Our gut flora consists of an enormous amount of microorganisms, mainly bacteria, but also viruses, fungi and protozoa. Together, these microorganisms form our microbiome, which is an important part of our health and well-being. To carry out an intestinal flora analysis, you first need to collect a stool sample from the person to be examined. Then advanced laboratory techniques, such as DNA sequencing, are used to identify and quantify the various microorganisms present in the sample. When the analysis is complete, you get a detailed report that shows which microorganisms are in the intestines, their relative amount and how they relate to each other. The analysis here can provide valuable information about one's general state of health and is available via mobile or computer.
