Comlight is a Norwegian company specializing in energy saving streetlight solutions and is a commercial technology provider on the international market. For Comlight, the question is how to solve the problem of pointless energy waste in fully illuminated roads at times when there is no traffic. The answer is the Motion Sensing Street Light Control System, an energy saving technology that illuminates only when and where it is actually needed, without compromising the safety. The system features a radar detector on each light pole that senses all activity that requires optimal lighting on the road or in the area. When movement is detected by the closest street light, the light turns on to a full 100 per cent, allowing full sight and turns down to 20 per cent for energy saving when no one is around. The system has been tested by the Norwegian Public Road Authority and is represented in thousands of light points across Europe. Comlight is constantly expanding through its distribution partners. The system suits roads/streets, parks, large industrial areas and residential areas. Comlight sells to commercial distributors and is continuously working to find distribution partners that match its environmental values and future plans.

WeWantToKnow is a French-Norwegian company that focuses on Game-Based Learning. Its first product is the math game "DragonBox" and it has more games in the planning stages. The company was founded by financial analyst turned math teacher Jean-Baptiste Huyhn, the leading French game developer Patrick Marchal, and former Opera Software executives Rolf Assev and Christen Krogh. WeWantToKnow aims to make learning fun, easy and addictive. DragonBox does away with tedious equations and math quizzes, replacing them instead with a simple game involving cards and a magical box. The game evolves as kids master the skills and concepts presented. After one hour of playing DragonBox, twelve-year olds can tackle equations their parents struggle to solve. DragonBox was pre-launched in Norway to let schools, kids and parents test the game. The total estimated cost for damage caused by hurricanes in 2017, is calculated at $250 billion. Also in 2018, we have seen hurricanes causing catastrophic damage and human tragedies. Tropical hurricanes are generated when masses of cold and warm air collide. And the sea surface temperature is above 26.5°C. We are doing research and development to cool the sea surface temperature by exploiting colder water deeper down in the sea. This will help us cope with climate change. The companyOceanTherm AS was founded in 2017 and is engaged in the research and development of methods and technologies preventing tropical storms from becoming devastating. OceanTerm AS also delivers maritime counseling. The challenge Many people have tried to find ways of preventing hurricanes before they make landfall, resulting in the loss of human lives. In recent years we have witnessed intense tropical storms, costing thousands of lives, as well as massive destructions. For example: in 2005, hurricane Katrina killed more than 1,800 people and caused damage of $ 90 billion. In 2016, hurricane Matthew swept across Haiti, taking 852 lives and destroying many towns on the island. The total estimated cost for damage caused by hurricanes in 2017, is calculated at $250 billion. Tropical hurricanes are generated when masses of cold and warm air collide. Another essential factor is that the sea surface temperature is above 26.5°C. Climate change is causing sea surface temperatures to increase. In the case of hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria that occurred between August and September 2017, sea surface temperatures were measured as high as 32°C. The big questionIs it possible to cool the sea surface to below 26.5°C by exploiting colder water from deeper in the water column? Sesam imports will initially import products from Asia, mainly from the Philippines in the beginning. The reason for starting the company is that Filipinos are struggling to find Filipino and Asian food in Asian stores in Norway, there is a big gap in the selection of stores that offer food from Asia. Many foreigners living in Norway craves food and taste from their homeland and one of them are Filipinos. As of 2021, access to Filipino products is still limited while the Filipino community is growing. Therefore, we are very grateful to start this business. We will offer food, beverage, fruits, and vegetables from the entire Asia to customers in Norway. We will sell them online on our online shop and Facebook store to private customers in Norway, we will also offer our products to businesses in Norway such as Asian stores and restaurants and online sellers. We will offer the most selling products but also offer the products that we know the Asian communities are missing and having trouble to obtain in Norway. Our goal is to have the best and biggest product assortment in store in Norway. We will have a cold storage with some fresh fruit and vegetables but most of this order have to be ordered in advance to provide loss of goods due to short shell life. Frozen food like fish and meat will we have on cold storage for fast delivering.
