Native advertising has stayed out of the programmatic race to the bottom. That's the good news - it's still the publishers' premium on-site offering, with the margins and brand-safety story to match. The bad news is that native has remained almost entirely manual. Campaigns are hand-built, sold direct, and optimized by humans - operationally expensive on both sides of the deal. The format works, but it doesn't scale. A premium product ends up under-earning relative to its potential, and the operational drag is increasingly the reason publishers can't grow it. Contimo runs the full chain: the teaser on the publisher's front page, the advertorial it links to, and the cross-publisher distribution and yield optimization underneath.
