Dimmi

Dimmi is an early-stage Danish legaltech SaaS start-up revolutionising how European companies navigate the complexities of immigration law across the European Union. Companies across Europe are increasingly in need of international labour and talent. Yet navigating immigration law and obtaining work permits is highly challenging and costly for companies of all sizes. Combining unique research and legal insight into migration law and global mobility with augmented retrieval technology, Dimmi is building the first-ever digital infrastructure for end-to-end case handling of international hires, making legal immigration compliance fast, easy, and cost-predictable. From guiding users through the most viable visa track, deadlines, and documentation requirements, Dimmi empowers companies to file compliant applications to the authorities faster, cheaper and with higher rates of compliance. Dimmi is a spin-out company pioneered by a research project conducted by research conducted at the University of Copenhagen, Center of Excellence for Global Mobility Law by Dr Christian Prener with aim of resolving the major legal and financial bottlenecks that European companies face when hiring candidates from outside of the EU. The project is funded by Lighthouse, University of Copenhagen’s innovation centre and currently based at the University of Copenhagen. We are in search of a co-founding CTO to lead the development of the technical platform in collaboration with the Alexandra Institute. Both junior and senior product architects and software developers are encouraged to reach out to hear more.

BioPilot

Only 7.9% of new medicin is approved for phase 1 clinical programs - life saving cures are being scrapped because of poor reproducibility. Today, researchers designing complex in vitro and in vivo experiments jump between many tools that do not talk to each other. Protocols are written in free text, naming is inconsistent, raw data is scattered across drives, and inventory and cell banks are tracked separately. This makes it hard to reproduce experiments, compare results across projects, trace which cell material went into which batch, and satisfy regulatory expectations. Small and mid-sized labs often cannot afford enterprise platforms like Benchling or Dotmatics, so they manually glue everything together and rarely get to use advanced analytics or AI. BioPilot solves this by standardising the full early-to-in-vivo CTR pipeline in one product. Users can register and template in vitro experiments (differentiation, expansion, cryopreservation, device testing, etc.) and in vivo studies (animals, groups, dosing, housing, ethics documents) using fixed ontologies. This gives every experiment a structured schema and a precise schedule of readouts, barcodes and data types to collect. Raw data (FACS, scRNA-seq, imaging, counters, bioreactor logs, etc.) is then automatically linked back to the right experiment, condition and sample. On top of this, BioPilot offers: • Inventory and cell bank tracking that makes it trivial to trace which vial, edit or expansion batch was used where. • Live bioreactor monitoring with alarms (email / phone) to prevent losing expensive batches. • A growing library of free analytical tools, including automated FACS gating, scRNA-seq pipelines and image analysis that can feed results straight back into the experiment records. • A global ontology service for vendors, instruments, cell lines, species and process terms, with a roadmap for a public API. Because everything is structured and queryable, BioPilot makes it much easier to compare experiments, run Bayesian optimisation on process parameters, and let AI suggest next-step experiments. The pricing is kept aggressively low (free tier plus a simple paid tier based on storage), so smaller biotech and academic groups can access capabilities that are normally reserved for organisations with large software budgets. In short, BioPilot aims to become the operating system for cell therapy R&D: a single, affordable platform where experiments are planned, executed, monitored and analysed in a way that is standardised enough for automation and flexible enough for real-world biology.

Luminik

1. The pitch Luminik is building an AI co-pilot for event marketers to help B2B marketing teams turn expensive conferences into predictable pipeline - by fixing targeting, meetings, and follow-up with one revenue-first system. 2. The what B2B companies spend 20–30% of their marketing budget on events - but most can’t prove the ROI. Attendee lists come in late. Sales teams scramble to book meetings. Post-event follow-up is messy and untracked. As a result, 40–70% of event-generated leads disappear. This affects CMOs, event marketers, and sales teams who are under pressure to justify spend and show pipeline impact. The pain is felt across industries, and the budgets at stake are massive. 3. The how Luminik is an AI-powered event marketing co-pilot. It identifies ICP accounts and decision-makers weeks in advance, helps lock meetings before the event, alerts sales when high-value prospects show up at the booth, and auto-syncs all activity back to the CRM. No more manual scraping, badge scans, or spreadsheet reporting. We turn events into a pipeline channel your CFO will actually trust - with math, not guesswork. 4. The why We saw the same pattern over and over while working with fast-growing SaaS teams: events were expensive, chaotic, and disconnected from revenue. I have helped teams wrangle messy data for years - and realized we could bring clarity, structure, and impact to one of the most broken (yet high-stakes) parts of B2B marketing. We’re here to fix event marketing with a revenue-first lens - because if you can’t tie events to pipeline, your budget is always at risk.

Unioo

Unioo is building a digital compliance and board management platform to help financial institutions and voluntary associations handle complex regulatory reporting—simply, securely, and without friction. 1. What problem are we solving? Associations in Europe are required by law to submit complex KYC and AML documentation to their financial institutions. This process is often confusing, paper-based, and time-consuming—especially for small, volunteer-run associations. At the same time, banks are struggling to comply with increasingly strict regulations without overloading internal teams or alienating nonprofit customers. 2. How are we solving it? Unioo provides a secure, plug-and-play digital platform where associations can easily complete their mandatory bank reporting. At the same time, they gain access to a suite of free digital board tools—meeting management, task tracking, file sharing and more. Banks receive fully compliant data packages with no internal resource strain. Associations stay compliant while benefiting from better tools for managing their boards. 3. Why are we doing this? We started Unioo as volunteers ourselves. We saw how much time was wasted on outdated processes, and how legal changes (like AML) were turning volunteer work into a bureaucratic burden. Then we realized: we could help both associations and banks by offering one unified solution—tailored for the unique needs of volunteer boards and aligned with financial institutions' regulatory requirements. 4. Why join us? We’re a fast-growing Danish startup backed by strong investors, trusted by 25+ financial institutions, and used by thousands of associations. Our team is small but ambitious—and deeply motivated by the impact we make. If you’re excited about simplifying bureaucracy, building elegant solutions, and empowering civil society, we’d love to meet you.

Q-turn

We are Q-turn, a Danish company based in Aarhus, on a mission to make sustainability actionable for fashion and textile brands. We help SMEs reduce customer returns by collecting, organizing, and optimizing feedback and return data, enabling better decisions that enhance customer satisfaction and minimize environmental impact. Fashion and textile brands face growing challenges in sustainability, including changing regulations and increasing expectations to act responsibly and reduce their environmental footprint. A significant issue is the rising volume of customer returns, which contribute heavily to waste, carbon emissions, and resource consumption—making it one of the industry's most pressing environmental concerns. Q-turn's solutions are transparent and reliable, addressing the root causes of returns in the fashion industry. We empower e-commerce companies to streamline their return processes while meeting evolving sustainability and compliance requirements. At Q-turn, we transform reducing returns and improving sustainability into opportunities for growth and positive change.

Studio404

Studio404 is a Copenhagen-based digital marketing agency that partners with businesses in the experience industry, startups, and service sectors—including restaurants, bars, co-working spaces, and professional services—to build and manage their complete digital presence. Most small to medium-sized businesses know they need a strong digital presence, but they're stretched thin. Studio404 was created to be a different kind of partner. We don't work on one-off projects—we build long-term relationships where we become an extension of our clients' teams. From social media management and performance marketing to content production and web development, we handle the full scope of digital marketing under one roof. Our approach is transparent, results-focused, and designed to give business owners clarity and confidence in their digital presence. We stay with our clients as they grow, adapting and scaling our services to match their evolving needs. By taking digital marketing off our clients' plates entirely, we give them back the time to focus on what they do best—while ensuring their online presence reflects the quality and professionalism of their actual business.
