VAMØ is a new approach to purchasing furniture in a era where online shopping is advancing at an enormous rate. The online market for funiture is only now getting started in Norway, and we are a part of it. Our main focus are four brands who focus on sustainability and recycled materials. And we are able to provide these to clients who live in such remote areas that they do not have access to these.

"Reuse 4 Change" is a B2B and B2C business that through a marketplace (something similar to DBA but for business) aims to connect resources/goods that are not needed anymore for some people or companies with others who need/are interested on buying them. Imagine a restaurant or a hotel that is closing/re designing and wants to sell or get rid of the furniture, and at the same time an entrepreneur who is opening a food truck and needs to buy affordable tables and chairs. Briefly speaking, the problem we aim to solve is that due to the high consumption rates nowadays many resources are becoming waste. Nonetheless, there is no need to dispose them as they can be reuse by others so in the end Reuse4Change will be the connection between supply and demand of these resources.

First of all, we have a passion for entrepreneurship and wanted to build a company. A company with a sustainable business model, and where people can be happy and thrive. We also saw that small multi-room and smart speakers are becoming increasingly popular, but they mostly come in black, white and gray. Through qualitative studies we identified the need to change the look of these speakers, and realised it could be done through speaker covers. Since then we have also seen the need to personalise home electronics in general. We hope that being able to change the look of home electronics and applicances will increase their lifespan and reduce waste. This leads us to sustainability, which is an important aspect of what we do. We want to find ways that our business can contribute to the Agenda 2030 goals. Canvas for Sonos One is manufactured under fair working conditions in the EU, using fabric that’s certified according to EU-ecolabel and Indoor advantage gold. We also believe in diversity and fair working conditions at Celora Studio. We’re only two people in the team so far, but we’re diverse when it comes to age and ethnicity. We’re aware of our own biases, and strive to use unbiased and scientifically proven methods in everything from setting salaries to recruitment and promotions.
