfoto portal for at hjælpe virksomheder og bloggere - og hvem, der måtte have brug for det - med adgang til billeder taget af professionelle fotografer mod engangsbetaling pr. billede i stedet for et løbende abonnement. Motivationen til projektet kommer sig af en lyst til at hjælpe virksomheder og andre med billeder, hvor man har sikret sig brugerrettighederne og som er nemmere at have med at gøre end gængse lignende tjenester, idet der ikke er tilknyttet et løbende abonnement.
