The Why: As a professional footballer for 18 years, including many as captain of Vålerenga, I’ve experienced firsthand the enormous pressure players face. It wasn’t until the latter part of my career, when I discovered the power of mental training, that I realized how much better prepared and focused I could be. That sparked the idea for Mindbuddy. I wanted to create a tool that made mental training accessible to every young athlete, breaking down the barriers of stigma and cost, and ensuring they can unlock their full potential - both on and off the pitch.
