New Works

New Works was founded by Nikolaj Meier and Knut Bendik Humlevik from the desire to establish a design house where design comes to life with care and intent, and where there is room for creative experiments — a place for new works. While Nikolaj juggles numbers and daily operations as CEO, Knut Bendik is responsible for the particular look and feel as Creative Director. Together with a small, dedicated team, they set out to define a curated collection of elevated, yet accessible objects for living.

Arctic Farming

We are Arctic Farming and our mission is to disrupt food production by making indoor farming mainstream. We believe that conventional farming is no longer sustainable. Shipping food around the world not only degrades product quality and nutritional values, but it also produces a significant amount of emissions. Why do this when technology allows us to farm fresh food 100% locally? Our scalable, fully automated and IoT-based vertical farming modules can be used as individual systems in individual restaurants or retails stores, or as highly scalable industrial farms providing fresh produce directly to wholesale, restaurant or retail customers. Each module is a fully automated and controlled ecosystem with smart technologies that optimise the amount of light, water and nutrients as well as a number of other variables. This enables the plants to grow faster, more efficiently and with the highest possible quality. All of our farms are operated through a cloud-based farming software that gives us full control over the farms. Once you plug in the plants, automation takes over and the module will let you know when the produce is ready for harvest. Using vertical farming technology, we are able to decouple farming from the environment. This enables us to produce the highest quality herbs and leafy greens anywhere at any time. And even better, while saving the environment one plant at a time.

We love chewing gum & we love innovation. Therefore, we started Eace Gum, the next generation of chewing gum. Other than having a refreshing taste, Eace Gum also contain functional ingredients. We want to be a little help that empowers people in their everyday life, no matter what the occasion is. We are an innovative scale-up with a young energetic team ready to take the world. Eace Gum is developing functional chewing gum helping people with a healthier everyday with more energy. We have 5 amazing chewing gum products: Vitamin Boost, Energy Boost and Healthy Teeth. Cosgear

Cosgear was founded in 2018 with the goal of developing costume technology to become a world-leading brand in the cosplay market. So far, we have launched an autonomous electric tail and a magnetic headband for use in cosplay. We have delivered 2,500 products to over 20 countries, and have taken a commanding position in cosplay tech. Day to day, the company operates with strong systematic process management, and works in 4-6 week focused sprints. We have since the beginning developed a clear corporate culture, and are generous with both each other and our customers. Ideas flow freely and we are always open to creative suggestions and initiatives. We believe that trust in each employee's competence builds good companies, and we do not intervene unless we see that the goals we have set together are not achieved.

JoDis Shoes

JoDis Shoes is a Danish based business, established in 2016, but our team comes with more than 20 years of experience with designing and producing fashionable, quality shoes. This then also means that we, in all humbleness, are quite skilled at crafting shoes with a perfect fit for your feet. This is reflected in an extremely high customer satisfaction. We have a very low return rate, compared to the industry average, whilst the customer feedback is that the shoes they order, also fit when they wear them for the first time. The fashion industry experience is that for web shops, the vast majority of the goods are returned. Our experience is the opposite with our products. We produce shoes, fitting the times we find ourselves in, based on the virtues and trends defined by our own customers. In practice, this means that our shoes are in fact designed by our customers - spanning from trendsetters, influencers to your general society women, curious to collaborate with us. In 2021 this means that first of all, our shoes are developed on sustainability principles, and next they must reflect a self conscious, accessible and independent women. Shoes that matches the life you want to live, where you easily jump from pumps to boots, from feeling trendy to feeling natural. Sustainable production methods are natural ingredients of our strategy, and hence part of our foundation. At JoDis we do our outmost to think and act in a sustainable conscious manor at all levels of the supply chain, and thus play an active role in the wellbeing of our planet.

Bright Day Graphene

Bright Day Graphene offers the industry a sustainable, premium graphene made from biomass, optimized for use in energy storage and high tech products. Graphene, with its electrical properties and its 2D-structure, has the potential to revolutionize the technology industry, but it even though it has been around for more then ten years now, that revolution has not yet happend. One of the biggest reasons for that, is that the mass produced graphene on the market today (Grapene Nano Platelets, GNP) does not have the properties needed for that market. The high quality graphene on the market; (Chemical Vapor Deposition, CVD, Graphene) can't be produced in large quantities and is far too expensive to base commercial products on. There is a hole in the market here and with our green graphene we want to bridge the gap between these two. Our material, that can be produced in large quantities, is a graphene powder, just like the GNP, but with flakes up to one million times bigger and much, much thiner. This gives us better electrical conductivity and higher transparency, properties that is more like the properties of CVD-graphene. We also call our graphene green, because it is made from a sustainable source and we use no toxic chemicals in our production. We strive to prove that a product can be both environmentally friendly AND high preforming.

HelloFlow

Customer onboarding is a central piece of the overall client journey as it is often the first experience that clients go through. It is however also a process fraught with complexity and ever-changing rules and regulations. At its core, a process that needs to satisfy relatively opposite forces - compliance/regulation and customer/user experience. The best proven way of tackling this problem is to build a sleek user experience and use the latest digital identity services to shorten the process as much as possible. The issue with this is that it can take months to implement just a single identity service and from that point making future changes would require even further development resources. HelloFlow is a Platform as a Service (PaaS) company that was started to explore ways of solving this issue. Our founders had previously been met with a similar situation when they were asked to implement onboarding solutions for some of Europe’s largest companies. The essence of the platform is that it combines two functionalities: 1. an easy way to create and adjust an onboarding “flow” and 2. a service infrastructure that allows a given company to “drag and drop” identity services into their new process. What this results in, is a platform where building compliant, best-in-class digital onboarding flows can now be done in minutes, without writing a single line of code.
