We started FÆRM in 2020 with the goal of making amazing plant-based cheese. To do that, we use traditional cheese production methods, locally sourced proteins and science combined with a whole lotta love. The problem that we’re solving is twofold. First and foremost conventional cheese has one of the highest carbon footprints in the food industry, with higher emissions than both chicken and pork. Secondly, the plant-based alternatives to cheese that do exist on the market generally fall short on both taste and texture, providing little incentive for consumers to make climate friendly choices. In addition, their content of coconut and palm oil hardly makes them a sustainable alternative As a company, we believe that work is about doing something you love and we want FÆRM to be filled with awesome individuals, who contribute to a strong social culture, celebrate diversity, and take pride in their work.

Today, the dance footwear market is filled with countless cheap dance shoe models, that vary in design, colour and type of fabrics used. Many of such models are following temporary trends and are poorly sown and thus get out of fashion and break relatively easily, increasing overconsumption. Mama Havana's mission is to slow down the purchasing cycle and provide the best dancing experience by producing shoes that are comfortable, durable, yet pleasing to look at for a long period of time. Motivation for starting this business was born out of a strong passion for Latin dances and a genuine interest and love for shoes.
