Venture Factory

VENTURE FACTORYVenture Factory was founded in the fall of 2012 in Oslo, Norway with a straightforward goal: turning ideas into business. Our core competence is e-commerce, technology, and performance marketing. We use our skills to start new companies together with strategic partners, other entrepreneurs, or within our own organization. Since then we’ve involved ourselves in a range of ideas. Some have blossomed and turned into prosperous businesses, while others have been challenging and ultimately put to rest. We believe our understanding of technology and online marketing combined with a unique domain insight is the recipe for success and therefore we partner up with entrepreneurs or larger corporations to pursue new business opportunities. Our portfolio consists of a mix of businesses. Some are consultancies where external clients benefit from our competence and others are tech or e-commerce ventures that we have started alone or together with partners. Diinef AS

Diinef is a small company started in 2013 by three engineers. The business concept is sales of electronically controlled valve systems for large hydraulic motors. The valves control the connection between each individual motor cylinder and high- and low-pressure, thereby making the motors controllable and increasing power and efficiency significantly. The product is unique and belongs to the growing technology area of digital hydraulics. We have partners in the areas of motor manufacturing and maritime- and offshore equipment. Throughout 2017 we are developing and testing valves, electronics, and software to finalize the first product, and in parallel, we work with equipment manufacturers to develop application examples and methods. Diinef's founders are employees of the company. We are one Norwegian and two Danes working out of three different locations in Norway and Denmark with a business address in Kristiansand. Our ages are between 30 and 53. Electronic communication, cloud-based documentation, and some travel activity is part of our daily life. So are flexibility and self-motivation. We are looking for a profile to strengthen our team in the area of electronics and software.

Garden is a development automation platform for Kubernetes and cloud native applications. The widespread adoption of cloud native technologies such as containers and Kubernetes has made it easier than ever to operate and scale applications. But important developer workflows have been overlooked or neglected along the way. Many developers find that they’re now less productive than they were before the cloud native era. Developers working on distributed microservices applications have been left without an efficient way to build, run tests, and iterate in a production-like environment. Garden makes it easy to spin up production-like environments for development, testing, and CI, and to use the same workflows for every stage of the process. With Garden, developers get fast feedback exactly when they need it, and DevOps teams are no longer bogged down with provisioning and managing ad hoc environments.

Connecting Grounds ApS

Connecting Grounds is a food start-up based in Aarhus that up-cycles spent coffee grounds (a.k.a. coffee waste) into a food ingredient for B2B snack and confectionary companies and restaurants. Why do we do it? 1. Environment Spent coffee grounds are often treated as waste. Think about how many cups of coffee you or the people around you drink per day. All the coffee waste from drinking coffee adds to the Greenhouse Gas Emissions. 2. Nutritional Value When we brew our cup of coffee, we are only taking advantage of 1% of coffee's nutrients. 99% of these nutrients stay in the spent coffee grounds. These nutrients include caffeine, dietary fibre, proteins and valuable minerals. What we do is change the narrative behind hidden food waste by starting with coffee by-products. By up-cycling such a product, we evert emissions, take advantage of our resources and raise awareness on the importance of up-cycling. Rethinking food is what we do, and we will not stop with coffee by-products. We will continue to search for resources/ingredients that have the potential of being reintroduced in the food stream, again.

Formify

Formify helps small and middle-sized companies to legally sign digital documents in Europe. Supporting the EU-regulation eIDAS (for e-signatures) we target the ease of doing cross border business. With a disruptive price modell we do not see that a signed document should cost more than a stamp and envelope. Since dec 2019 with have focused on a real cost effective development with a small team and have passed MVP. We are now scaling our journey to country after country in their native language. Competitors or colleagues in the segment have build platforms that are too hard to understand and not user friendly as you expect from applications today. Too many platforms are build on the need for demos with long sales cycles. In our world, complex things are easy to use! Formalizes the way we sign. (guess where our name come from:-)

E.g., furniture stores, tile and bathroom sellers, window and door manufacturers. Our technology consists of hardware and software. Hardware that is installed on location. e.g., cameras, locks. Software in the form of an App that businesses can access all their needs for running their showroom. We believe the market for our product is enormous. The improvement we are bringing to the market is in order of magnitude greater than previous solutions. The world needs this and we see almost endless opportunities ahead.

Trying to figure out the market for student accommodation options in Copenhagen is confusing and time-consuming. That is why students need to understand the different processes and opportunities to best plan their study life. At Kbh-kollegier.dk we collect all the necessary information regarding the housing market for students in Copenhagen. We have developed a tool to show you the housing opportunities you have. An interactive map shows 275 establishments with more than 30.000 different student accommodations options. Click and select your study information to get a quick and easy overview of your opportunities. We highlight the most important features of the student accommodation options to make it easy for you to determine which apartment, studio, facilities, and community are best for your needs.
