StudyBuddies

StudyBuddies is developing an AI-powered platform to help students form effective, diverse study groups. We solve the challenge of connecting students who struggle with collaboration or feel isolated, using AI to create personalized group matches and foster success throughout their studies. Research shows that a lack of social and academic connections leads to lower engagement and retention rates. We address student isolation and ineffective teamwork—problems that impact academic performance and overall well-being. These issues are prevalent, with studies showing that up to 40% of students feel disconnected during their education. Our focus is on empowering students with tailored study groups that drive learning outcomes and create lasting networks. StudyBuddies leverages AI algorithms to match students based on study preferences, goals, and academic strengths. Our platform includes tools to track progress, promote accountability, and provide real-time feedback. We ensure that all students, regardless of background, can find a supportive community and thrive academically. The idea for StudyBuddies came from my own experiences as a student. I’ve faced group assignments where I ended up without a group at all and failed, and I’ve seen others struggle and lose motivation because they felt lonely and unsupported. These experiences made it clear to me that there has to be a better way to create effective groups and academic communities. This became the driving force behind starting StudyBuddies.

We're Netto, pragmatic green finance and technology experts who empower banks to meet their net zero goals as efficiently as possible. Through our software we translate complex language, regulations, and processes into a one-of-a-kind software platform that simplifies the green loans process between banks and their commercial real estate clients. Netto ensures clarity, transparency, and compliance with green loan requirements, guiding the pathway to net zero lending portfolios before 2050.

Herodesk

Herodesk is a fully remote tech startup based in Denmark. We have created a new customer service platform for small and mid-sized businesses and webshops. Our mission is to make customer service easy. It should be easy for our customers to use Herodesk, which in turn should make it easy for their customers to get the help they need. To achieve that, we've created a helpdesk and live-chat product that is simpler and cheaper than the alternatives. Our product was launched in September 2023. Now, a year later, we have close to 100 paying customers, with more being onboarded weekly. Our founder, Anders Eiler, has previously co-founded SpeedGaming and Meebox, and led the DanDomain E-commerce division (a >€10M rev. division). Based on those learnings, it was clear that a simple and affordable customer service platform was missing for small and mid-sized businesses. So in the summer of 2023, he founded Herodesk and entered a deep-red ocean with many established competitors, but with a mission to make great helpdesk software available for the masses. We've found product market fit, and it's time to scale the businesses nationally and internationally.

Rubus

Rubus delivers a collaboration platform for real estate projects, gathering all project participants - developer, general contractor, subcontractors and home buyers - in one place, with all communication, documentation and tasks centralized. We do all development inhouse and have customers in Norway, Sweden and Germany. Our startup is revolutionizing the way football clubs train and develop their players by introducing an innovative, interactive training platform. The core idea is to shift from traditional, passive learning methods to an engaging, active learning experience. This approach is designed to enhance players' tactical understanding and decision-making skills, both of which are crucial for on-field success. The problems we are solving: Clubs invest significant time and resources in onboarding new players and coaches to integrate them into the team's systems and culture. This process involves extensive training sessions, meetings, and practical drills to ensure everyone understands the club's philosophy and tactics. However, it is often inefficient and time-consuming, particularly when done manually. Clubs also typically lack concrete data on how well players grasp tactical concepts. The understanding of tactics is often assumed rather than measured, leading to inconsistencies in player performance. This gap in assessment leaves coaches without reliable metrics to gauge tactical comprehension, hindering targeted improvement and strategic alignment.

Flokki

Over 2.5 million Norwegians lack recommended vaccines, and unfortunately, many are unaware of this. But luckily, there is a solution: Flokki. We are ready to play a key role in increasing vaccination rates and improving public health. Dr. Arne Søraas, an experienced infectious disease specialist at Oslo University Hospital and Flokki, has witnessed the consequences of missing vaccinations up close. This insight inspired the idea of Flokki - a simple and practical tool that allows patients to assess their vaccination status and receive prescriptions from doctors, all with a few taps on their mobile phones (read more). Maintaining immunity in the adult population, especially after the age of 65, is crucial. The pneumococcal vaccine is particularly important for protecting the elderly from serious diseases. And let's not forget the Boostrix Polio vaccine, which plays a critical role in protecting against whooping cough, especially for those in close contact with newborns. With over 2.5 million Norwegians lacking vaccines, almost all pharmacy staff should be able to provide recommendations for vaccine checks. We especially encourage those over 65 to check their vaccination status, as well as pregnant women, who have a special duty to protect themselves and their unborn children. By raising awareness of the importance of vaccination and providing easy access to vaccines, Flokki is the answer to the adult vaccination program. Together, we can improve public health and reduce the incidence of serious diseases in society.

Bottle Hero

Bottle Hero is an online marketplace for premium wine, craft beers and spirits. We have a strong desire to support local shops as much as possible. This means that every time a customer orders wine or beer from our platform, the order goes directly to one of our local partners. Our product range is put together by all our partners, who are some of Denmark's leading experts and enthusiasts in wine, craft beer and spirits. Bottle Hero was started to spread the word about quality wine, beer and spirits while harnessing and enjoying all the beverages that have already been produced, bottled and therefore already left their mark on our world at the production stage.

Skovlyst Production A/S

SKOVLYST er en innovativ bryggerivirksomhed. Vores oprindelse udspringer fra den danske skov – Hareskoven for at være helt præcis. Her startede vores brygmester, Casper Møller, med at brygge øl tilbage i 2005, der var inspireret af skovens dufte, smage og oplevelser. Og selvom vi i dag er rykket ud af det lille bryghus i skoven til større faciliteter, så er den stadig essentiel i vores øl og den måde, hvorpå vi bringer gode øl ud til forbrugerne. Eftersom vi udspringer fra skoven, har vi altid følt et ansvar for at passe godt på den. Derfor arbejder vi løbende med at effektivisere og skabe en ansvarlig forretning, som ikke kun tager hensyn, men samtidig også giver tilbage til skoven, i form af genrejsning af dansk folkeskov. Vi arbejder altså med et langsigtet perspektiv på at reducere vores CO2 aftryk.
