Proptly was founded in 2021 by Kristoffer Gjerde, Gunnar Windsand Sem, and Thomas Kristiansen, with a bold vision to transform the often-overlooked, yet critical, part of the climate tech ecosystem: installations. What started as a casual conversation over Christmas drinks about the headaches of managing contractors, quickly turned into a mission to streamline the installation process for climate tech solutions across Europe. We recognized that while there’s no shortage of companies innovating in the climate tech space—producing world-class EV chargers, heat pumps, and solar panels—the bottleneck often lies in getting these technologies deployed quickly and efficiently. That’s where Proptly comes in. We’ve built a B2B marketplace that connects climate tech companies with a network of skilled, vetted installers, making sure that cutting-edge green technologies reach consumers without the typical delays and frustrations. Think of it like Uber for installations: companies get real-time data on installer performance, response times, and customer satisfaction, allowing them to scale their operations with ease. Revolutionizing the Installation Process Our platform tackles a glaring inefficiency in the market—the installation bottleneck—by ensuring that the best installers, backed by proven performance metrics, are always available to deploy climate tech solutions. For climate tech companies, we’re solving a massive headache: ensuring their innovations get installed, not just built. For contractors, we’re providing consistent job opportunities, helping them grow their businesses in a fast-expanding green economy. With $4 million in seed funding, high-profile partnerships including Easee, Sungrow, and Coop, and a stellar team of industry veterans from companies like Kahoot, Oda, McKinsey, EY, Tesla, and Easee, we’re setting the standard for how climate tech installations should be done. Our Vision Proptly aims to become the leading B2B marketplace for order-to-installation processes across Europe and beyond. Eyecheck System

The Product Eyecheck System is a modular SaaS platform that effectively enables sharing of clinical imaging, referrals, and other clinical correspondence instantly and securely between healthcare professionals, such as optometrists, eye doctors, and hospitals. By digitizing the patient journey we enable quicker treatments and fewer patient queues as we can process more patients with uncomplicated diagnoses more effectively. The Problem The prevalence of the most common retinal diseases, age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and diabetic retinopathy (DR), is rising in industrialized countries. In addition to demographic changes, this trend is also partly driven by growing numbers of patients with diabetes. This is increasing the workload in hospital ophthalmic units, and public ophthalmologists leading to waiting times of up to 12 months in Norway. This in turn increases the risk for serious eye damage in the general population at risk. The Solution Eyecheck System is a modular SaaS platform that shares clinical imaging, referrals, and other clinical correspondence securely and instantly between healthcare professionals. This in turn enables decentralized controls and diagnosis of patients even in rural areas with sub-optimal eye specialist coverage. Decentralized controls and screenings are made possible due to the vast amount of geographically spread retina imaging devices in over 600 optometrist locations throughout Norway alone. In addition to that, there is a wide-ranging discrepancy of competence levels across the profession of optometrists, where such a service would benefit both the patients and the optometrists. The reason why We are passionate about Eyecare and want to avoid blindness and other serious eye complications in Europe by digitizing the patient journey and creating a modern, more sustainable way to help patients get better. Our founder is an ophthalmologist (eye doctor) in Akershus and embarked on this journey due to his own experience when meeting patients that waited unnecessarily long on their appointment and ultimately an uncomplicated diagnosis.

--Improving resilience against a changing climate-- Haawal Engineering focuses on creating practical solutions to address the challenges of a changing climate. Our main innovation is a user-friendly, portable flood barrier designed to protect communities from flooding. Developed and patented by our team, this effective solution has already been adopted in Norway, Germany, and Spain. As we continue to grow and adapt, Haawal Engineering remains dedicated to finding accessible and inventive ways to help communities face the realities of climate change.

Aega

Aega ASA is a solar utility company that acquires and operates solar power plants. The company currently owns a portfolio of seven individual solar parks in the Umbria, Lazio, Abruzzo, Emilia-Romagna and Lombardia regions in Italy with a combined production capacity of 7MWp, and an initial annual electricity production of approximately 10GWh depending on the annual solar irradiation.  The company focuses on acquisitions of smaller existing solar parks (below 5MWp capacity), following strict investment criteria.  The company targets to reach a total production capacity of 20MW within 2017 by taking advantage of the current attractive market for secondary solar parks meeting the strict investment criteria.

SAGA Robotics

The Thorvald platforms represent a low-cost alternative to a wide variety of agricultural operations. All the Thorvald robots are built using the same components, but we customize each robot for your specific needs based on the innovative modular design. We can therefore deliver robots using standard parts but customized design to serve your needs. All our robots are built to operate in an outdoor environment. They are therefore IP67 classified at all the lower parts that may be submersed in water (wheels, lower gears, etc), and IP56 for the rest of the robot.

iNANOD

iNANOD AS is a nanotechnology based anticancer drug developing company operating from Oslo Cancer Cluster Incubator established in 2016.  The objective is to increase efficacy of cancer drugs and to reduce unintended side-effects for cancer patients and maximize their longevity. We have a strong group of people to deliver on the promise which comprises of our collaborators, scientific advisors and business advisors.   Our aim is to become a pharmaceutical company for anti cancer nanomedicines.  We will take a comprehensive approach, using collaborative research from many small projects and existing literature and infrastructure. Our team consisting of experts within nanotechnology, biology, chemistry, pharmacy and medicine. Our partnerships with research institutions, makes us well suited for developing and commercialising this technology. As the focus is on improved delivery, the technology can greatly improve safety and efficacy of existing cancer drugs. Moreover, the costly development of new drugs will not be necessary. Monetisation and exit will therefore be available in an earlier phase than normal within pharmaceutical development, through selling IPR to established pharmaceutical companies after clinical phase IIa. The Norwegian Research Council has granted our pre-project application in NANO 2021 call and research has started in August 2017. Innovasjon Norge has also supported us with mentoring hours. We are a member of Oslo Cancer Cluster now.

Empire AI is a company founded by workspace consultants with over a decade of experience in developing office buildings. Through our work, we noticed that the office planning process is characterized by gut-feelings, guesswork and outdated benchmarks. This results in suboptimal office space that has massive amounts of unused space - an average of 80-90% of chairs and 50-60% of rooms remain empty during work hours in a typical office building today. Simultaneously, employees are complaining they do not have the necessary rooms and support their work. To address this issue, we created Empire AI. Empire's software is designed to transform the way you plan and manage your office space, making office buildings more space efficient, sustainable, and people-centric. TioTech AS

We enable the green shift to happen in new markets! TioTech is a Norwegian producer of titania (TiO2) nanomaterials and a developer of titania-based technology. We know how to optimise the production process and properties of titania nanoparticles. After successfully developing and commercialising a series of photocatalytic surface treatment products (www.joma-int.com), we are directing our R&D efforts towards a new area; the use of titania as anode-material in Lithium-ion batteries (LIB). A battery with our material on the anode will charge faster, last longer, be safer and tolerate temperature variation better than conventional batteries which have graphite on the anode, and outcompete LTO-batteries on capacity. The development work takes place in our in-house laboratory in Bergen, where our dedicated team (Hjørdis, Marthe, Rob, Anders) play around with titania, giving life to innovative solutions.

The technology provides precise, continuous and real-time information of diaphragm function, our main breathing muscle, to increase the quality of care and reducing costs. RESPINOR’s technology is the winner of Horizon 2020 both in phase I and II. We are addressing an unmet medical need because every breath counts.

DoMore Diagnostics

DoMore Diagnostics is on a mission to transform cancer diagnostics with artificial intelligence to improve patient care and make drug development more effective. We use state-of-the-art methods to improve patients’ quality of life and help clinicians make more informed decisions. Our technology is based on pioneering research on utilizing artificial intelligence to increase the prognostic value from routine clinical pathology cancer tissue samples. The extensive research conducted at top universities (University in Oslo, Oxford University and University College of London) has been published in leading and high impact scientific journals such as The Lancet and Nature Reviews Cancer. These new methods have resulted in fully automated histotyping that provide objective and precise prognostic information that correlate and out-perform existing markers. This novel histotyping can guide selection of therapy to avoid over- and undertreatment. It can also make cancer drug development more effective by ensuring more precise diagnosis and prognosis, which is the fundament for precision medicine. Artificial intelligence is set for a breakthrough in medicine and several megatrends are pushing for new solutions in cancer diagnostics. Digital pathology and new AI algorithms will play a significant role in the future of medicine and hold multiple commercial opportunities. DoMore Diagnostics is at the forefront of the field and will bring these next generation products to the clinic.
