North Sea Salt Works

We are a family business located on the island of Gossen in Northwestern Norway. Our goal is to reinvigorate Norway’s centuries old production of sea salt.We are a Norwegian producer of all natural sea salts. Our clean mineral-rich sea and dedication to quality gives our salt its great character, taste and personality. Our Flake Salt HAVSNØ [Snow of the SEA] is available in stores in Norway, Germany and USA and can be tasted in some of the worlds best restaurants.

The Company originates from several years of research at the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim.

Morescope is a sustainability intelligence platform that helps companies turn complex climate data into actionable insights. We solve the problem many organizations face today: they want to reduce their environmental impact, but lack the tools, data, and clarity to make informed decisions. Traditional carbon accounting is often manual, fragmented, and backward-looking — making it hard to integrate sustainability into everyday operations and strategy. Morescope addresses this by offering a platform that automates emissions data collection, ensures compliance with regulations, and provides intuitive dashboards for tracking progress. Our goal is to empower companies to understand their footprint in real-time and take measurable steps toward reducing it — not just for reporting, but for real change. We believe the path to a sustainable future starts with better insight, and we’re here to make that insight accessible, reliable, and actionable for everyone.

Hive Initiative

The Hive Initiative is creating tools to help companies integrate adaptation and mitigation efforts within their organisation through design-thinking workshops and implementation frameworks. As our planet warms and ecosystems continue to change, businesses will be increasingly required to make meaningful- and reportable- changes. As most people do not have a background in environmental science, it can be challenging to understand the full picture and how roles can be adapted. And while sustainability courses and seminars convey knowledge, it remains challenging to keep the energy high, the culture empowered, and the knowledge put into practice. The Hive Initiative’s Mini Climate Summit makes it easy to address these challenges. It brings employees together in real time to learn science-based facts and then gives them a forum to collaborate on solutions. With ideas captured and implemented, KPIs are met, ESG requirements are fulfilled and culture is strengthened. The result: more minds that help make company sustainability more active, enabled and empowered, which in turn makes society more educated and resilient. We are a group of people with high levels of climate anxiety- but also high levels of optimism. We want to use our skills in design and communication to make it easier for everyone to stay educated, hopeful and empowered, which will make it much easier for all of us to adapt to our changing world. As the founder, I wanted to work on solutions every day, and did so while having a day job. After 4 years, myself and my collaborators have built up a good product prototype, solid relationships with other climate orgs, and solid vision of what we hope to achieve. So it was the right time to focus on this fully. I really do believe that all of us want a world that is fair for everyone and is in harmony nature. We just have to figure out how to get there.

Ren Hub AS

I dagens hektiske verden er det en betydelig utfordring for mange byboere og bedrifter å opprettholde et rent hjem eller arbeidsmiljø. Dette problemet påvirker et bredt spekter av individer og organisasjoner, fra travle profesjonelle til småbedriftseiere som sliter med å finne pålitelige og effektive rengjøringstjenester. Problemet er utbredt i byer som Oslo, hvor etterspørselen etter profesjonelle rengjøringstjenester ofte overstiger tilbudet, noe som fører til inkonsekvent kvalitet og upraktisk planlegging. Ren Hub løser dette problemet ved å utvikle en omfattende plattform for rengjøringstjenester som sømløst kobler kunder med erfarne og godkjente renholdere. Vår plattform tilbyr: Brukervennlig planlegging: Kunder kan enkelt bestille rengjøringstjenester gjennom vår intuitive app eller nettside, og velge tider som passer deres travle tidsplan. Ideen til Ren Hub kom fra mine egne utfordringer med å opprettholde et rent hjem mens jeg håndterte en hektisk arbeidsplan. Jeg innså at mange mennesker i urbane omgivelser står overfor lignende utfordringer, og ofte går på kompromiss med renslighet på grunn av tidsbegrensninger eller upålitelige tjenesteleverandører. Denne personlige erfaringen, sammen med omfattende markedsundersøkelser, fremhevet et betydelig gap i tilgjengeligheten av konsistente og praktiske rengjøringstjenester. Drevet av en lidenskap for å løse virkelige problemer og et ønske om å gjøre en positiv innvirkning på folks daglige liv, bestemte jeg meg for å forlate min dagjobb og fokusere på å bygge Ren Hub. Vårt oppdrag er å fjerne stresset med rengjøring, slik at kundene våre kan nyte renere, sunnere omgivelser uten bekymringer. Denne reisen er drevet av visjonen om å transformere rengjøringsindustrien med innovative løsninger som møter de stadig skiftende behovene i det moderne bylivet.

Zeproc (www.zeproc.com) is a data and AI-driven marketplace consolidating Non-strategic supply for industrial businesses on a single platform, starting with tail-end consumables. We envision building the procurement platform for industrial 4.0 businesses, lowering costs and the environmental impact of consumption by opening access to high-quality suppliers, managing cradle-to-gate carbon footprint, and tailor-fit procurement solutions.

IT.no

IT.no ble stiftet sent i 2020 med en klar visjon om å forenkle IT og digitalisere Norges bedrifter. Målet var å klare dette med til gunstige priser og den beste kundereisen med ansatte som har langvarig erfaring fra bransjen. Vi skulle bistå både som en komplett IT-avdeling for bedriftene, men også for muligheten til å begrense tilbudet til medhjelpere for eksisterende IT-ressurser hos kundene. Gründerne i selskapet har begge langvarig erfaring fra ISP og IT bransjen der de bygget opp egne avdelinger. Det var viktig at både en tekniker og en selger begge stod på eiersiden for å ivareta produkt og service så vel som det kommersielle. Det tok ikke lang tid til før flere anerkjente bedrifter stod på kundelisten og flere dyktige ansatte tiltrådde. Selskapet selger i dag hovedsakelig basert på anbefalinger bedrifter i mellom med kun en aktiv selger, men har måttet stoppe salg ved flere for å ivareta gode kundereiser. Vi starter nå et nytt selskap som skal fornye maskinvare/hardware markedet B2B som er bygget på en plattform vi utvikler.

Kvikk is a B2C Insurtech company disrupting the travel insurance sector through our mobile platform. Designed with millennials, Gen Z and their expectations in mind, our vision is clear: 
Revolutionizing the way we protect ourselves while exploring the world. We are leveraging GEO-fencing technology to distribute, personalize and offer quotes tailored to your location in real-time. No more hassle with paperwork or waiting in line. We are 100% digital and are providing a full insurance experience in the pockets of everyone leaving their homes. In Norway 50% of all young adults don't have travel insurance, and they perceive insurance as complicated, expensive and unavailable. At the same time, the insurance industry lacks digitisation with only 40% of all insurance sales taking place on a digital platform. We have developed travel insurance tailored to the specific needs of each traveller, all within a convenient and user-friendly app. By harnessing the power of GEO-fencing we ensure travellers receive seamless coverage when and where they need it, offering a level of flexibility unseen in the industry. We have built the insurance product, and we are going to build the app. Simen started working on Kvikk while studying Innovation & Management, and has previously been travelling around the world several times and do understand the importance of travel insurance. We honestly believe that insurance companies should do better. In this digital world, insurance should be more available for the customer. There should be possible to buy insurance, get an overview and file claims within minutes, and always available in your own pocket. We also believe in fair and transparent products, where the customer actually gets a personalised products tailored to their own travel pattern. We want to rewrite the rules of insurance by making it available, fair, easy and personalised.

Kvist Solutions AS

Empowering construction projects ​to make a sustainable impact​, with human centric technology. Building sustainable is difficult. Today, building sustainable involves unstructured, unscalable and time-consuming processes. Drowned in paperwork and documentation, experts waste time on mundane and frustrating tasks instead of exploiting their expertise. Kvist makes the first complete digital system for sustainability reporting for construction projects. By delivering a cloud-based software that makes it really easy for projects to collect, validate and analyse environmental data, we remove friction in the unstructured processes that occur when choosing to build sustainable. Lower costs​. Lower risks​. Greener cities​. With big names among our customers and backed by investors like Alliance Venture, Arkwright X, DNB and Startuplab, we are well on our way to grow full speed. We are a relatively young team of currently 14 people, spread across expertise areas with a mix of engineering, developers, customer success and business development, some coming directly from university and others with a background in the industry. We have a very nice office at a co-working space in the very centre of Oslo, surrounded by both small startups and some established companies, and there is great and low-priced canteen, where we have lunch. We have access to many meeting rooms and facilities when you need silence, but also a great young and dynamic environment, where things are happening all the time. Our culture is fully flexible, meaning that everyone is allowed to work from home when needed, but as a small team we also enjoy working together, and most of us prefer to come to the office. We are a very social team, which easily comes when being small, and we do a lot of activities together like team dinners, Friday bars etc., but it is also fully accepted to skip and go home, when parts of the team decide to go for Karaoke at 1am. Empire AI is a company founded by workspace consultants with over a decade of experience in developing office buildings. Through our work, we noticed that the office planning process is characterized by gut-feelings, guesswork and outdated benchmarks. This results in suboptimal office space that has massive amounts of unused space - an average of 80-90% of chairs and 50-60% of rooms remain empty during work hours in a typical office building today. Simultaneously, employees are complaining they do not have the necessary rooms and support their work. To address this issue, we created Empire AI. Empire's software is designed to transform the way you plan and manage your office space, making office buildings more space efficient, sustainable, and people-centric. Our machine learning models can predict how your office space will be used, allowing you to make informed decisions before you even begin building. With our software, you'll be able to identify which rooms and areas will be most useful and which will be less so, ensuring optimal utilization of your space. Our mission is to help food manufacturers reduce food waste and cost through our digital platform. To date, we've successfully transacted over 4.000 tons of food, and we're continuing to scale our business to have an even greater impact. We have ambitious growth plans and are expanding. We recently carried out a rebranding and are in the process of building our product & technology team to scale further.

InfoTiles’ innovative digital analytics platform spans the water value chain, simplifying and automating the tedious steps of consolidating data and applying real-time analytics and machine learning for water management.
