Business Battlefield is a sprouting organisation consisting of volunteer students who aim to inspire, challenge and Shape the Leaders of Tomorrow. The organisation is part of the society CBS Case Competition and was founded back in 2017. Business Battlefield is an innovative leadership competition for students taking place in November. The first week of November will be one big orange party with events happening online and/or at different Copenhagen Business School locations. During this week a selected number of participants will receive training from our expert partners to prepare for the competition on the final day. During the year we also aim to host a series of inspiring talks and workshops with influential leaders for all students. The purpose of Business Battlefield is to offer students an inspiring experience and opportunity to exploit and challenge their leadership skills. The concept bridges the theoretical knowledge from academia with real-life leadership challenges preparing the participants for a career as a leader. We want Business Battlefield to be the first of its kind in challenging the contemporary characteristics of a leader. In a world where disruption, environmental issues, artificial intelligence and constant innovation are the most discussed business topics, we strive to identify the individuals that have the potential to successfully enter the world of leaders and make a change. Oyama is a mental health company on a journey to enable individuals to become balanced, sustainable humans. We are creating an evidence-based self-guided app with AI-assisted personalized self-care recommendations to help prevent depression. We have developed, Oyama, a platform to talk about your life challenges. We provide personalized, evidence-based tools from psychotherapy to understand yourself better and a peer-support community to encourage you on your journey. When a user enters the Oyama app, they join an anonymous community, where one can relate to other users’ stories. You can give helpful advice and positively reinforce one another. At the core of our app is our personalized journal, which teaches you to express yourself and guides you through a motion of evidence-based psychotherapy exercises to help you build healthy and sustainable habits. These exercises will help the users reflect on their thoughts, emotions, levels of stress, difficulties and possible relationship problems on a regular basis. We are introducing a unique pedagogical user-experience with gamified and interactive features, which will allow outcomes to be continuously monitored and followed up, reinforcing the learned healthy behavioral patterns. Currently, we rolling out our beta to consumers and high schools in Sweden and Finland and starting a collaboration with a Finnish occupational healthcare company. Additionally, we wish to deliver our new mobile app focusing on social support as soon as possible in the midst of a historical period in time, the COVID-19 pandemic.

Lavatio is bringing innovation and digitalization to the laundry industry by connecting people with businesses. We are building a platform that helps laundry shops innovate and be able to meet their customers in the new digital world that we all live in, by providing a seamless experience for the laundry vendors that signs up to our platform. At the same time we are making our users lives easier by enabling them to order pick-up and drop off of their laundry right from their cell-phone, instead of having to go to the laundry to first drop their laundry off, and then a second time to pick it up. This is not only helping people in terms of being able to spend their time on something more meaningful and important, but also has a positive impact on the environment. Right now the Laundry industry in Sweden has a total revenue of 5b SEK/year, and grew by roughly 30% from 2018-2019 and is expected to continue to grow year over year. We want to be part of that growth and we believe it is a great timing for us as people are getting more mature and used to order services online and through their cell-phone.
