Haptiq

Haptiq AS is a technology company that develops 3D virtual and augmented reality applications for mission-critical industries. We have a background from international AAA gaming and strong experience in core and related technologies, their development tools, and processes. Our customers span from The Department of Health and Human Services to the Norwegian Special Operation Forces. Haptiq has developed a customizable EHS training system that we connect to a digital twin of the workplace in 1:1 scale virtual reality (VR). This immersive includes natural interaction between instructor and fellow trainees as avatars, an intuitive user interface and a built-in task creator so you can add or modify training sessions. All data generated by employees training in the system is stored and easily accessible through an admin dashboard.

AWAN (As We Are Now)

AWAN (As We Are Now) is a Nordic comfort-first fashion brand for women by women, based on circular principles and a DTC business model. Rebartek AS

The short story: We're a Norwegian contech startup and we're prefabricating rebar cages with robotics. The long story: Rebartek was founded in 03/2018. In our first year, we have grown our team to 10 members with a wide range of backgrounds from different industries. We are developing a ground-breaking solution for the construction industry. Our robots manufacture steel reinforcement cages that are used in concrete structures. We are developing a highly automated service that starts at the design of the cages and ends with the delivery of the cages to the construction site. Today almost all rebar welding and tying is done manually by humans. This is dangerous, time-consuming and physically brutal work. We want to provide an optimized solution for manufacturing rebar, with an added bonus of tailored models and a streamlined administrative workflow.  Our philosophy is to take a lot of small steps quickly. We embrace failures and learn from them. We like being daring, trying new things and look for opportunities rather than focusing on limitations.  We're hiring! Rebartek needs daring, smart people. Headshed is a Trondheim-based SaaS Technology company building next generation sales tools, driven by the use of machine learning and tons of data from own databases and attractive third parties. We’re building different algorithms to find “the next right customer” to be delivered to sales departments and sales agents - giving our customers increased sales while cutting down on manpower. Our product Cube is a comprehensive solution for both sales agents, managers and clients. CEO – Magnus Hoem SlørdalMagnus has 15 years experience from callcenters, sales and sales management, and knows the callcenter business from the inside.His role in Headshed is CEO, product owner, sales/marketing and our main point of contact for our customers.Magnus is one of the founders of Headshed, and a member of the board.CTO – Torbjørn SlørdalTorbjørn has a Master of Science in Information Technology from NTNU, and has extensive experience as a developer, architect and IT leader in Statoil ASA.Torbjørn is one of the founders of Headshed, chairman of the board, and joined the company full time in September 2016.His main responsibility is to manage the software development and IT operations.Lead developer – Ellen LippeEllen has a Master of Science in Information Technology/Artificial Intelligence from NTNU, and comes to us after 15 years of leading software development teams in Statoil. She is a founding partner of Headshed and our Lead Developer from September 2017.She likes to promote Domain Driven Design and Behaviour Driven Development, giving the occasional lecture at various international conferences.Rune SkjeiRune is the CEO of Consort AS, one of the leading callcenters in Norway. He has extensive experience as a leader of callcenters and sales-organisations within finance and media.Rune is one of the founders of Headshed, and a member of the board.------From September 2017, Headshed will join NTNU Accel and be located in the Sparebank 1 SMN Fintech incubator at Søndre gate in the centre of Trondheim. Headshed has also been selected to participate in TINC during oct/nov 2017. TINC is a technology incubator programme in Silicon Valley hosted by Innovation Norway.

WeWantToKnow

WeWantToKnow is a French-Norwegian company that focuses on Game-Based Learning. Its first product is the math game "DragonBox" and it has more games in the planning stages. The company was founded by financial analyst turned math teacher Jean-Baptiste Huyhn, the leading French game developer Patrick Marchal, and former Opera Software executives Rolf Assev and Christen Krogh. WeWantToKnow aims to make learning fun, easy and addictive. DragonBox does away with tedious equations and math quizzes, replacing them instead with a simple game involving cards and a magical box. The game evolves as kids master the skills and concepts presented. After one hour of playing DragonBox, twelve-year olds can tackle equations their parents struggle to solve. DragonBox was pre-launched in Norway to let schools, kids and parents test the game. Almost immediately, it rocketed to the top of the charts, becoming the most purchased app in the Apple App Store in Norway-- displacing other, more traditional games - check it out at - www.dragonbox.com

EquaFish AS

EquaFish is a company developing the only complete decision-making tool for fish farm operation. The AquaCulture industry is facing mass mortality and decreased yields as a result of knowledge and data being fragmented througout the farm. One facility usually have 10-15 different systems, Excell sheets and notes where only 10-15% of the functionality is actually used. EquaFish streamlines, process and visualize the data so that every employee, no matter role, understand the plan, status and future of the production. This $140B problem is faced by salmon farmers, telapia, halibut, shellfish and char farmers all alike. The tech is the same, even though the species is not. EquaFish has a SaaS solution bringing all growth, water quality, mortality and feed data into one, exploiting mathematical and statistical data processing to find causes and effects, which the fish farmer can act upon. The result is higher yield with reduced risks in the production, increased effiency, knowledge sharing and learning with the employees. Finally fish produced in more stable environments with less risk of death and non-friendly conditions. EquaFish was startet on the belief that one of the biggest industries deserve the newest and best tools. The time of post-it notes, Excell and systems from the 90s died 15years ago and the AquaCulture industry didnt get the memo.
