The problem SMEs have with CS: Complexity and Cost: Many existing IT security solutions are designed for large corporations, making them overly complex and financially out of reach for SMEs.​ Lack of Resources: SMEs often lack dedicated IT departments, leaving them vulnerable to cyber threats without adequate protection or support.​ This issue leaves smaller businesses exposed to cyber risks, with limited options for effective and manageable security solutions, that in theory could have been avoided very easily.
