She is a founding partner of Headshed and our Lead Developer from September 2017.She likes to promote Domain Driven Design and Behaviour Driven Development, giving the occasional lecture at various international conferences.Rune SkjeiRune is the CEO of Consort AS, one of the leading callcenters in Norway. He has extensive experience as a leader of callcenters and sales-organisations within finance and media.Rune is one of the founders of Headshed, and a member of the board.------From September 2017, Headshed will join NTNU Accel and be located in the Sparebank 1 SMN Fintech incubator at Søndre gate in the centre of Trondheim. Headshed has also been selected to participate in TINC during oct/nov 2017. After many years in the construction industry, Kim Andre Heggenes was tired of working with poor tools for communication and documentation in the projects. That is why he started Goliath Systemer in 2017, where they developed the precursor to Gripr. Based on all experiences and feedback since then, we have spent the last year building the tool from scratch to a whole new level. If you knew us from the Goliath era, you will still find much of what you appreciated. If it's the first time you've met us, we think you'll be in for a positive surprise. Our ambitions have always been high, but we would like to admit that resources have not always matched the ambitions. That is why we are extra pleased that we have now brought Aider on the team, an accountancy group with 16 offices and 600 employees. Toolbox that you use directly from your mobile on the construction site, where you document everything that happens in the project. Here you inform and communicate with the others in the project, you have checklists for everything to be done and you see who is responsible for what. How do you use it? You get straight to the point without complicated menus. Take a picture of what has been done or what the challenge is, write a short comment and save it. Give messages to carpenters, electricians, tilers, plumbers or anyone else, you write or read them directly on your phone. Who is it made for? For you who are craftsmen, a toolbox that is always available, so simple that you actually use it. What benefits does it give you? A working day with fewer phone calls and easier communication with the others in the project. When you wonder, for example, who is responsible for a task, which HSE rules apply here or what has been carried out, you will find it in Gripr on your phone. Gripr is a toolbox with the tools you need to carry out projects neatly and efficiently. Because all agreements, HSE requirements and work assignments are available at all times, and because all deviations and changes can be documented with text and images as soon as they occur. It took days to navigate the local system architecture. And even when we found documentation, the lack of standardization made things even harder. To make matters worse, we never really understood the big picture, “how were we affecting other teams, processes, and systems?” we could never know. All this wasted time was costing these companies money and causing employees huge amounts of frustration, especially when new staff arrived. The total estimated cost for damage caused by hurricanes in 2017, is calculated at $250 billion. Also in 2018, we have seen hurricanes causing catastrophic damage and human tragedies. Tropical hurricanes are generated when masses of cold and warm air collide. And the sea surface temperature is above 26.5°C. We are doing research and development to cool the sea surface temperature by exploiting colder water deeper down in the sea. This will help us cope with climate change. The companyOceanTherm AS was founded in 2017 and is engaged in the research and development of methods and technologies preventing tropical storms from becoming devastating. OceanTerm AS also delivers maritime counseling. The challenge Many people have tried to find ways of preventing hurricanes before they make landfall, resulting in the loss of human lives. In recent years we have witnessed intense tropical storms, costing thousands of lives, as well as massive destructions. For example: in 2005, hurricane Katrina killed more than 1,800 people and caused damage of $ 90 billion. In 2016, hurricane Matthew swept across Haiti, taking 852 lives and destroying many towns on the island. The total estimated cost for damage caused by hurricanes in 2017, is calculated at $250 billion. Tropical hurricanes are generated when masses of cold and warm air collide. Another essential factor is that the sea surface temperature is above 26.5°C. Climate change is causing sea surface temperatures to increase. In the case of hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria that occurred between August and September 2017, sea surface temperatures were measured as high as 32°C. The big questionIs it possible to cool the sea surface to below 26.5°C by exploiting colder water from deeper in the water column?
