Hubro Education

Hubro Education turns every student into a CEO in our online business simulation games. Practice is crucial to develop a deep understanding of any discipline, and Hubro’s business simulations offer an effective, engaging and innovative way to do just that in business education. We work with universities and business schools in more than 40 countries around the world. The company has a diverse team and will grow to 12 team members in early 2024. Our HQ is in Oslo at Rebel, Universitetsgata 2. As of June 2023, Hubro is wholly owned by Sage, a leading independent academic publisher with offices in Los Angeles, London, Washington DC, Singapore, New Delhi, and Melbourne. Haptiq

Haptiq AS is a technology company that develops 3D virtual and augmented reality applications for mission-critical industries. We have a background from international AAA gaming and strong experience in core and related technologies, their development tools, and processes. Our customers span from The Department of Health and Human Services to the Norwegian Special Operation Forces. Haptiq has developed a customizable EHS training system that we connect to a digital twin of the workplace in 1:1 scale virtual reality (VR). This immersive includes natural interaction between instructor and fellow trainees as avatars, an intuitive user interface and a built-in task creator so you can add or modify training sessions. All data generated by employees training in the system is stored and easily accessible through an admin dashboard.

Sunday Power

Sunday Power’s mission is to accelerate solar power growth, put more renewable energy into the mix, and help the world decarbonize. The real estate industry stands for 40% of global CO2 emissions, and pressure is increasing on the industry to become greener and more sustainable. Our strategy is to offer property owners the easiest and most profitable way to greener buildings, and our business model enables us to give our customers all benefits of solar power – for free. We are developing technology for the future to make solar power on commercial buildings easier, smarter, and more profitable. Luckily, the resource we are harvesting shines everywhere. Therefore, we are aiming for international growth as part of our goal to make a difference in the world. We are constantly looking for new team members that can help us reach our ambition to help the world towards net zero. We have brand new offices in central downtown Oslo. We have a coffee machine where we brew great coffee, and eat typical Norwegian lunch together in our kitchen. foodora Norway AS

A fast- growing company! foodora is a subsidiary of Delivery Hero, one of the world’s largest food-ordering networks, and the HQ is located in Berlin. foodora was established in Norway in 2015 and has grown rapidly since then. Today, we deliver food from over 3000 restaurants in Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger, and 19 other cities. In 2018 the platform launched extended areas around the cities where the restaurants deliver the food themselves, and in 2020 we introduced fast delivery from shops on our platform, and became Norway’s first provider within Q-commerce. In 2021 we also started a new grocery concept called foodora market.

Vainu

Vainu is building a Sales Intelligence platform that helps salespeople and marketers move forward. Powered by technology to collect, read and understand all company information ever written, Vainu makes these real-time company insights easily consumable directly in its customers' existing business systems. Headquartered in Helsinki, Finland, the company launched in 2013 and is now at €15 million in annual revenue with a team of 150, spread across Europe. Over 2,000 sales and marketing teams globally use Vainu’s data to personalize customer interactions at scale—ultimately leading to more sales.

Evyon

Evyon maximizes the value of second-life EV batteries by repurposing them into high-quality energy storage systems in a streamlined, safe, and cost-effective way. We develop novel technologies for reassembly and operations to convert usable second-life EV batteries into modular plug-and-play battery storage systems. Our ambition is to make battery storage truly accessible for a wide range of applications, including reducing peak energy demand (peak shaving), increasing self-consumption of energy from solar panels, providing critical services to grid operators, and increasing available power in an environmentally friendly way to underserved locations and applications.

Litech, founded in 2021, is an Oslo-based startup specializing in developing sensor systems to detect and remove hazardous objects, such as flammable batteries and gas bottles, to prevent fires and explosions at waste facilities. Our vision is to create sustainable and safe waste management by eliminating the harmful impact of incorrectly sorted hazardous materials. We are currently running pilots with two major players in the waste management industry. We collaborate with partners in the waste industry and R&D and are part of the vibrant Startuplab ecosystem, benefiting from its extensive network and resources.

Iris.ai

Iris.ai is on a mission to build the world's first AI researcher, a system that will be an invaluable team member in every research team across academia, industry and NGO's. We are an impact driven for-profit company. Our initial product offering is a suite of tools to semi-automate the academic literature reviews, and these tools are being delivered at University Libraries across the Nordics. Our second product suite is a set of tools for researchers in the chemical industry. Our team is a mishmash of impact driven weirdos with a fundamental desire to do really cool things that will leave the world better than we found it.

Mindcare develops Konfidens – the worlds first holistic mental healthcare platform designed to improve the effectiveness of psychological treatment. Our SaaS platform for psychologists combines the basic tools needed to administer a private practice, with novel research-based treatment instruments. Right now we are working on a module for psychometric symptom analysis based on clinical research, an algorithm matching patient and therapist based on empirical treatment data and a suite of tools to aid the therapists professional development.
