Restarters Norway jobber for å skape en kultur for reparasjon av elektronikk i Norge, basert på frivillighet, delingskultur og bærekraft. Vi engasjerer og inspirerer folk og beslutningstakere gjennom å spre konseptet Fiksefest for elektronikk, og ved å sette bærekraftig forbruk av elektronikk på den offentlige agendaen. Vi er en del av et internasjonalt Restarters-nettverk som har vokst ut av Londonbaserte The Restart Project. Nordmenn ligger på Europatoppen når det gjelder bruk og kast av elektronikk, og dette har store klima- og miljømessige konsekvenser. Ved å jobbe praktisk og lokalt, spre glede og mestring knyttet til reparasjon ønsker vi å endre folks forhold til elektronikk, hvordan vi setter pris på og tar vare på den. På en Fiksefest utforsker og reparerer vi elektronikken sammen, lærer av hverandre og har det gøy med å la den leve lenger. Gjennom arrangementene sprer vi derfor nysgjerrighet og ingeniørferdigheter, i tillegg til glede knyttet til å ta vare på elektronikken vår.

Oss har utviklet en ny teknologi som gjør at informasjonen fra den nye, automatiske strømmåleren din blir gjort tilgjengelig for deg på en enkel måte. Oss-brikken hjelper deg med å hente ut informasjon fra strømmåleren, og Oss-appen oversetter og tolker denne informasjonen for deg. Vi gjør det enkelt for deg å følge med på hvor mye strøm du har brukt tidligere, og hvor mye strøm du bruker akkurat nå, uansett om du sjekker appen hjemme i Drammen eller borte i Dublin. Ever thought of growing food at home or in your office? We have developed a furniture for home growing, where the customer gets the conditions necessary to grow vegetables like lettuce and herbs indoor. The concept is based on hydroponic growing (e.g. the plants grow in water), and LED-lights. We are now taking this product to the market, and need someone to execute on the ideas.

We deliver programs focusing on equipping youth from foster homes and residential housing between ages 16 to 23, with life skills needed to succeed in adulthood. Youth who have completed our program may apply to become leaders for the next group, giving them a chance to get work experience and earn money. This is a part of our peer-to-peer thinking, where young adults can be resources for youth with  similar backgrounds as them. This creates jobs, where your life experience is an asset.

I work with marketing for companies. It is only me in my company right now, so I am running the facebook and instagram for two businesses. For the one I also run a blog where I am interviewing people in the beerbrewing business. I also take the pictures for their social media. I make their campaigns and other practical tasks like activity plans etc.

In Norsetek we combine industrial design methodology and conventional solutions in order to design a new type of large wind turbines. The Norsetek Wind Turbine Technology is estimated to reduce the levelled cost of wind energy by up to 15% (mainly by CAPEX reduction). In comparison, the expected effect of all known and unknown technology improvements until year 2025 is estimated to 5.5 % (ref. KIC InnoEnergy 2014: Renewable energy costs: Onshore wind).
