Consulting firm McKinsey found that Knowledge workers still spend 19% of their time searching for and gathering information everyday. That’s 90 minutes per working day, or almost a full working day per week is spent on searching and gathering information. (That’s four days per month, adding up to one and a half month per year) What if we can make it easier for Knowledge workers, people at Colleges & Universities and even for People with Hobbies & Passions, reduce their pain points and help them become more productive? We passed our BETA test with flying colors and are now gearing up for go-to-market and need to start recruiting more people to help us make it easier for the many people to join us on our mission. Our online/mobile platform provides tools for searching, locating, and booking treatments as well as making real-time reservations and paying for services, which cuts down on administrative work and increases time spent with customers.

Newcycle

We are building Newcycle, because we want to end the throw-away society.   Every year our global society throw away 100 billion tonnes of materials. This obviously can't continue. At the the core of this issue lies a general perception that new things are more valuable than things we already own. Or that things new from the store is better than buying it used from someone else. We believe that if it was easier for people to treat the things they own better, keeping them maintained and in mint condition, this perception would change. We started Newcycle on an ambition to kickstart a circular revolution in retail and consumerism. The way we exploit our planet’s resources needs to change. The way we buy things needs to change. And the way we own things needs to change. With the Newcycle app, consumers can create an inventory of everything they own, to get an overview of their products. It's free to use the app, and we offer additional paid services, like reselling their used items. By giving consumers access to digital twins of everything they own, we make it easier for our users to maintain, repair, refine, buy and sell their products, regardless of whether they are the 1st, 2nd or 8th owner of a product. In the app The Newcycle app connects the owner of a product with the retailer who sold it and the producer who made it, for the entire life span of the product, benefiting both the consumers and the producers of the products. The positive result is longer use of the products and in the end recycling. We won’t change the world all by ourselves, but looking back ten, twenty or forty years from now, we’ll see that our role was a central one. MĀDI was created with the mission to reduce textile waste in the fashion industry and change consumer behavior. We want to give clothing brands a new perspective on customer data to help them make better data-driven decisions throughout their business operations. Furthermore, we want to make it easier for consumers to act with a circular mindset when it comes to their clothing and closet items through resale, repair, and recycling. The Digital ID is attached to individual products, allowing brands to follow the lifecycle of their garments after they are sold. This opens up new business opportunities with new options for their customers, as well as gives their brand credibility and reduce counterfeit risks through authentication. The industry is changing, where digitization can be leveraged to help brands be resilient to the changing economy and environment. By engaging the consumer to shift their behavior in how they use products and after-use activities, we can transform the fashion industry to reduce textile waste.

Newsec Maps

Newsec Maps is developing a web-based SaaS platform to help the Nordic commercial real estate (CRE) industry turn data into opportunities. Digitalization is a new term in the CRE industry, even though it's one of the world's largest asset class. The fact that it's such a big industry with huge value being transacted and managed, makes information and the speed of information extremely valuable. But today, most companies are subscribing to multiple different public sources, agency brokers, manual processes and personal networks to receive information used in decision-making. Newsec Maps collects, merge and enrich data from legal, property and commercial sources and makes it accessible in a modern map-based user interface. The platform saves countless hours of manual labour and makes it easy for CRE companies to discover opportunities and manage assets. The CRE industry physically shapes the cities we live and breath in. It's a conservative industry, all though not resistant to change. The potential for more efficient urban development and infrastructure is huge and achievable through digitalizing the industry. Meaning we can help shape cities by making information available and developing solutions that provides insights hidden in the data. This is what motivated us to start this company and develop Newsec Maps. At the time of posting, we are a team of 6 in Oslo and 12 consultants located in Europe. We are now growing the Oslo team and are actively searching for talented and motivated members.
