At mellōw we strive to raise the bar on chocolate. We produce high-end single-origin chocolate following the bean-to-bar principles. All processing of cacao beans into chocolate is done by hand. For renters, the deposit can financially be very harmful. The design of a deposit is inherently poor. We quickly realized that there is no need for a deposit at all. We replaced the security component with an insurance policy, it protects the landlord and brings fair conditions to the renter. As a result, we can completely change the way securities are defined in the real estate industry. Ebie is an insurance agent, we are partnered with a large Swedish insurance company that enables us to sell our insurance product. This way, we can offer comfortable and risk-free securities for both landlords and renters. We are developing a platform where landlords and renters can apply for our insurance on existing rental contracts. Furthermore, we are determined to offer landlords great value beyond not having to handle deposits again. As an insurance agent, we assess thoroughly the risk with each renter. We realize the value for us, but also for landlords to know this about their customers. We are just about to begin selling our insurance product. Platform development is underway.
