Our main innovation is a user-friendly, portable flood barrier designed to protect communities from flooding. Developed and patented by our team, this effective solution has already been adopted in Norway, Germany, and Spain. As we continue to grow and adapt, Haawal Engineering remains dedicated to finding accessible and inventive ways to help communities face the realities of climate change.

Project Nord

Project Nord is an exciting art print start-up based in Copenhagen. The posters we produce are minimalist, Scandinavian-style designs on premium quality paper. En virksomhed der elsker dyr! Monisskildpadder er en virksomhed med rod i det gamle fjends kommune. Virksomheden er startet af paret Monica og Tommy Nielsen der følte der manglede noget på det danske marked. Her handles der med melorm,græshopper, fårekyllinger og meget mere. Et kæmpe udvalg til kamæleoner finder du også her. Råd og vejledning er en vigtig ting for paret der stadig ejer firmaet og hver eneste kunde har en speciel plads i hverdagen således at hver pakke pakkes med kærlighed. Historien bag Monis Vi hedder Tommy og Monica og vores rejse med monisskildpadder.dk har været lang og sej. Til tider har vi været tæt på at give op og vi har lært lektien ved at hoppe på ting som bare ikke var sagen. Vores mission er klar. Vi ønsker at folk skal opleve så god en service så muligt når de handler hos os. Før vi kom til var det en basar mange steder hvor vare der var garantier på ikke blev byttet. Sådan er det ikke mere, de etablerede har fået kamp til stregen og vi udbygger hver eneste dag forspringet.   En drøm om skandinavien. Vi drømmer om at rykke til resten af skandinavien og sælge vores lækre produkter. Desværre er fragt inden for denne branche til tider lidt en svær størrelse. Project Iceman

Project Iceman is an ambitious project that sets out to prove that #limitationsareonlyperceptions by setting up the first ever, World Record breaking Ironman distance triathlon in Antarctica, the Iceman. The Iceman is the first in a series of events that will put focus on mental health. The project was officially initiated in June 2018 and is the first step of establishing The Iceman Foundation, an organization that will establish and promote 'Mental Empowerment' for all.  We’re a tightly knitted group of people with a clear philosophy of life: Limitations are only perceptions. This is evident in everything we do and how we work. That means we go with what we find interesting and valuable to our cause. If it’s cool, fun, and worthwhile, we spend time testing and potentially going with it. We believe we can do whatever we set our minds to, which is why we’re always up for trying out an idea - no matter how ‘crazy’ it is.In practice this is carried out in close collaboration with one another. Everyone who wants to contribute are inviter to take part, but we each take responsibility of the things we find most interesting. It’s a wealth of freedom but it also requires courage, discipline, and a positive attitude.We’re a sporty group and like to stay active. Whether you’re into bikini, running, swimming, fitness, football, badminton, squash, paddle tennis, or any other sport, we’re happy to go and have fun with it together. This doesn’t exclude us from having the celebratory beer once in a while when we achieve some of our milestones - even though many think completing an Ironman requires a 100% clean diet and full focus on training (which is not necessarily the case, we eat homemade pizza and watch movies every Sunday everning!). We’re open, free, happy and positive. We encourage creativity and allow ourselves to do what we find most interesting.

Restbyte Oy

At the end of 2013 there was few guys talking about what they would like to do because of the passion of tech and doing things right. About that idea a couple months later Restbyte was founded, we were working on few proof of concept ideas for some time but because of the funding we ended up working on consultancy business.  Anyway we decided keep the initial idea of working on interesting projects which we actually care about and wanted to offer likeminded people a place to work.

ProgressData.io

ProgressData.io helps companies measure their paygap, diversity and get practical research based improvement suggestions.  Companies wanting to measure their paygap, diversity often find that it is more expensive and time consuming than anticipated. Collection of relevant data can take weeks depending on the size of the company. Companies rarely have in-house staff with experience in measuring diversity, so even if the data is available it can be difficult to analyse and apply methodology based in research. Progressdata provides a dashboard and a reports, measuring improvement over time.

Empower

We were founded in February 2018 with the idea that giving plastic a value, we could get it removed from nature. A bit like the bottle deposit system, but for all kinds of plastic! We have gained amazing traction since we started, from being featured in Forbes and The Independent and invited to a panel at the first OECD forum on Blockchain to winning awards and being the only Nordic initiative among the 25 development projects/ SDG solutions selected to be showcased at Expo 2021 Dubai’s Global Best Practice Programme. We have done cleanups and pilots in more than 15 countries, proving that this really does work! Now we are building a global plastic waste ecosystem to incentivize cleanup and track where the plastic ends - most of it ideally back to reuse! The next step is to bring our vision to more places and create a truly innovative system than can help solve some of the big problems with plastic waste (of which there are more than you might imagine).

IBEN is a Norwegian lifestyle fashion brand for women that wants to express their style and identity trough the way they dress. Established in 2014 IBEN represents the woman that cannot walk into a room without being noticed for her strong appearance. Her «tomboy» mentality, freed and laidback way of thinking is always the foundation for her choices and interactions. IBEN clothing is meant to supply self-made women the wardrobe they need to communicate their identity and way of life.

Bridge

Last year we built a recruitment platform in order to match the right candidates with the right employers based on 1) skills (yes, it's still there) 2) what you want to do 3) personality and company culture. We have more than 1000 candidates. We want to help, and we are every day helping companies get great candidates. It's NOT a one way street. It goes two-ways. If we find you what you want, makes you excited, and the job also matches your personality AND is a place where you have a high probability to fit it from day one – would you not want to take that chance? How many times do you know anything about the company you are applying for except the usual rant about "great workspace" and "innovative environment"? Is it real? We want you to get as many honest answers as possible before you take the leap. And hey the other side, the companies. Imagine tons of applications, all different looking CVs. No one reads that. And if they do, you get rejected on the wrong basis. Crazy huh? We actually ask you that. Then, we ask you to draw some slides and kind of map your personality. And your preferred company culture. Are you an office camper or a road runner? Then – boom we ask the company the SAME questions. Who do they want? What is their company culture? Magic happens. You get matched. They invite you for an interview. Hopefully. What's not to like?
