Moonbound Oy is crafting learning experiences for tomorrow's explorers. We are building a gamified video learning platform, Skilli.io. The current linear video learning platforms do not support the non-linearity of learning and human need for autonomy in the best way possible. Furthermore, displaying the course content linearly fails to communicate how different subskills are connected to each other. We aim to make learning skills more engaging and deeply motivating by gamifying the learning process. The skill or art, be it photography, skateboarding or cooking, is broken down into short learning videos and challenges. The progress in the learning process is portrayed in a skill tree – rather than a linear row of videos – familiar from many video games. Teachers are carefully selected to be the most renowned in their fields. The end product is an Android & iOS app and a website. Currently we are at the idea phase prototyping the concept. We are located at Epicenter co-working space in the heart of Helsinki.

Stackbeam's curated discovery tools gives the user an overview of tools and platforms suitable for specific marketing use cases. The inflated world of marketing technology tools have gone from 150 in 2011 to over 8 000 in 2020 but only a fraction of them are market leaders and relevant for most marketing teams. We want to enable marketing teams to work faster and more focused by understanding the tech landscape so the foundation is there for them to act on. How do we do this? By building a lightning fast database for users to search, filter and save tools they need but also by giving them solutions such as an overlap tool to identify the areas where the new or existing tools overlap so teams can maximize their technology budgets. More tech tools and shiny new objects is not the answer ›› understanding the basics and organizing your marketing tech stack based on your company and team needs is the right way to go. Too many people believe new technology will solve complex things. We reverse engineer this and break complexity down into compartments for easier understanding and actionability. Why should one have to drive back and forth to a storage room when we can get most things delivered to the door at the push of a button? Our goal is to simplify how we store our things and we work actively to be part of a sustainable society. This means, among other things, changing how housing is built and how we manage our things overall.
