HELMSTEDT is a fashion founded by Emilie Helmstedt in 2018 and was first seen on the runway with the SS19 collection, Oceania. From the outset, the brand has received international recognition from i.a. Vogue, ELLE and Forbes. HELMSTEDT works at the intersection between art and fashion – with the delight of the unexpected. The artistic approach is manifested in womenswear, sculptures, poems and from this year also a children’s collection. KidCBox is developing DIY prenumerations to help families with children spend some quality time while developing the kids C skills. In a qualitative statistical analysis, we collected data that most families do not know how to entertain their kids over a longer period of time at home. This tends to let parents use digital tools in an unbalanced way which has its own proven negative effects on child developement. The nature of the children that want to try all the time new things has led families to spend loads of money on expensive toys which teach children already at young ages to be consumers. Besides they do not bind to anything when the variety is too much. We have put all these together and prepared around 150 ideas for families to try and build some meaningful moments together. This stimulates childrens C skills: curiosity, critical thing, collaboration and communication. Besides these activities will balance out the digital world and family time. This whole idea kicked in during Corona time when all families where isolated at homes with their kids and they absolutely had no tools to use for spending that time together. Coming from an artistic family, my friends reached out to me to get support in a form of online art teaching. Although those were some extreme years, the problem still exists.

The team's expertise currently covers instrument and software development and research collaborations. Our innovation lies in directly studying large biomolecule dynamics, an area current technologies cannot effectively cover. The tool utilizes smart fluorescent probes together with polarized illumination and detection and enables a new dimension of molecular analysis that we believe can find applications in several important drug development areas. The core technology is the result of many years of research within the academic setting, but the commercial aspirations are still young. The company was started in 2023 and is just taking shape as a separate entity. Most of the operations are today located in Scilifelab, a national research institute leading life-science research in Sweden. Our vision is to empower drug developers, researchers, and clinicians with a tool that accelerates drug discovery and can foster a future of faster, more accurate, and more efficient therapeutic development.
