Tiptapp

Say hi to Tiptapp — the easiest way to get rid of things. From low value second hand items to bulky waste and recyclables. No appointments or meeting setups needed. 'Tap to confirm' communication and payments in app. With Tiptapp we are building a p2p platform aimed at disrupting the experience of how people get rid of things they no longer need or want. On top of that, we are also challenging the huuuuge classifieds market. By adopting principles of both crowdsourcing and ridesharing, Tiptapp offers the most convenient way of having everything from bulky waste and recyclables to second-hand items for reuse or resell taken care of. All done with a just a few taps in our app. As we are building a top tier start-up team we are of course really picky with values, interpersonal skills, and personality traits in general. We began in late 2015 and have accomplished quite a lot in a short period of time. We believe the secret ingredient is to work focused and to cherish the differences within the team and utilize its common strengths. This means not only that we’ll have fun every day but also that we’ll accomplish something far beyond the ordinary.

Sule

The healthcare industry is rapidly evolving to meet the growing demand for accessible, affordable, and efficient medical care. Medical devices have become an essential part of modern healthcare by enabling early disease detection, accurate diagnosis, continuous patient monitoring, and timely clinical decision-making. As global populations grow, chronic diseases increase, and healthcare systems face mounting pressure from shortages of medical professionals, innovative medical technologies are becoming critical to delivering quality care. Medical technology startups are playing a key role in this transformation by developing next-generation solutions that combine advanced software, portable hardware, and digital health technologies. Our company is a Copenhagen-based startup focused on developing innovative Point-of-Care (POC) diagnostic technologies. Our mission is to create intelligent, portable, and user-friendly medical devices that enable faster diagnosis and support decentralized healthcare delivery. The company has already developed a medical device that is classified as Software as a Medical Device (SaMD), demonstrating our expertise in creating clinically relevant software solutions that comply with modern medical device regulations. Building on this foundation, we are now developing our own portable processing device designed specifically for PoC applications. The device integrates powerful processing capabilities with advanced medical software to perform diagnostic analysis directly at the point of care, reducing dependence on centralized laboratory infrastructure. A key strength of our technology is its modular platform architecture. Rather than developing standalone devices for individual applications, we are building a scalable processing platform that supports multiple diagnostic modules. Our first product will introduce the core portable device with its initial diagnostic capability. Future medical applications and diagnostic modules can then be added through hardware and software upgrades, allowing healthcare providers to expand functionality without replacing the entire system. This approach reduces costs, extends product life, and provides a flexible solution that evolves with clinical needs. The demand for PoC diagnostics continues to grow as healthcare systems worldwide face significant shortages of physicians, nurses, and laboratory personnel. Delays in diagnostic testing can increase patient waiting times, prolong treatment decisions, and place additional pressure on hospitals and laboratories. PoC devices address these challenges by enabling rapid testing and analysis close to the patient, whether in hospitals, clinics, emergency settings, pharmacies, home healthcare, or remote locations. Faster diagnosis leads to earlier treatment, improved workflow efficiency, and better patient outcomes while reducing the burden on centralized healthcare facilities. Our portable processing platform supports this shift toward decentralized healthcare by providing reliable, easy-to-use diagnostic technology that delivers rapid clinical information wherever it is needed. The modular design ensures long-term adaptability, enabling future diagnostic capabilities to be integrated into the same platform as healthcare requirements continue to evolve. As a medical device startup operating from Copenhagen, we are committed to advancing digital health through innovation, engineering excellence, and regulatory compliance. By combining Software as a Medical Device with portable PoC hardware, we aim to provide healthcare professionals with flexible, scalable, and efficient diagnostic solutions that improve access to quality healthcare while helping address the global shortage of medical resources. Our long-term vision is to establish a comprehensive modular PoC platform that supports multiple medical applications and contributes to a more accessible, efficient, and patient-centered system.

North Star Tech

North Star Tech Oy is a Finnish company that makes research integrity verifiable. Its product, North Keeper, is a verifiability layer for the research lifecycle, built on Microsoft Azure. Research integrity is now a board-level obligation for universities, research funders, and publishers, driven by the reproducibility crisis, fabricated results, and tightening funder mandates. Today integrity is asserted, not proven: ethics approvals sit in filing cabinets, reproducibility lives in a methods section few can rerun, and grant spending is reconciled long after the money is gone. North Keeper runs deterministic checks on the research record and turns each passed check into verifiable evidence. It can prove that identified records met defined integrity controls at a point in time, recorded as evidence a funder, journal, or auditor can verify directly. This is the distinction the product is built on: proof, not assurance. It does not claim that a scientific conclusion is true. The first check covers ethical consent, with reproducibility and responsible spending as deliberate later phases. Each passed check is issued as a tamper-evident, post-quantum-signed True North Certificate and recorded in the True North Registry, a public, append-only record anyone can verify against. North Keeper consumes Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure Cost Management as substrate rather than rebuilding them; the owned engines and the registry are what make the evidence independent. North Keeper is a transactable ISV product on the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, with metered consumption pricing and Microsoft co-sell, so customers buy through their existing Microsoft agreement. North Star Tech Oy is based in Helsinki and serves universities, research funders, and publishers across the EU and the Nordic region first, then the wider global research market.

Memorise

1. Short description (the pitch) Memorise is building a powerhouse network of senior digital-marketing specialists that helps growth companies turn marketing spend into measurable pipeline — with a client-set price cap, no lock-in, and full ownership of everything we build. 2. The What (the problem) Most companies overpay for marketing that can't prove its worth. Traditional agencies bill for activity, not outcomes: junior-heavy teams, opaque retainers, and reports that count clicks instead of revenue. Clients rarely own their own accounts or data, which quietly locks them in. It affects nearly every SME and scaleup buying marketing — budget leaks into overhead and "the name on the invoice" rather than work that actually moves the business. 3. The How (the solution) Memorise runs as a powerhouse: an in-house strategy function leads every engagement and activates senior specialists from our network — SEO, Google Ads, web, content and AI search — only when the work demands it. Every action is tied to a business goal and reported as leads and pipeline, not impressions. We work to a price cap the client sets (never more; less if we spend less), with no binding period, and the client owns all accounts, data, code and material from day one. And we go all the way to execution, not just the report. 4. The Why (the motivation) We started Memorise because the agency model is built backwards — clients pay for the office, the brand on the invoice and a PDF, while the right senior person is never free when you need them. We'd watched too many businesses pay premium retainers for junior work, then lose access to their own data the moment they wanted to leave. Memorise is the answer: pay for the work that's actually done, prove the result, and let clients keep everything. Marketing that shows up in the business, not just on the invoice.

Kompose

Most companies know they need to move on AI. The challenge isn’t awareness - it’s knowing where and how to start and keep momentum. That’s the kind of problems we work on at Kompose. Working at Kompose means being part of a small, highly focused team that builds side by side. We combine deep technical expertise with hands-on delivery, helping professional services firms and larger enterprises move from complexity to working, production-ready AI solutions. No slide decks for the sake of it. No pseudo-work. We focus on real use cases and ship solutions that deliver visible results. We move fast and prioritise momentum. If something doesn’t create value for the customer, we don’t do it. Good ideas win - regardless of title. Feedback is direct and constructive. Mistakes are fine; carelessness and unnecessary complexity are not. Our days are collaborative. We start each morning with a short check-in and spend most of our time working closely together in the office in Christianshavn. There’s space for deep focus and space for discussion. Transparency is the norm - about challenges, trade-offs, and decisions. We experiment constantly and apply AI in our own workflows. We test new tools, refine how we build, and continuously evolve our delivery framework so we get sharper with every project. You’re trusted to own your work and see it through - from idea to production. We’re ambitious and growing organically, but we believe good work requires balance. Some weeks are intense, others lighter. We swim in the canals every week (even in winter) and during summer we hold meetings on a rented boat. Lean team. High trust. Real responsibility. Real impact.
