The How: Mindbuddy bridges the gap between mental training and accessibility by delivering tailored sports psychology tools directly to players’ phones. Using AI, the app helps players set SMART goals, generate visualization tracks, and build mental routines for training and matches. The Why: As a professional footballer for 18 years, including many as captain of Vålerenga, I’ve experienced firsthand the enormous pressure players face. It wasn’t until the latter part of my career, when I discovered the power of mental training, that I realized how much better prepared and focused I could be. That sparked the idea for Mindbuddy.
