Klarna offer smoooth payments to 130.000 webshops and retailers across the globe. The company has 2500 employees spread over our 14 markets. Klarna Checkout is the main product, which offers merchants 1 integration, 1 agreement, 1 settlement for handling payments online and in stores. Klarna Norway AS has 15 (and increasing) employees who work at the 26th floor at Posthuset in Oslo.

Excitus AS

Excitus is set up to develop, manufacture and sell medical suction products based on its revolutionary, patent-pending mobile suction platform. Products will span from professional hand-held tools for paramedics to consumer devices in a private home and stored together with the defibrillator at supermarkets, stadiums, etc. The platform enables a higher survival rate at cardiac arrests, yet at the same time, it provides a razor/razorblade business model unseen in this area.

Oiiku AS

Oiiku was founded in 2012 as a joint venture for Onkel Estrup AS and Kodemaker Systemutvikling AS. Bjørnar Stray Berentsen is a well-known figure in the corporate event business in Norway. He has many years of experience containing handling all parts of events, including managing them, the use of software to get things together, and doing the dirty work on the floor. As of 2012, Bjørnar had made a quite remarkable list of high-profile customers on his own and his self-made software. Based on his experience he saw the great possibilities in creating a new tailor-made suite of integrated software applications for events. Kodemaker is a well-known consultancy company in Oslo with 25 skilled employees. They are self-owned and have a set of system developers with a quality that is probably unmatched in the Oslo area. Onkel Estrup and Kodemaker started talks in 2012 about doing a joint venture to make a company with superior software for the event business. It has been a long process making sure that the combination of Bjørnars know-how about the most known and unknown issues at events was taken care of, and at the same time making sure that Kodemaker could contribute with their skills to make it a very flexible, scalable solution ready to be 'the event system' for the future. The company today is owned 50/50 by Onkel Estrup AS and Net Professionals AS. Net Professionals are mainly owned by stockholders and employees at Kodemaker. Oiiku AS is today in a situation with 2 employees working with events and Bjørnar working as CTO and some hands-on at events as well. We have a running business and are ready to scale up. We are looking for investors and a new CEO to bring the business to a totally new level. The worldwide market is HUGE and so far we have not seen better software solutions in the market. Our current plan is to grow a steady business in Oslo with employees to handle our large corporate customers, but the real big opportunities lie within making self-served Saas software for the worldwide market.

Antagonist

We’re an independent game studio based in Oslo, Norway, which was founded in February 2013 by a group of students at the Norwegian School of Information Technology (NITH). In January 2014 we consisted of 7 members of the team who all have different experiences in their own fields of expertise. Our common goal is that we want to contribute to the indie scene with story-driven games, without compromising the gameplay. Starting up a new company (let alone within gaming) is no joke, and we hope to make it easier for future companies to make games. It’s a small pond, and as soon as we announce our projects, our vision is to have an exposed development during production. So keep an eye on our development blog on our page, or contact us if you want to know anything! We are currently working on a third-person horror game, set in a forest inspired by Norwegian nature.

Freyja is initiating a new era for social media platforms, moderation practices, and user protection. Its sophisticated moderation and safety system is ground-breaking and allows it to offer a voice to a marginalized group of creators. Educators, charities, and brands, who offer important sex-education and awareness, don’t have a platform to promote their cause. Mainstream social media censors any mention of sensitive topics, such as sex, and ban creators without warning. As a result, the human right of sexual education is being denied, which is particularly problematic when women’s sexual rights are being stripped away repeatedly. Charities that focus on reducing revenge porn and image based sexual abuse find themselves censored, or banned for talking about their work. Companies focused on sexual health testing, period products, sex therapy and contraception also find themselves banned or censored Educators try to improve education and find themselves censored for naming a body part. Sex workers face the worst discrimination as they are instantly deleted, even when they haven’t posted anything more explict than a bikini photos, whereas a celebrity might post something actually pornographic or link directly to an adult site and not face the same censorship or bans. Freyja acknowledges this overlap of education and adult entertainment and addresses this by offering a safe environment, where people can find what they are looking for: education or entertainment. Freyja is a social media platform, which does not censor or discriminate. It’s a platform, where individuals, charities, and brands can post about sex-education, their products, and their charity work.
