We believe the key to solving the world's two billion waste problem is to motivate people and companies to reduce waste and benefit from the circular economy. We do this by integrating data from all types of digital hardware to understand where waste comes from, and we use this data to reward sustainable behaviour. Our company was born in the waste industry and designed to change it. During the past year, we've launched a new brand, started building an insane team, won the Proptech Award 2021, and gone from 1 to 10 customers. All regulatory winds blow our way and we're ready to conquer the world.

3D Estate is a 3D design agency based in Oslo. We offer photo-realistic 3D rendering, animation and VR experience. We work with some of the greatest architects and developers in Norway. Disputas is a small tech startup based in Oslo. We come from language technology, robotics, and philosophy. On a grant from the Norwegian research council (NFR), we are currently in the process of developing a digital platform for textual analysis in the educational sector. This summer we started developing the core functionality of the platform, and the first module is aimed at argument analysis. Our plan for 2021 is to expand the platform with modules for syntactic analysis of words and sentences, semantic concept analysis, and a module for law studies and juridical case processing. The premise of the project is to design the platform and the various modules in such a way that use generates data of a kind that is applicable for training novel machine learning services in the field of natural language processing (NLP).

Based in Kongsberg - the heart of the Subsea Valley - Kongsberg Ferrotech is utilizing world-leading competence to develop the first-ever automated solution, the Oktapous, for riser cleaning, NDT inspection, maintenance (coating), and structural repair (glass/carbon fiber reinforcement). The repair will be performed inside the patented Habitat - allowing for composite repairs subsea and in the splash zone while offering quality as if the repair was performed in a laboratory environment. The Oktapous will offer the client around 50% cost reduction, together with improved quality and significantly reduced HSE risk compare to existing solutions by removing the need for rope access, divers, and ROVs. Kongsberg Ferrotech is partly funded by the Malaysian-based oil and gas company, Petronas Charigali. This ensures us access to the market needs during development, an offshore platform for prototype testing, and the critical first client for market acceptance.
