Upotential was founded 2019 in Sweden by Marianne 'Maja' Marescotti, a former elite tennis player, and Catrin Eriksson, an Ironman finisher. Maja and Catrin felt that something was off in the discussions around mental health. Instead of focusing on what can be done proactively to avoid mental health problems, too much focus had been put on reactive treatment. Why wasn't there an inspiring place for people who want to proactively train their mental skills to improve performance and mental well-being?! Nanobodies are essential in diagnostics and pharmacology research, and we strive to bridge the gab between researcher and nanobody. More Info: Synobody is a synthetic nanobody (Nb) company offering identification and validation of high-affinity nanobodies for research institutions and companies worldwide. The Synobody platform is a highly customizable system developed to ease the implementation into common lab practices independent of application. Although Nbs have huge potential within a wide span of research areas, it has struggled to find its way to market. The necessity of llama immunization and lack of systemization keeps prices high and diminishes ease of adaptation into common lab routines. At Synobody, we want to bridge the gap between Nb-technology and researchers, by addressing these barriers. To eliminate llama immunization, the company has developed a highly diverse and fully synthetic Nb-library used to systematically screen for high-affinity Nb. Identified nanobodies can readily be fused to tags or labels and function with secondary Nb commercially available on the Synobody platform.

Utilizing building ventilation systems to capture atmospheric CO2 and generate three-way benefits - reducing emissions, environmental benefits, and reducing CO2 exposure for the residents. Over half of the world’s population is currently urban, with predictions that this number will likely grow by 1.56 billion over the next two decades. As a result, we will see new megalopolises emerge, and an exponential increase in the construction of new buildings and CO2 emissions. This surge in the number of people living and working in buildings will only reinforce the challenge of guaranteeing the best air quality levels possible. A high concentration of CO2 has been proven to make people feel dizzy, tired, and sleepy. A Harvard study shows that for each 400-ppm increase in indoor CO2 concentration, our cognitive function score becomes 20% lower. Ours is the most affordable technology for increasing overall employee wellbeing by preventing their productivity from decreasing by 20%. If buildings can be used as CO2 capturing machines the lifetime emission can be offset. One single system for building ventilation of 3m3/s can capture 20 tons of CO2 per year. In a single building, one might have, for example, 20 ventilation units. So, per building, it is 400 tons of CO2 captured per year. When the system is used with renewable electricity (5kWh energy required per kilo CO2 captured) (20g/kWh) the emission is 100g when 1000g is captured. By transforming buildings into carbon sinks, net-zero targets can become achievable. Buildings become an active protector of environments and contribute to global negative CO2 emissions. Soletair Power captures carbon utilizing buildings' ventilation systems, which achieves up to a 50% reduction in emissions, supports employee wellbeing, and increases productivity. In the Capital Region of Denmark compared with 2019, the number of restaurant bankruptcies has grown by 30 % from 2019 to 2020 Flip The Table wants to change that statistic by helping the Copenhagen restaurants to make themselves more visible on the market and connect them with their guests on social media and thereby lift the restaurant industry into the digital world.
