ROPCA has the mission of helping patients by helping clinicians. Our tool is to develop robotic platforms for clinical applications with the goal of shorting waiting times in health care, create more precise and uniform diagnosis and to automate routine tasks. All over the world the challenge is the same: an increasing number of patients are covered by a decreasing number of specialists. ROPCA’s first product is the platform ARTHUR that is the world’s first ultrasound scanning system that the patient can use without an ultrasound specialist. ARTHUR can scan patients hands and give decision support for rheumatologists diagnosing and monitoring the disease rheumatoid arthritis. ROPCA is founded by a professor in medical robotics and one of the leading ultrasound specialists in rheumatoid arthritis, so we know the clinical challenges and the technical possibilities.

In 2020, we created Hydrosafe after winning the Start-Up Programme by FFE for the idea of protecting hydraulic connections on agricultural machinery against dust and other particles. Since then, we have patented and developed a grip that provides farmers with the ability to identify (colors/ID), handle (grip) and maintain (rubber bellow) their hydraulic hoses/connections without wasting time on cleaning the couplings to prevent leaks. Today, Hydrosafe is the only start-up developing smarter accessories for hydraulic connections on agricultural equipment and construction machinery. As fun and sexy as that might sound, we enjoy aiding farmers and workers all around the world with the ability to become sustainable and efficient in handling and maintaining their hydraulics. The main problem we are solving concerns dust and other particles entering the hydraulic system through the hydraulic connection, causing malfunctions, leaks, downtime etc. Our product solves this at root cause as the dust can no longer reach the connection in the first place. It is designed and manufactured based on great demand from end customers, which is why we set sail to become the innovative suppliers behind smarter handling of hydraulic connections. Contentbeak has been running for two years, as a hobby project, and has few paying users. Now it's time to take it to the next level. Products as on 28Nov 2021 Scanosk: Scanosk is a Do-it-yourself contactless attendee management solution for in-person & hybrid events. It helps to enhance the experience of event attendees using QR code by automating event check-in, seamless access control management and real-time tracking and accurate analytics of the activities for organiser and sponsors. Scanosk further helps to increase the event participation to global audience using its streaming tool. Interlangue: Interlangue is a Remote Simultaneous Interpretation tool to translate live streaming content into multiple languages. It is a widget tool that can be integrated with any virtual / hybrid event platform. Why Techference exists? Scanosk is positioned for the Post-Corona world where in-person attendance to conferences is expected to see a sharp increase in 2022-23. A contactless interaction during check-in can provide much-needed hygiene for the attendees. The customer is event organisers and sponsors. In post-covid times, the large scale events will require strict adherence to “limited contact” during events – this poses a challenge as the current solutions are dependent on attendees making manual contacts during the check-in to the events.
