Steerpath

Steerpath is a Finnish startup solving global challenge of optimising benefits of hybrid working for both employee and the company. Our hybrid workplace application helps employees & companies get maximum out of multi-location working. We have built a mobile app where employees can easily see when to visit the office or stay remote based on their favourite colleague work plans and available capacity of meeting rooms, it can guide you around a space if you are new to the space via indoor maps, and much more. For managers we provide analytics of what spaces are being used, so they can develop their spaces in an optimal way. We have also developed an internal venture under a different brand called Spacehub, which are small pods you can book for working in shopping centres and similar. Customers are typically larger companies from 1000+ employees, with majority Headquartered in Finland, but we also have customers in the UK and US. In the future we will be focusing on the Nordic market, because in the Nordic culture there is trend to focus more on employee satisfaction. Our solution is already used by some of the largest and most well known brands in the Nordics, such as Finlands largest commercial TV broadcaster MTV. Steerpath was founded in 2013 by Mikko, Tuomas and Sam, all sharing a long history with several decades of experience in all aspects of product development, Bluetooth and other wireless technologies. Our team has since grown to now 15 people of different background and nationalities. Our office is in Alberga Business Park next to Sello in Leppävaara, easy to reach with public transport (15 minutes from city centre), and we have a very nice setup with a small living room in the middle. We have been able to bring together different strengths to deliver a solution our customers love and we are very excited to bare witness to some of the innovations that have already come out from the collaboration. We are a very friendly group who enjoy hanging out and do things together, we also have small events, board games nights, summer party and more. We have a start-up environment in our small team, and support a hybrid work model with the flexibility to work partially remote. We do recommend people to come to the office at least 2 days per week, as you will work closely with other members of the company, and this is the best way to get to know your colleagues. The rest of the team prefer coming in most days, and we even have colleagues stopping by during their holidays to say hi to the team, borrow tools, and other things, and that really says it all.

Firtal Tech

Firtal Tech is a part of Firtal Group, owned by Matas A/S. Our primary product is SELVEO, an e-commerce logistics management SaaS, hyperfocused and -optimized towards modern e-commerce businesses. SELVEO was born from a need from our sister company, Firtal Web, to fulfill orders, manage stock and do purchasing in a highly efficient manner. SELVEO is currently in closed beta and is used by multiple e-commerce businesses - big and small. The ambition is to become "Shopify for e-commerce logistics." The platform is so simple that it's easy to use even with 20-30 orders a day and up to 5.000 orders and beyond (our current customers represent all parts of that range). On the technical side, SELVEO is built API-first and made up of several microservices written in multiple languages (Go, NodeJS, Rust, PHP), depending on which language best suits the service.

Fikse AS

Fixing and repairing of consumer goods are declining, and have been for many years. It can seem cheaper and more convenient to buy a new product and throw away the broken one. At the same time, repair shops need more customers. We will create a digital booking system to make repairing easier and convenient. Consumers can choose their preferred repair shop and order repairs directly from their couch and have it sent and delivered. At the same time, we help repairers reach new customers online and a CRM system optimised and co-created with repairers. Our mission is to build a culture for repair and inspire people to take care of what they already have. Our main SDG is number 12 - Responsible consumption and production. Increased volume of repair will lead to lower consumption and inspire consumers to buy less and better products. This is a big goal for Fikse and with our digital system, we know that it will lead to more reuse. In addition, Fikse is also contributing to goals 8, 11, 13 and 17. We care about the environment and will always work for these goals. In other words: We make repairs easy and convenient. Problem Today, repair and maintenance of consumer goods are a real hassle. It can seem cheaper and more convenient to buy a new product and throw away the broken one. In addition, repair shops need more customers and better margins. They also lack a customized system for managing orders and communicating with customers. Retail businesses have a hard time creating a solution for handling warranty and refund. Research shows that the inconvenience of repair is just as high an obstacle as the price. On the other side, repairers struggle to get customers. They do not have the time, money or resources to be active on social media or promote on digital platforms. They are also lacking a good system for managing orders and communicating with customers. Solution We help repair businesses and retail owners reach out to customers and respond to the emerging market for repairs and circularity. We are in the process of creating a digital booking system to make repairing easy, fast and convenient for all segments above. And we know that this sustainable concept is a service they actually want. At Høyer Paleet in Oslo, you can see for yourself. Together with the high-end retailer, we launched our MVP here in mid may. And what a response. We have over 800 bookings as of september 20, as well as the retail itself. This winter, we will start developing a fully digital version. This way, you can choose your preferred repair shop and order repairs directly from your couch and have it sent and delivered. At the same time, we help repairers reach new customers online by creating a CRM system optimized and co-created with repairers. We can manage all cases of repairs connected to warranty and refund for businesses to ensure the consumer a sustainable practice on all levels. MapUp (formerly Map Courses)

MapUp (formerly Map Courses) is a next-generation online test prep solution for high school students across the globe. We help stressed high school students in competitive countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, the USA, etc., to prepare for public exams effectively with the help of A.I. and data science. Currently, MapUp is part of the Antler Nordics 2022 Cohort and is receiving advice and guidance in this global pre-seed accelerator.

LifeBoard ApS

At LifeBoard ApS we are designing the new generation of public rescue equipment, a rescue board, that makes a difference. The LifeBoard® ensures that beachgoers as civil rescuers have the necessary tool at hand to safely stabilize an accidents out in the water. We want to increase water safety on beaches by analyzing and customize safety solution with theLifeBoard®. With the LifeBoard® surfboardlooking design it is easier for civil beachgoers to use compared to the lifebuoy ring. The ring is not designed to be used for swimming rescues, but to be thrown from harbors, piers and boats. The lifebuoy ring is considered inefficient on flat beaches, where it is rarely used successfully. The aim with the LifeBoard® is to avoid civil rescuers from becoming a victim in the at- tempt of rescueing another and to decrease swimming-related fatal drownings by 50%. With the LifeBoard® civil rescuers can reach a distressed faster and safer. Safety to avoid a fatal drowning of the civil rescues and/or victims. Fast to save the victim before it is too late, since a drowning can happen in less than 60 sec and reducing the risk of permanent injuries and hospitalisation of near-drowning victims.
