Renewable electricity is great for the environment but difficult to plan because its production depends on uncertain weather conditions. Versiro develops an AI copilot that helps renewable producers make smart decisions in real time while considering these uncertainties. This assists the integration of renewable energy and increases its profitability, two key factors to enable the green energy transition. Versiro was founded by researchers at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and follows the observation that, in electric power systems, the traditional pipelines from research to industry are too outdated to keep up with the fast-paced world of machine learning.

EpiGuard AS is an innovative Norwegian Medical Technology Company established in 2015 by a group of doctors at the Oslo University Hospital (OUS) together with co-founders Inven2, Eker Group AS, and Hansen Protection AS. EpiGuard has evolved into a highly skilled knowledge-based company. The business model is to develop and manufacture high-end medical equipment for the safe transport of contagious patients. ICT is a Norwegian technology development company that holds patents designed to bring new opportunities to the cryogenic liquids storage and transportation sectors via unique containers. The design targets the market for both large- and small-scale cryogenic applications. ICT’s solution is modular and suited for onshore as well as maritime use. The development of hydrogen infrastructure is slow and holding back widespread adoption. Transportation of large volumes is one of the major challenges that IC Technologies is determined to solve. Another challenge is the storage of liquid hydrogen. Current storage solutions resemble enlarged thermos flasks, and the hydrogen inside gradually evaporates over time. Our vision is a decarbonized world with green hydrogen as a major energy carrier.

ÅBEN was founded in 2017 in Kolding, where it began as a brewery at the childhood farm of Philip Hulgaard. What started as a hobby alongside a full-time job has since grown into a passion and a way of life. After opening its doors on June 9th, 2017, things moved quickly. ÅBEN was named Brewery of the Year in 2019, marking the beginning of an exciting journey. Since then, ÅBEN has created the electronic music festival O Days, founded the beer festival Kalas, and opened bars in Aarhus, Kødbyen, Roskilde, Copenhagen Airport, Carlsberg Byen, and Nordhavn - with more to come. ÅBEN’s first beer, which has since turned into a signature beer, is called Bryg 61 (Brew 61), named after the number of attempts it took to get the recipe exactly right. Today, ÅBEN produces new beers every month which has led to an archive of more than 400 beers, spanning wide from generously hopped IPA’s, and full-bodied imperial stouts to a wide selection of distinctive sours. Most recently, ÅBEN entered the world of non-alcoholic brewing, with the first beer in the series - Y - winning Best Non-Alcoholic Beer in Denmark 2025, and with two more beers in the series on their way.
