Each player has a pet whose health depends on the activity from their step counter, and players can meet each other's pets in multiplayer AR which is fun and social. Although society aims at replacing fossil resources with sustainable, renewable alternatives, the production of many materials like plastics and rubbers are still very dependent on fossil fuels. To replace petrol-based rubbers in consumer products, we developed a process to transform birch bark, an abundant residue of the global forestry industry, into the novel biomaterial, Reselo Rubber. Based on a comprehensive material characterisation and encouraging feedback from customers we believe that Reselo Rubber has great potential to replace fossil-derived rubbers in applications like footwear, protective gear, playground flooring and toys.
