We enable the green shift to happen in new markets! TioTech is a Norwegian producer of titania (TiO2) nanomaterials and a developer of titania-based technology. We know how to optimise the production process and properties of titania nanoparticles. After successfully developing and commercialising a series of photocatalytic surface treatment products (www.joma-int.com), we are directing our R&D efforts towards a new area; the use of titania as anode-material in Lithium-ion batteries (LIB). A battery with our material on the anode will charge faster, last longer, be safer and tolerate temperature variation better than conventional batteries which have graphite on the anode, and outcompete LTO-batteries on capacity. The development work takes place in our in-house laboratory in Bergen, where our dedicated team (Hjørdis, Marthe, Rob, Anders) play around with titania, giving life to innovative solutions.

Med-Storm's Skin Conductance Algesimeter (SCA) uses the principle of skin conductance to measure pain, allowing us to titrate the right amount of pain medication for each, individual patient. This award-winning technology is not affected by changes in blood circulation, heart rate, hypotensia, environmental temperatures, and hypoxia, and shows low variation between individuals at the same level of pain. The pain monitor can be used on patients as young as 23 weeks of gestational age, as well as geriatric patients. MS is currently working on a miniaturized and wireless version of the SCA.

AVISOMO is developing indoor growing modules for farmers. These modules have an integrated regulation system that automatically cares for the environment inside and outside the module. The environment being nutrients in the hydroponic nutrient solution, pH levels, temperature, CO2 levels, light intensity and so on. This regulator is what makes this technology available to everyone. The regulation technology combined with top-shelf advanced LED makes our modules the best way to increase a farmer's yield more cost- and labour-effective.

The problem:The easiest pollution to clean up, is what's on the surface. Lost fishing gear is hidden on the bottom. It doesn't only cause pollution, but also torture and death of enormous amounts of animals. About 10% of the total amount of seafood harvested are wasted to ghost fishing. Hundreds of thousands of crab- and lobster traps are lost every years. In the Florida Keys alone an estimated 100 000 traps are lost every yearCaptured animals starve to death, and become bait for others to follow. Lost traps thus become endless killing machines at a severe societal and environmental cost. Over time traps also start dissolving, releasing microplastics into the ocean, working its way into the food chain and polluting our seafood. The solution:ResqUnit is a device that's mounted on top of a trap or a pot. If the trap is left under water for a longer period of time, ResqUnit activates and floats to the surface. Thus enabling you to retrieve it.We are hoping to raise awareness so that anyone who sees the unique floating device, will either pull up the equipment or report it's location. We have now published the first version of the website Devent for Agility. The idea is to have a website where you can find agility-related information in the form of a meeting overview (list or calendar), results, annual overviews, and statistics for dog/organizer/judge (graphs are best viewed on a PC or landline phone). You manage which dogs you want to see statistics for easily on "my page". The system also has modules for setting up and running your own events and supports e.g. 5 size classes if desired. Coffee farmers are the most exposed, as with the changing environmental and financial climate, they hold the greatest risk of all: to not be able to sell their crop. At Tropiq we educate farmers on how to increase their overall quality. We also commit to buying a big part of their most prised coffees and bring them to market. In other words, we take pride in pre-committing to our suppliers/farmers each season so that they don't suffer any major losses. This commitment is not only financially driven, it's meant to give farmers the freedom to focus on quality and having a social impact.

We mean that the accounting service does not have to be expensive and you can still have full controll even you don´t do the accounts yourself. We will continuously try to push the price down by automating more and more of the accounting work inhouse.
