Where The Atlantic Ocean meets the Northern Sea, and along the coast of Norway, lies an under-used and fairly unknown natural resource. Our forefathers sustained themselves from the ocean for thousands of years, and for them seaweed was a vital source of vitamins and minerals. All of us that started Tekslo were raised by the ocean, and together we share a dream of creating a more sustainable Earth and reverse the trends on food and health – as we introduce seaweed to the world. Our harvesting areas are located in the sea close to Tekslo lighthouse, west of the island Tofterøy on Sotra. With its perfect currents, clean, clear and high-nutrient water, no fish farming or other pollutants, it is an optimal site for finding high quality seaweed! We harvest wild seaweed by hand from reefs, rocks and islets close to the coast. This allows us to only and carefully collect the best quality. We then dry the seaweed in our custom-designed room, which is built inside a traditional boathouse.

Untreated jaundice in newborns is responsible for more than 100,000 deaths and a substantial number of permanent brain damages each year. More than three quarters of these deaths occur in the poorest regions of the world, in sub-Saharan Africa and south Asia. Cheap treatment is available through e.g. sunlight, but the diagnostic devices in use today cost around 10,000 dollars, making them practically unavailable in low-resource settings.

In the Nordics we produce high quality alcohol beverages. Spirits we are utterly proud of.  Now it's due for someone to blend these products with cow's milk, add classic Nordic berries and fruits, and create a whole new series of Premium Cream Liqueurs for the International market.  In contrary to Irish cream which is based on whiskey, the Nordic Cream are going to be based on traditional Nordic spirits, like the aquavit. In a typical Fjording Nordic Cream recipe you'll find aquavit/vodka/fruit spirits, cream, honey/sugar or other sweetening, and then juice from berries and fruits from the Nordic fauna. Not just aromas and concentrates - the real deal. It shall be as local, genuine and organic as possible. Except from the sugar we'll be looking for the ingredients in our nearby surroundings.

Today, these simulator solutions are of limited use by the industry as the technology has performance issues in real time environment and is expensive to install and maintain. Ulike spesialiserte virksomheter leveret komponenter til stolen, som deride ben, massive seter, spiler og buer til ryggene. Sammenstillingen foregikk hos andre virksomheter – og på samme måte som produsenter I dag jobbet de I et nettverk av spesialiserte leverandører for å oppnå best mulig sluttresultat. Vi I Budalstolen har videreført denne opprinnelige tilnærmingen der blandingen av spesialisert industri og godt håndverk danner grunnlaget for den høyeste kvalitet og beste finnish på stoler som skal fungere I generasjoner.    Designer Ole Petter Wullum har - I samarbeid med flere av Europas beste leverandører innen treforedling – skånsomt modernisert og forbedret Budalstolen til et komfortabelt møbel med høy estetisk og teknisk kvalitet.
