Hark Technologies is working towards a future where people don't have to worry about their electricity consumption. We have developed a custom device for gathering data from smart electricity meters, and on top of this data we are building services for reducing power peaks in the electricity grid. This is useful for both end users and grid owners. We believe in a smart future without vendor lock-in, so we are integrating existing products into our platform.

We founded Metaito in February 2019, after spending more than four years at NTNU. The initial idea was sparked in 2014 when we discovered the challenge of organizing our resources as students. Since then, we have gone through several iterations of prototypes. We created a platform for organizing and sharing tools, links and documents on the Internet - Factsplat. As of Q3 2024, we have several paying customers, investors, raised amount of 5 467 041 NOK, almost 6,000 users of the platform, contracts with various non-governmental organizations, 19 sports teams on board as our partners, a solid team, and a working product. Factsplat has evolved into a platform designed to help users manage their digital lives efficiently. Our mission is to give individuals and organizations control over their online resources, ensuring they are organized, accessible, and shareable, thereby reducing distractions and improving focus. We want to create a distraction free environment where you can organize the internet in a way that makes sense to you, while utilizing the strengths of the community. Sometimes we just want someone who tells us exactly what to do, and Allva does just that for the big events in life. On our event planning platform, we are providing the users with prefilled and personalized content by the use of Artificial Intelligence. We make the actual project for them. The platform guides them through the entire planning process, and shows them relevant articles, tips, and ads along the way. For advertisers, Allva creates completely new opportunities by offering contextual marketing to a pre-segmented target group that is in a buying state of mind. The Missing Maps project maps the most vulnerable places in the developing world.  Building on the excellent work done by the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT) and others in mapping as emergency response, the Missing Maps Project aims to map the places in the world where the most vulnerable people live in a proactive way. Instead of responding to a natural disaster, conflict or epidemic, regions vulnerable to crises are identified and mapped in anticipation of crises, meaning that when one occurs, local people, NGOs and other responders can start using the maps and the data from the word go, saving valuable time, and potentially, lives.The Missing Maps Project is an open collaboration founded by the American Red Cross, the British Red Cross, Humanitarian OSM Team (HOT) and Medecins Sans Frontieres/Doctors Without Borders (MSF).
