Even Founders

Even Founders is a nonprofit organization operating throughout the Nordic region, to create new women founders and increase funding opportunities for them. We work with founders, investors and ecosystem partners to tackle one of the biggest gaps in the startup space. Our organization provides two primary services: the Startup School and our comprehensive database. The Startup School offers a cost-free educational program designed specifically for women, teaching them the essentials of founding a company. Meanwhile, our extensive database serves as the premier source of information on women-founded companies, helping investors in discovering new investment opportunities. We are founders, investors, operators, innovators and researchers with first-hand experience from both sides of the table.

IT.no ble stiftet sent i 2020 med en klar visjon om å forenkle IT og digitalisere Norges bedrifter. Målet var å klare dette med til gunstige priser og den beste kundereisen med ansatte som har langvarig erfaring fra bransjen. Vi skulle bistå både som en komplett IT-avdeling for bedriftene, men også for muligheten til å begrense tilbudet til medhjelpere for eksisterende IT-ressurser hos kundene. Gründerne i selskapet har begge langvarig erfaring fra ISP og IT bransjen der de bygget opp egne avdelinger. Det var viktig at både en tekniker og en selger begge stod på eiersiden for å ivareta produkt og service så vel som det kommersielle. Vi starter nå et nytt selskap som skal fornye maskinvare/hardware markedet B2B som er bygget på en plattform vi utvikler.

Fyaril

Fyaril is building the single largest marketplace where customers and businesses across the globe can buy sustainable products with measurable, traceable, and targeted impact linked to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Today, consumers have no knowledge about the impact of their online shopping, and manufacturers of sustainable products lack a single digital retail platform with direct access to global consumers. Global consumers lack direct access to a wide range of sustainable products and brands that are produced and manufactured sustainably. There is no reward for existing manufacturers to move towards sustainable manufacturing or contribute to UN SDGs. What if customers could make informed 'buy' decisions? If all the manufacturers selling online have verified sustainability credentials measured in their contribution to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. What if every product should have verified traceability of the impact it leaves on the planet and society? The world needs a strong force to drive manufacturers towards sustainability, recognize and reward manufacturers and products that are creating a positive impact. Fyaril does exactly all this. It is a platform that demonstrates to the manufacturers that sustainability would lead to higher sales and increased profit. Fyaril connects with the customers in B2B, B2C, and B2B2C models. Our mission is to make it very easy for even the smallest manufacturer in any part of the world to reach global customers. In Europe, we offer storage, warehouse, and logistics options to the manufacturers in B2B and B2B2C models. Sellers in the B2C model receive orders directly from the customers, and orders are fulfilled through Fyaril's warehouse facilities. Fyaril offers a digital platform to all the customers. Customers can browse and purchase products through the global site (www.fyaril.com) or on highly localized websites (www.fyaril.se, www.fyaril.de, and 15 other local sites). The main revenue streams for Fyaril are product markup, transaction commission, advertisement revenue, and foreign exchange markup.

We started Dr Hud because we believe that skin patients deserve a better healthcare experience. Several of us have ourselves suffered from skin problems, long waiting times and incorrect assessments, and unfortunately we are not alone. The team, which consists of both dermatologists and people with many years of experience in healthcare scaleups (incl Doctrin, Kry, Uber and others), aim to offer a service that is better for patients, doctors and the healthcare system as a whole. AquaFood

AquaFood has a patent-pending method for extracting high-value, food-grade components at cold temperatures from the side streams of fish production (e.g. heads, backbone, scales, etc.). The components we extract are; pure fish oil that fits as a supplement, a unique protein mass with high functionality (almost minced meat consistency) that fits perfectly for fish balls, fish burgers, or even tubed fish spread, and lastly, we extract a fine collagen powder that fits for dermatological applications. Today, the side streams of fish production account for 40-70% of the fish that is brought into the processing plants. This is a remarkably higher amount than any other food-producing industry. At the same time, the food production system worldwide accounts for 1/3 of green-house gas emissions, 1/3 of land usage, and 2/3 of groundwater withdrawal. The seafood industry has problems of their own, where 95% of our fish stocks are fully utilized and about 30% have already collapsed. There simply is not way for us to increase or even continue to produce the way that we are in a sustainable way. But we still need to increase food production as the globally increasing population will demand a doubling of protein production in the year 2050 compared to now. AquaFood believes that resource efficiency is a huge stepping stone toward reaching a sustainable food production system. A system where we use our resources efficiently and to their full potential is what needs to happen to step into a sustainable future. In our process, we can make sure that the FULL fish is used to its full potential. Through our process, we use no heating steps and the only effluents from our process are the water that we introduce to the system mixed with a small amount of protein. Therefore, our process is highly efficient, sustainable in terms of lower energy and water consumption but also in terms of the resource efficiency that it brings. Our technology is research-based and stems from decades of research in the area of utilization of aquatic biomasses.
