Emberly is a Stavanger-based startup founded in 2020. The company was born out of a desire to help people learn better and to help them manage information overload. Our product is a knowledge library, but in contrast to other solutions, we help you organize your knowledge into what we call "knowledge maps". Traditional solutions based on tags and search are not adequate due to the simple fact that it requires using the language center of the brain, this requires you to break your chain of thought before you can even start looking for your resources. Emberly in contrast, lets you use spatial navigation to find what you are looking for. Which is far more efficient.Not to mention the fact that by creating and using this breakdown of topics, you automatically gain a far better understanding of the concepts you are working on. We have been working tightly knit with our community for two years to help us make Emberly the best experience it can be, and we officially released the system in 2022.

ICT is a Norwegian technology development company that holds patents designed to bring new opportunities to the cryogenic liquids storage and transportation sectors via unique containers. The design targets the market for both large- and small-scale cryogenic applications. ICT’s solution is modular and suited for onshore as well as maritime use. The development of hydrogen infrastructure is slow and holding back widespread adoption. Transportation of large volumes is one of the major challenges that IC Technologies is determined to solve. Synergi is an early-stage startup aiming to make household electricity usage smarter and flexible. We create software that helps households to monitor and control their energy resources, such as Electric Vehicles, heat pumps, smart thermostats and other household appliances in a way, that saves both money and CO2 and is beneficial for the grid. We help households to find the best time to consume electricity and enable them to get paid for adjusting their energy consumption, based on the grid operator’s demand.

UVision makes sensors for underwater inspection - Visualising the subsea. Ships, harbours, windmills and bridges need regular inspection, also underwater, in order to avoid major failures and costly repairs. Underwater, inspection becomes a lot more complex, it is difficult and risky to operate under water, and video-inspections are costly and ineffective. We are therefor building the UVision sensor to make inspections easy, safe and precise. The UVision sensor is a 3D-underwater camera; unique in size and weight and therefore easy to mount on a pole, on any underwater drone or handheld by a diver. You scan an object by simply moving the sensor around it, guided by a real-time 3D-map on a screen. After the scan, advanced algorithms create a photorealistic 3D-model and store it in our cloud solution - ideal for collaboration with colleagues, customers and partners. We are three full-time founders - each with 25 years of experience within technology development, marketing and management. One of us has a lot of experience with underwater photography, and we all have a deep interest in technology and strong urge to make something of our own - with all the ups and downs it will bring :-)
