Founded early summer 2020, acamp.com is a two-sided marketplace connecting RV Sites and private landowners with campers. We are the first Startup in Europe that let local landowner and small business tap into the huge, analog, and underserved market of RV sites. By digitalizing the market we create totally new opportunities for the entire industry. We are currently a small team of 16 very talented colleagues, diverse with 4 different nationalities and backgrounds from Apple, Spotify, and MIT students. All our work is in English, and majority of the team work from our HQ in Stockholm, but a few colleagues work remotely from other places in Sweden, Barcelona, US and the Philippines. We believe that empowering our employees makes our company stronger, and we therefore do a lot to make sure our team has the freedom they need to be and do the best they can. As we are a small team, where everything goes really fast in the startup environment, we need people to be independent and equipped to do what is needed. We therefore provide an overall centralised direction, but everyone here has a lot of autonomy and ownership over their own work. We work with flexible hours, where each team member can choose to work from home when they want, or from our pet friendly office in the heart of Stockholm close to "Sveavägen". We want our team members to be passionate about the value we create, and therefore do a lot to promote the nature environment, we do team events at our hosts, and at our office we have a rooftop garden with barbecue that we often make use of. And if you join Acamp, you get access to unlimited camping days in any of our Hosts and we have a company RV you can borrow for your vacations. Chromologics is a Danish biotech spin-out from the Technical University of Denmark. We have developed a fungal biotech platform for the production of novel, natural colorants. Our proprietary fermentation process allows us to be first movers to introduce lab-grown food colorants to the market. Our production is sustainable, scalable and cost-competitive. Unlike other existing natural colors, our colorants are not extracted from high value raw materials like fruit and vegetables, but produced by our wild type cell factory. Our fungal strains are non-GMO and our pigments are compatible with most dietary needs, including kosher, halal, and vegan diets. We are in the R&D phase.

Our software tool provides predicted properties of (bio) chemicals based on data-driven algorithms and quantum chemistry, which helps to reduce the number of experiments in R&D. Every (bio)chemical process or product needs physico-chemical properties (e.g. solubility, density) data to simulate unit operations and flowsheets of chemical manufacturing processes. Also, the formulation of products such as more sustainable solvents or more efficient materials need property calculations for designing these products. Scientists and engineers at biotech companies usually fail to develop and simulate new processes and products because: (I) the experimental data for specific molecules are not available, (II) no physical property models have been developed for the desired compounds which give satisfiable predictions, (III) measurements are too time- and material-consuming to perform. MQS has developed a software which provides novel property prediction models based on machine learning and quantum chemistry (Figure 1), in which the input from experiments can be reduced or is negligible. Therefore the number of experiments, material, labour and time are saved which translates to reducing R&D costs in a 407 billion $ industry [1,2,3].
