Guardians. https://Guardians.app

This is an app that you have on your phone . It functions as a shield to protect you when you need it. This app uses your family and friends to protect you .when. You are in trouble . you open the app . And take a photo of the person you deem as a threat . This photo is instantly distributed to your family and friends . Who also receive directions on how to get to you by the shortest possible route via google maps . By car or bus bicycle or walking . The police are called up so that you have the option to talk to them should you deem it necessary. We also have a paid version of The app . This version includes a crime map that shows crimes that have recently been committed . this is extremely helpful for places you are visiting and has full coverage in the UK and most of the USA . The reason I am doing it Sitting at home one night, I received a call that changed everything. While working alone in London, my brother had been brutally attacked with a hammer. I was devastated and felt completely powerless. He was miles away in another country, what could I do to help? Nothing! Walking along the river, thinking about what had happened, I looked down at the water and suddenly it came to me. I knew what I had to do. I had to find something that would make everyone safer and help prevent these kinds of attacks from happening again. I realised I could use the one thing everybody carries with them, their phone, as a shield to protect them! This idea became the Guardians app.

Storeshop

Enterprise businesses are investing more in B2B eCommerce solutions than smaller businesses, but Storeshop have set to changed this by innovating eCommerce solutions to be more intuitive and less IT heavy for ease-of-use and implementation. Big companies are investing in expensive E-Commerce solutions to provide structure and automation to their company. This has not been available for small and medium businesses, which has led to a underdeveloped industry managing sales through excel sheets, email and phone. This is time consuming, stressful and does not participate in increased sales. Storeshop delivers a B2B eCommerce platform which integrates with all the biggest economy and ERP platforms in Norway. The systems lets customers shop for products fast and easy, with automized orders that earlier came through mail and by phone. This saves the whole-sellers a lot of time and increase sales by using some of the same methods as we use in B2C. The system supports advanced discount structures, packaging formats, B2C and a lot more.

Comlight

Comlight is a Norwegian company specializing in energy saving streetlight solutions and is a commercial technology provider on the international market. For Comlight, the question is how to solve the problem of pointless energy waste in fully illuminated roads at times when there is no traffic. The answer is the Motion Sensing Street Light Control System, an energy saving technology that illuminates only when and where it is actually needed, without compromising the safety. The system features a radar detector on each light pole that senses all activity that requires optimal lighting on the road or in the area. When movement is detected by the closest street light, the light turns on to a full 100 per cent, allowing full sight and turns down to 20 per cent for energy saving when no one is around. The system has been tested by the Norwegian Public Road Authority and is represented in thousands of light points across Europe. Comlight is constantly expanding through its distribution partners. The system suits roads/streets, parks, large industrial areas and residential areas. Comlight sells to commercial distributors and is continuously working to find distribution partners that match its environmental values and future plans.

Today, Dogu has a team of 19 brave nerds working from 5 offices to build and operate amazing products: SalesScreen and LiveScreen. The name Dogu is an acronym for Data og Utvikling which in Norwegian means Data and Development. We would have trademarked it, but Dogu happens to also be a Japanese mythical figurine dating back to over 10 000 years ago.So, what sets us apart and what makes us special?Aside from our finesse at the most important of startup sports, such as foosball, pingpong and beer pong, we do a LOT of activities together. We have a monthly budget for team building, which can be used for anything from Friday lunches at a restaurant to GoKarts and Lazer Tag to buying a new BBQ grill or Playstation 4 to play. We invest in our people, in a BIG way!Professional development and growth is hugely important to us and we place a premium on face-to-face time and team building activities. We serve as groomsmen in each other’s weddings, we enjoy hanging out together on the weekends, and we plan each other’s bachelor parties. As cliche’ as it may sound, we really are best friends… and at the end of the day, that commitment that we have to each other pours out in our passion for building great products. We have a very horizontal leadership structure and do things not because we have to but because we want to. This company is 100% employee owned and we all care about the growth and success because we are invested in it… I’m not talking financially, I’m talking emotionally.
