nor² (NorSquared)

Nor² is a developer and a cloud platform for running FaaS and container like workloads. The complexity of container-based micro-services makes both development and operations challenging. At present, developers are required to create, update, and maintain networking code often without having a clear understanding of how the underlying networking frameworks, libraries and protocols works. This is not only time consuming and challenging from a developer’s perspective, but the security aspect is also another critical issue to be addressed. The team behind Nor² have both the background and knowledge of this problem area from facing these issues in our day to day job building globally distributed systems. Additionally, when our CEO was working for one of the major IAAS providers as a Solutions Architect he met customers every day that were struggling with the complexity of building scalable, reliable, performant, cost effective and secure software. Right now, most systems are built on top of containers and orchestration systems. And these systems have fundamental flaws that makes them hard to work with, especially if using multiple clouds. The environment is extremely complex, and we have seen even some of the most talented experts in container technology in the world struggle with this and face operational outages that have costed them tens of millions of dollars. We are about to change that. What our compute platform will do ( in short) is simplify and streamline cloud computing by: Optimize the Businesses We understand that businesses rely on the cloud for critical operations, but unfortunately, many cloud providers fall short in delivering reliable and efficient services. Our patent pending technology ensures that your business can handle even the most demanding workloads with ease at a fraction of the cost of today. Enhance the Developer experience. We believe that great apps come from developers using tools they love. That’s why a great developer experience has always been at the very heart of what we do. nor² makes the processes of deploying, configuring, scaling, tuning, and managing apps as simple and straightforward as possible, so developers can focus on what’s most important: building great apps that delight and engage customers. As of April 2023 our platform is live, we have one patent pending and another patent that will be handed in now in the end of this month. We are currently in an onboarding process with our first customer and we are now ready to talk to investors about future possibilities.

QARD

SV: QARD har utvecklat en banbrytande app som revolutionerar hanteringen av inträde, garderob och kvittohantering på klubbar och barer. Kunden kan få en överblick över besöksmönster, snittålder och kön på besökarna, och använda denna information för att optimera sin verksamhet och minska personalkostnader. Genom att erbjuda denna funktionalitet hjälper QARD kunderna att fatta mer informerade beslut och öka sin lönsamhet. ENG: QARD has developed a groundbreaking app that revolutionizes the management of admission, wardrobe, and receipt handling at clubs and bars. The app aims to digitize and streamline the flow in and out of these venues while creating a safe and secure environment for guests by reducing the spread of diseases and viruses. In addition, QARD has an environmentally friendly profile, making the app a responsible solution. One of the unique features of the QARD app is the ability for customers to follow their statistics in real-time. Customers can get an overview of visitor patterns, average age, and gender of visitors and use this information to optimize their business and reduce staffing costs. By offering this functionality, QARD helps customers make more informed decisions and increase their profitability.

OA.mg

OA.mg is the world’s largest database of research papers and scientific articles with over 240 million titles, of which 40 million are Open Access. Headquartered in London and Stockholm, it provides lightning-fast search, advanced filters, and direct access to Open papers. Over a million users from 158 countries use OA.mg to find and access the research they need. The future is Open Access, and OA.mg is the tool for that future.

Zwitch

Zwitch is a P2P marketplace that extend the second hand trade between consumers. Unlike regular marketplaces, Zwitch allows users to suggest and buy items from their peers and pay with both or either money and their own products. Zwitch is taking the sustainable trade to the next level with focus on both economical and ecological trade. It is a modern solution to help users with the current cost of living crisis as well as help our communities to pro-long product lifespan and combat environmental waste.

Priceagent

The problem: Setting accurate prices on your product or service is something many companies struggle with. Usually you look at your margins and/or your competitors to try and come up with a suitable price. ...But there is another way. You can measure the true willingness to pay, in real time. This also allows you to differentiate who wants to pay, and what in your product or feature your customers like the most. What's next is automating this and building a software that brings this tool to every company who wishes to make data driven decisions. Why is this worth solving? We believe that many companies are leaving money at the table. We have seen from our experience in Atenga insights (our sister company) that when it comes too pricing, companies generally do not have a clue on how much they can price. It is more common to look at competitors and the company's margins, rather than willingness to pay. Furthermore, the data we gather also tells us who wants to pay what. This is differences in demographics, and the granularity in the data also provides insights into what they want to pay for. In simpler terms, you can find out exactly what drives that particular customer to buy your product, why and at what price. Vision: Allowing companies to autonomously launch a project to answer any version of questions relating to the willingness to pay. The initial version will allow for a 24-48h turn around but the ultimate goal is live updates.

Biti Innovations

Society is becoming increasingly complex and digital development pressures all organizations to streamline work processes. Hence, smart planning is a critical element for success. We believe that job satisfaction occurs when human interaction overcomes administrative tasks. The reality in the healthcare industry is different, solving recurring complex planning challenges is time consuming and costly. In the most devastating cases of healthcare planning, faulty planning has led to deathly outcomes. Planning what, when and where to allocate resources are challenging in both private and public healthcare organizations. Lack of statistics and quality evaluation in order to prevent further inaccurate planning leads to a negative spiral. Current systems on the market are not sophisticated enough to solve these problems due to generic designs and manual planning functions. Our solution is Lingon. A smart planning tool for home care organizations. We develop knowledge and software intensive systems that empower homecare organizations to act in accordance to operational goals by automated planning, vizualizing insights and effects of planning. The system gives suggestion on staff planning and creates continuity, process optimization, route optimization and quality evaluation of business activities. This is possible by using cutting edge technology in AI and Machine Learning from research results from Umeå University. We are a research spin-off from ADS Lab and a diverse team consisting of researchers, software developers and business developers.

Cevoid

Cevoid's goal is to enable community marketing for brands around the world. Launched in 2021, Cevoid is a SaaS platform that helps e-commerce brands enable engaged communities, gather inspiring content, and showcase it throughout their marketing channels. When a brand engages customers and influencers in its storytelling, it goes from pushing a story to customers to making them the most essential marketing resource.

Riedia

1. We help internationals stay informed and included with their local society with a local news aggregator in English. Riedia is a state of the art AI-powered app, where internationals can read news from multiple trusted local newspapers, translated, summarised, and personalised for them. All in one place. With us, internationals don’t have to go through all the paywalls and translation tools to stay informed and feel like locals. They can read short summaries of the top stories of their region and interests in their daily, customisable personal feed within the time of a fika. 2. It is hard for internationals to get informed and included in Sweden. Without a high level of Swedish, it is taxing for them to find and digest the local news and understand the local politics or what new development and changes are taking place in the city. In addition, there is a high subscription cost of local news, with an average of 2500 kr/year, and they have little information accessible about which newspaper to choose. This problem is shared among around 300,000 foreign-born who do not speak Swedish and around 350,000 who speak Swedish as a second language. There are around 160,000 incoming international students and immigrants in Sweden every year, with a 5.8% growth rate. These are the people we can help include with our product. By helping them, we also contribute to a more inclusive society. 3: With our AI-powered app, internationals can read news from multiple trusted local newspapers, translated, summarised, and personalised for them. All in one place. With us, internationals don’t have to go through all the paywalls and translation tools to stay informed and feel like locals. They can read short summaries of the top stories of their region and interests in their daily, customisable personal feed within the time of a fika. We plan to have three kinds of revenue. One is end-user subscriptions - we are developing three packages ranging from 20 to 150 kr/month based on the features. We plan to provide AI model services for newspapers. A few newspapers have shown interest in using our AI models on their platforms. We will also feature local businesses and events on our platform. Currently, we have no operational costs thanks to the AWS credits provided by KTH Innovation, but in the future, our costs will be marketing, cloud computing, salaries, and R&D. 4: The initial spark was during a conversation we friends had about current events in Sweden, where Melker talked about the news he heard about and experienced, however none of the internationals had ever heard about the events. I am from Sweden. And it is such a shame that in this democratic country, famous for all its inclusiveness and effort for equality, if you don’t speak Swedish, you will have a very hard time understanding the local information and integrating in society. I really believe internationals deserve to have the necessary information no matter if the don't speak swedish.

Workipelago

Workipelago is a hybrid workplace and collaboration app that turns any physical office or venue into a digital collaboration space. Our flexible and modular architecture enables integration with MS Teams (also available on Microsoft App source as Teams app), Zoom, Google, LinkedIn, Slack or other communication tools. We have launched our app in May 2022 and landed first pilot customers in the UK and Sweden with more interested customers from Germany. Workipelago is bootstrapped, still in early stage, entering the market and seeking pre-seed investment. We have achieved a lot with less and now ready to take off to shape the #futureofwork. Workipelago is registered under OFISTIC8 AB in Sweden.

We offer digital postal voting, physical, hybrid and virtual AGM for various organizations, companies, federations, and associations.

Skinfo

Skinfo is a service (SaaS) for e-commerce that makes the ingredient list in cosmetics both understandable and transparent, based on scientific and health related information. We’re seen across 500+ skincare & cosmetics brands via retailers such as Apotea and LloydsApotek. Shoppers use Skinfo over 10k+ times daily. Available via Shopify for smaller brands.

Wisello

Wisello is a digital service ensuring employees' required continuous training. The Swedish Bar Association requires attorneys at law to complete continuous training every year. To comply with this requirement, law firms need to provide, organise, administrate and document relevant training session. This is a time consuming and logistic hassle. This requirement exists not only in Sweden, but in the majority of all EU countries as well as in the US. Requirements for continuous training or understanding for what competencies exist among the staff is of great importance, not only for law firms, but companies across many industries, for example auditors, tax consultants, workers within the manufacturing industry, etc.

Co Society is a hyper-realistic metaverse office optimized for a hybrid work model, maximizing employee engagement and brand experience. Our Mission is to help companies offer a complete work experience - bridging the gap between physical and digital. We have a unique core team set up with human, design, and tech-centred expertise — from brand experience, employee engagement, meetings, events, and gaming to 3D graphics, UE, cloud, networking, DevOps, frontend, and backend design.
