Taksonomien

Tvinn Solutions

The building industry alone accounts for 40% of the global CO2 emissions. We believe that reducing this number starts with looking at materials we already have. Reuse of building materials is however not easy to coordinate and execute. Our mission is therefore to make this information available, and facilitate the process from design to construction. Through a series of web-applications and integrations with Building Information Modelling (BIM) software, we’ve started to form synchronized and comprehensive solutions to help the building industry reduce its climate change. Tvinn Solutions Enables Circular Economy through Reuse-oriented Solutions for rchitects, Real-estate developers and owners.

InfoTiles

InfoTiles’ innovative digital analytics platform spans the water value chain, simplifying and automating the tedious steps of consolidating data and applying real-time analytics and machine learning for water management. InfoTiles provides software that combines and enriches data from different silos - including legacy water utility systems. When enhanced with public data, utility companies discover new insights and make sustainable decisions based on facts, leading to sustainable water use in communities. Ageing infrastructure, inadequate investment, and a changing climate are all contributing to unsustainable water use and supplies globally. Data can help address these challenges in a connected and coherent way that is fit for purpose for decisions makers. For more information, visit https://www.infotiles.no/

Material Mapper AS

Material Mapper’s vision is to create a market of scale for secondary building materials by mapping them in Europe and leading the transition towards a closed-loop circular construction and demolition industry. The European construction industry is urgently lacking clear, centralized access to information about secondary building materials available in their area, due to the fragmentation and inconsistency with which these public data are captured and stored. This makes building planning with quality secondary building materials time and cost-intensive for stakeholders, in turn making it difficult to comply with the EU’s Waste Directive of 70% recycled/re-used building materials. Our young, multi-award-winning company is planning to launch a project over 24 months to build a breakthrough innovation for the whole of Europe using artificial intelligence and machine learning that will extract, read, evaluate, and forecast quantities of secondary building materials for the user, making future planning for property developers seamless through our platform. We are confident that our product is unique and that we have no direct competition. By combining our deep technology, partnership development, and B2B sales expertise, we are already working closely with major industry actors to harness insights and their existing networks for our customer base.

NEC OncoImmunity AS

OncoImmunity is a bioinformatics company providing unique machine-learning software to identify tumor-specific mutations that can be targeted by a patient’s own immune system (known as neoantigens). The OncoImmunity solution is important because recent breakthroughs in the field of Immuno-Oncology (I-O) such as the development of checkpoint inhibitors and personalized cancer vaccines, clearly demonstrate that a patient’s immune system can be harnessed to successfully treat cancer. The cost of identifying tumor-specific mutations in a patient’s cancer using next-generation sequencing (NGS) is now trivial and this technology will be key to enabling truly personalized immunotherapies to be developed in a technically and economically feasible manner. However, the remaining challenge that currently limits the field, and which is addressed by the OncoImmunity solution, is predicting which tumor-specific mutations can stimulate a patient’s immune system i.e. are immunogenic. Using NGS data as input, the OncoImmunity software enables accurate patient selection for cancer immunotherapy and can identify optimal targets for personalized cancer vaccines & cell therapies in a clinically actionable time frame. Beginning from this first product offering, OncoImmunity has the vision to become the world’s leading provider of software to guide cancer immunotherapy to improve survival rates for cancer patients. To achieve this OncoImmunity has assembled a growing team of world-class bioinformaticians, data scientists, and software engineers; developing its cutting-edge machine-learning technology that will help fulfill the promise of immunotherapy in the fight against cancer. OncoImmunity’s technology will disrupt the I-O field by offering regulatory-compliant prediction software on a software-as-a-service basis (SaaS). This will allow big pharma, biotechnology, and immunotherapy companies of any size to access OncoImmunity’s cutting-edge prediction software. The company is headquartered in an ideal scientific and entrepreneurial ecosystem to develop its technology at the Oslo Cancer Cluster Incubator; adjacent to the Institute for Cancer Research and the Norwegian Radium Hospital. OncoImmunity is a privately held company, founded in 2014 by experienced bioinformatics scientists (Dr. Trevor Clancy and Professor Eivind Hovig), and an experienced immunologist with a business development background (Dr. Richard Stratford). The company is backed by private financing from the Norwegian Radium Hospital Research Foundation, the Norwegian Cancer Society, STARTUPLAB, and Grotmol Solutions, in addition to a number of private software investors. The company is also supported by grants awarded from the Norwegian Research Council, Innovation Norway, and the EU. The company has already established both national and international collaborations and pilot projects to develop further proof-of-concept data and validate its software.
